Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Great food, friendly service, great ambience! The filet was the best I have had. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The sides could feed 3-4 people. We ordered one filet and split it. We also ordered one cream of spinach and Au gratin potato’s. Both very good. The cream of spinach was a bit too salty for us. We shared the cream brûlée. They served it in a shallow bowl, so the cream part is very thin and the sugar topping kind of over takes the dish. I prefer the traditional way personally. Over all it was a great experience.
We’ve traveled the country, trying fine dining. This is in our top 5. It seems the general price for 8oz Filet Minion with a glass of wine & sides to share, plus a 20%tip is around $80.00 per person. This was $100. BUT Absolutely perfect! In every way. PLUS the fun of Fremont Street! 5 star
Valentines Day dinner. Had the special steak and lobster for the wife and a steak for me with a veggie. Both were great choices done just right. Came a few minutes early and they found us a table right away. Only downside was that the bathroom was in the Casino, a bit of a walk away. Plan on returning for regular night out dining.
Terrible disappointment. The ribeye was not tender and was advertised to be prime but I doubt it. The sides were nothing special. For the price it should have been much better. We could have gone to a much cheaper place and had a much better meal. The ambiance is good here. The food just doesn’t measure up.
We were there for my wifes Birthday , I have heard nothing but good news about this place so I wanted to make it special... the waiter was knowledgeable and suggested a crab cake as another appetizer. Sadly he forgot about it and didn’t offer anything else but an apology about it. My wife’s steak was supposed to be cooked to a “medium” and was raw in the middle. Once again our waiter offered an apology but nothing else... we didn’t bother to ask for the manager since they were too busy walking around and asking other guests if their food was good... I won’t be back... there are plenty of steak restaurants here in town and I know that this is one that I will stay away from
I reserved a Table at Vic & Anthony’s to celebrate my mother’s Birthday this year. We were seated right away upon arrival. Our menus were brought promptly and with a friendly introduction. We started our meal off with Oysters Rockefeller, delicious! My mother ordered the Shrimp Scampi, My girlfriend the Chicken Paige, and myself a 14 oz New York Strip. Everything was cooked to order, with an excellent flavor and succulent meats. Our accompaniments for the meal were Mac & Cheese and Broccoli. We were stuffed to the gills and left smiling we will be back, thank you for the wonderful meal!
We've been to Vic & Anthony's several times and have never been disappointed. As always the food was exceptional and the service was good but, not as fast and attentive as usual. If you're in Vegas and you're looking for a wonderful meal off the Vegas strip, this is a must.
We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals here at this lovely, historic steakhouse! It has been in the Golden Nugget Hotel for many many years and remains in the top ten of favorite steakhouses here in the USA. The service was great, steaks delicious, and the wine we ordered was smooth and special for our palate! Make it a stop, especially, on a trip to Fremont Street....you will enjoy the special Steakhouse feel! The Golden Nugget was lovely to see and visit.
This was our first visit to the steakhouse. My husband, adult daughter and I were celebrating my husband's 71st Birthday. The food and service lived up to the restaurant's excellent reputation. Both my daughter and I ordered the filet and the steak was made to order-- every bite delicious! My husband had a sushi dish and he loved it! We also had creamed spinach and scalloped potatoes - very tasty and just enough for the three of us. Our waiter was both attentive and friendly striking just the right balance as a professional waiter should. There was nothing our small party did not like about our dinner. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was packed, very noisy, but everybody appeared to be having a great time. We will be back for another special occasion.
Great place this was my second time dinning here. The waiter was excellent the drinks were great . The food was outstanding we got the steak tartare to start off which was amazing and then had the filet and ny strip for dinner and both were amazing. The creamed spinach and whipped potatos were out of this world. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and I will be eating here anytime I'm in town.
This place has the nostalgic feel of a 40’s classic steakhouse. You are nestled in the corner of the Golden Nugget, stepping into the restaurant instantly takes you back in time, and all noise from the casino is blocked. The lighting perfectly dim, the wine selection was strong, broken into regions in France which I loved. Only negative I have to say is there was no sommelier. Food was unreal, steak was amazingly cooked exactly how I wanted it, the white wine and peppercorn glaze was a perfect compliment to the steak. The lobster tail was perfect in size and wasn’t over cooked at all. The duck fat fingerling potatoes were delectable soft and melt in your mouth.
We were late for our reservation by about 15. The hostess was very accommodating. Had a drink at the bar which was awesome. The server on the other hand was NOT!! My meal came out just warm. And the server was not giving us the service. My sisters meals were good. I asked for another cocktail and the server was not prompt. Really!!! Not professional at all. Was terrribly disappointed with my meal. Is Vegas not caring about your food? Or do they just want to push as many people through?
As a local our friends love this place! This was our first time and it was very good! That said with how many other choices we have in Vegas - the food could have been better. No regrets going here - just not as good as Top of Binions or Hugo’s Cellar which are nearby and better food.
We were seated about 1 table from the kitchen doors - so right away it was a lack luster opening to the meal. Certainly at 5:15pm there were plenty of other tables we could have been placed. Service was just ok and the meal itself was the same. The oysters were very good, the cocktail shrimp slightly tough. The lobster was just ok. The Bread Pudding dessert was outstanding.
