Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
My husband found this place years ago when he had a conference at the Golden Nugget. He looked forward to this annual conference just for this restaurant. He is not a foodie but a real meat and potatoes lover. We consider him a Steak aficionado. He really is a connoisseur of Steak. People value his recommendations for meat in many circles. I as a foodie and Sommelier I have fallen in love with many menu items. The Crab and shrimp martini is superb. Cannot wait to visit again.
We celebrated our anniversary here at Vic & Anthony's Las Vegas, and were very happy with the food and service! It was noisier than we like, but otherwise wonderful. Our waiter and the mgr. were most attentive. Prices were on the high side, but they "split" our entree at no extra fee, for which we were very grateful.
This review is really really late but that wont change my opinion of this place, we went in Dec of 2014. Me and my girlfriend went here after reading some pretty good reviews on this place, we booked with open table which was easy. We show up dressed to impress, got great service from start to finish. I ordered a steak and a side and she got a 2lb lobster, I was unaware but this place is a la cart which didn't make a difference for us since it was for her b day. We ate bread while we waited and when the food arrived I flip over my steak and it black on one side and fine on the other, I refused it and had another made, by this time my girlfriend is half way done eating and I get my 2nd steak, it is as well black on one side on not on the other, at this point im mad. I have the manager come over and ask how hard is it to cook a steak, he tells me its on an open grill and that's why its that way but im sorry anyone who can bbq or cook on a grill knows if you flip them enough at the right temp you will have a perfect steak. So my advice is read the menu and check if things seem appealing to you but don't get a steak, not work my $225.
Took my parents here for their anniversary. We had a great meal with great service. Told some friends about it and said we should go when they are in town. It was no fluke that the first trip was so good. Second time eating here was just a great. Melt in your mouth steak. Accompanied by au gratin potatoes, mac & cheese, and creamed spinach. Had the onion straws and potato crisp as an appetizer while my friends enjoyed a crab cake. All four of us had a different dessert. Apple pie gelato, bread pudding, chocolate mousse, and strawberry cheesecake. Everyone of them was delicious. Generous portions of everything from start to finish. All served by a great waiter named James. Will eat here every chance I get.
Looked forward to this and came away just a little disappointed. Server seemed rushed and forgot our wine until reminded by the busboy whom we asked after we could not find our server. Food was outstanding except I was surprised that they included American Cheese in their Mac and Cheese. It overwhelmed the other two cheeses and I personally do not care for it. Never asked us if everything was fine, just said is there anything else? Did not asked if it was a special occasion. Woman at the bar was taking flash pictures that disturbed our dimly lit romantic evening, no one asked her to stop. Creme Brulee had no flavoring to it. Steak and salmon was excellent. Took bread away before our main course.
Absolutely wonderful meal! The filet was soft as butter and the lobster was the most perfectly cooked lobster tail. Even the Brussels sprouts were amazing - they were pan-fried to a wonderful crisp. Definitely recommend this restaurant! (It may be a steak place, but if you like lobster, don't pass up the opportunity!)
We came here during a recent trip to Vegas for my birthday. After reading reviews, my boyfriend made a reservation. We split a bone-in filet mignon and a baked potato. AMAZING steak, cooked perfectly (medium) and incredibly tender. You hardly even needed a steak knife. The potato was expensive for what it was but it tasted good nonetheless. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the whole menu as well as the wine list. We were impressed by him and the service of everyone who worked there. We never had to wait for a refill on water because people were always there to refill it when it got medium-low. Finally, our waiter gave us the dessert menu and told us to pick one on the house for my birthday. The creme brulee was fantastic but too big to finish.
Overall, I will make sure to come back here next time I'm in Las Vegas!
The food was excellent though the sides portions were very large. Service was impeccable. A special touch: my son had arranged for a great wine for us (from his home town). The sommelier presented it to us with grace and followed up with my son after we left to let him know that the dinner and wine were successful. Great touch!
This was an delicious meal. My husband and I ordered the maple glazed siracha quail appetizer and it was simply to die for! The steaks were wonderful and cooked exactly right. There was a nice wine list, some of the were very expensive but there were also bottles in a more reasonable price range. Our server was knowledgable and prompt with the service. I really loved the low lighting, beautiful wooden walls and Sinatra songs playing, it definitely added something to the experience. You should be prepared to pay a decent amount for your meal here. Bottom line: if you're willing to pay a bit for a nice meal in Vegas and want a good steak, this is your place
Read the reviews from Trip Advisor before selection. Spent approximately 12 hours searching for a romantic place to dine with my new wife. This place was amazing. The food was fantastic and service was impeccable. Would not hesitate to recommend to another traveler.
This is probably the best steakhouse in which I have ever dined. The service is top notch and the food and drinks are amazing. It is a special occasion type of place since the bill is hefty but the quality of the food and service are well worth it. It is rare to find a restaurant that lives up to superlative claims but this one does in every way.
We booked a table for sunday night dinner. The food is great, the restaurant has a really good atmosphere, theres a constant buzz yet it still feels intimate. We had steaks and they were superb and be warned the sides come in generous portions. A first class restaurant in the iconic Golden Nugget. Indulge yourselves.
We went to celebrate a birthday. The steak my husband got was very grisly & fatty it should have been cut down & trimmed better. The salad portion was large enough to share with a table of 4. The chicken Paige was dry & over seasoned. The complimentary birthday desert was a hazelnut chocolate mousse & was the best part of our meal. The Steakhouse in Circus Circus has better quality food & service for the price & we will go there instead from now on!
We went to vic & Anthony's after reading some of the reviews from previous guests and I have to say we were not disappointed. On arrival we were made to feel really welcome our waiter was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble we both had fillet minion steaks with duck fat potatoes & it was outstanding possibly the best steak we have ever had very tender & the flavour was out of this world. Would deffanatly recommend this place & would certainly go back again.
