Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Vic and Anthony's restaurant itself is beautiful, albeit a little noisy, service was excellent, and communication with the manager was great. But that's where the compliments end. Lobster Bisque was fishy and otherwise bland, and while the fried Lobster from the lobster Mac and cheese was divine, the actual Mac and cheese part was not good. Cheese sauce was tasteless and they did not remove the tail shells, making a good portion of the best part of the meal completely inedible.
And now for the worst offense: that ribeye!!! This $69 22oz bone-in ribeye was far too thin and had very obviously not been cooked at a high enough temperature, as no seared crust had developed. It was a mushy, bland, tasteless letdown.
This restaurant suffers from a severe lack of seasoning. The chef needs to locate the salt- steaks need to be seasoned before they are cooked!!!!
We spoke to the manager about the meal and he was apologetic, and stated he would keep my name in the computer and add that I prefer additional seasoning to my profile. But seriously, should there be a database for people who like their food seasoned? We didn't have this problem at Carnevino or Gordon Ramsay Steak! He took our Lobster Bisque and iceburg wedge salad off the bill for the inconvenience. It was a very nice gesture, but we just added the cost back as a tip to our servers, who were excellent. Honestly, we won't be back. We aren't going to come back to underwhelming steak when we could make a return to Old Homestead or Carnevino. But if you are looking for excellent steaks Downtown, stick with Andiamo.
Very sad, very underwhelming.
Always a great meal. We've dined here at least twenty times We've never been disappointed. Service has always been top notch. I recommend it to all my friends Traveling out to Vegas. Funny thing is I ran it to two different couples this past (MLK) Monday 1/15/18 They all raved about there meal :0) so Thank you Vic & Anthony's for not making me look bad
The food here was great, if you are not a wine expert they don’t make you feel like an idiot. They help you pick out a good wine for the meal. The service was excellent and so was the food. This place is not cheap o be ready to spend some money but like I said the food was great!!
The noise level was unbearable but mainly due to a large party of very loud patrons.
The service was friendly, professional and perfectly times.
The restaurant is small and very dark, with nicely set tables and classic steakhouse decor.
The food was OK. The steak was cooked perfectly but had virtually no flavor.
There was plenty of empty tables yet they sat me in a space where I was bumped by servers and other patrons throughout my meal. Half the restaurant was open but they crammed multiple tables into a small little alcove. Music was blasted so that we struggled to hear the waitress.
Spent New Years Eve at Vic & Anthony’s. Enjoyed the ambience and the service was excellent The food choices were more than enough and the food was great. The side portions were enough for tow to three people. We would definitely come back, however the noise level was a bit distracting.
We celebrated newyear's evening at Vic and Anthony's and it was great. The food was great and the service very attentive. I definitively would recommend this restaurant.
We know the restaurant for years and the quality fo everything remained the same over all these years - not all natural for Las Vegas. Big compliment to the restaurant.
This has got to be one of the best steakhouse there is anywhere. Staff is extremely good at their jobs and friendly on too of it. The food is to die for. I come here every time I'm in vegas and am never disappointed. If I could give this place a 10 star rating I would.
Our waiter John was excellent and very knowledgeable. We were not rushed and the food was outstanding. The sommelier, Shawn, was also outstanding and suggested an excellent bottle of red in our price range that matched our meal perfectly. The setting was dark, relatively quiet and excellent for a date or special occasion. All of our food was incredible.
We had an amazing evening! I had no idea my dinner was going to be so delicious. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was absolutely the sweetest and made superb recommendations. We will make this our regular stop every time we are in Vegas. Our new favorite restaurant. Thank you!!
The waiter was very nice. My wife and I ordered the filet and lobster. The steaks were very good however by the time we got the melted butter both lobsters were cold.We had to request the butter and it took ten to fifteen minutes to arrive. Overall we thought it to be a very nice restaurant. We did leave a generous tip.
Loved the classic steakhouse ambiance. Service was EXCELLENT! Our server, Luigi? (I'm terrible with names) was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and well prepared to accommodate one of our guests on a vegan diet. Luigi also made suggestions to adjust our shared appetizers so that we all, vegan and meat eaters alike, could partake. Chef made a vegan pasta entree (which was completely devoured) and the rest of our food (filet and lobster, shrimp scampi, and my requested "well-done" ribeye) was prepared perfectly. By far one of my best dining experiences in a long, long time. Truly worth every penny and indicative of the difference between a good steakhouse and a GREAT steakhouse. We will make it a point to dine there whenever we are in Vegas.
Delicious!!! This was our fourth time dining at this fabulous restaurant and they did not disappoint us. Food was cook to order and service was good. I strongly recommend sitting upstairs, it’s quieter then downstairs and it just feels more intimate. This is a great place to dine you will not be disappointed. There is a 3 course menu for $52.00 it’s perfect!!! We will be back.
Service was terrible. Waiter never checked back with. He didn’t ask if our steaks were cooked properly or if we would like another drink. We had to ask for the check and he didn’t clear the table until we asked for the check. Not the special Christmas Eve experience we had hoped for.
We went to Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse for Christmas Eve. We were only in Vegas overnight and wanted something special for Christmas. I'd heard rave reviews and so eagerly made reservations at Vic & Anthony's.
I was a bit thrown from the get-go as the front desk was a bit chaotic when we arrived. Someone had made a reservation and it wasn't correct in the computer (no idea if it was the fault of the restaurant or the patron, but either way it held up the line as it was handled with some delay and confusion). We were asked to step aside and wait for our table as multiple people were helping the patrons complaining so there was no one available to seat the rest of us.
We were seated after that delay and I started to feel a little better, as I did enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. I appreciate steakhouses that have a little bit more subdued of an atmosphere. I could see where some people would find it a bit too dark, but it suited our tastes.
Our server was polite and pleasant. Not the best server we've ever had, but no complaints.
The food, however. Oh, we were not thrilled. The salad was the only outstanding item, and it was indeed delicious. The asparagus and potatoes were fine, but bland. The steaks were, however, sad. Both steaks were overcooked in different manners. My husband's was just overcooked. Mine was correct inside (medium well - it was grey outer with a pink center), but had somehow been charred into a hockey puck on the outside. I honestly was sawing at it with the knife and barely cutting through it. The flavor was also lacking. My husband actually sent his steak back after prompting by the manager (and in 15 years, it's the first time I have EVER seen him send a meal back, it was that bad) but the replacement was not great. Both steaks tasted as though they were inferior cuts of meat.
To top it off, the bill was $233 after tip (yes, we still tipped over 18%, it's not the server's fault the food was bad). Worst steakhouse we've been to.
