Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Never disappoints. My husband and I have been a handful of times to this hidden gem in downtown Las Vegas. Vic & Anthony's keeps its menu fresh and updated while offering old-school steakhouse classics. We settled ourselves at the bar where we enjoyed two lovely bartenders attending to us. Service was on par. We devoured King crab legs in drawn butter, the best potatoes au gratin I have ever had and a Siracca quail that I will be thinking about all year. Do not hesitate to try this spot.
My husband and I ate here our last night in Las Vegas. The restaurant is beautiful. Located conveniently just off Fremont Street downtown. Our waiter Matt was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. For cocktails I ordered a Blood & Sand, my husband had a Stella Cidre. We had the Calamari appetizer. For our entrees my husband ordered the stuffed Salmon which he said "even the asparagus is PERFECT!" I had the special which was Surf & Turf (Lobster Tail & Filet Mignon) served with Brussels Sprouts & Blistered Cherry Tomatoes. By the time we finished the Entrees we didn't have room left for Dessert! Highly Recommend.
We come to Vegas twice a year, and every time we have to go downtown to Vic and Anthony's, you will not be disappointed, make sure you get their lobster and their filet. The cheesy au gratin potatoes are to die for and if you like mushrooms you have to get their mushrooms. After you are finished with dinner you must try the bread pudding cake. It is to die for. Our waiters are always great, never any issues, and the drinks are very good as well… I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fine place to dine.
The food was delicious, cooked perfectly. The service was great. But the Ambiance was more like a bar with live sports on a screen not far from the table. Not what one would expect for an expensive dinner. Also it's very small nestled inside of a casino. Our table was barely inside the door although we were grateful we weren't at the table that was almost blocking the door the servers went in and out of like other people. They do have a nicer area that's a little separated and more cozy, but we weren't seated there. They seem to want to use the main floor first.
This is one of my favorites in Vegas, truly a hidden gem. The food is spectacular. The service is impeccable. I have been here several times and had a wonderful experience every time, whether dining at a table or at the bar. I have tried all categories of entrees too - filet, chicken, lobster pasta, etc. Now every time I visit Vegas I MUST eat here at least once!
The Ribeye steak was not very flavorful or as tender as I usually eat at other locations. For half the price I can get a full Ribeye steak dinner at Cafe Lux at the Palazzo casino. Their steaks are very flavorful, tasty, and much more tender. I will not recommend your restaurant to anyone. The only reason why I went was for my granddaughters 21st birthday. I was very disappointed in the meal.
Vic and Anthony's restaurant itself is beautiful, albeit a little noisy, service was excellent, and communication with the manager was great. But that's where the compliments end. Lobster Bisque was fishy and otherwise bland, and while the fried Lobster from the lobster Mac and cheese was divine, the actual Mac and cheese part was not good. Cheese sauce was tasteless and they did not remove the tail shells, making a good portion of the best part of the meal completely inedible.
And now for the worst offense: that ribeye!!! This $69 22oz bone-in ribeye was far too thin and had very obviously not been cooked at a high enough temperature, as no seared crust had developed. It was a mushy, bland, tasteless letdown.
This restaurant suffers from a severe lack of seasoning. The chef needs to locate the salt- steaks need to be seasoned before they are cooked!!!!
We spoke to the manager about the meal and he was apologetic, and stated he would keep my name in the computer and add that I prefer additional seasoning to my profile. But seriously, should there be a database for people who like their food seasoned? We didn't have this problem at Carnevino or Gordon Ramsay Steak! He took our Lobster Bisque and iceburg wedge salad off the bill for the inconvenience. It was a very nice gesture, but we just added the cost back as a tip to our servers, who were excellent. Honestly, we won't be back. We aren't going to come back to underwhelming steak when we could make a return to Old Homestead or Carnevino. But if you are looking for excellent steaks Downtown, stick with Andiamo.
Very sad, very underwhelming.
Always a great meal. We've dined here at least twenty times We've never been disappointed. Service has always been top notch. I recommend it to all my friends Traveling out to Vegas. Funny thing is I ran it to two different couples this past (MLK) Monday 1/15/18 They all raved about there meal :0) so Thank you Vic & Anthony's for not making me look bad
We enjoyed our last dinner so much, we decided to have dinner to celebrate our birthdays. We didn't stray from what we ordered the last time we were here since it was so delicious last time. We started with our traditional dozen of fresh oysters. Fresh, crisp, tasty, and served with that horseradish that is ridiculously strong. The mignonette was also outstanding.
We skipped our first courses and went straight to our main course, the 40 oz tomahawk with a side of asparagus. Much like last time, the tomahawk was presented to us on a cutting board before it was taken back to the kitchen for slicing. The tomahawk was cooked to perfection and out of this world, it's a steak that does not disappoint.
The manager remembered us from the last time since we share the same last name. We were both given dessert on the house to celebrate our birthdays. Since we had a tomahawk for dinner, we were extremely full. The experience here is always top notch and still ranks number one on our list of all time restaurants. The staff, the quality of the food, and the ambiance are so polished here that it's sometimes hard to enjoy food from other restaurants. Make no mistake, if we're in Vegas, we're taking an evening and dining here.
The food here was great, if you are not a wine expert they don’t make you feel like an idiot. They help you pick out a good wine for the meal. The service was excellent and so was the food. This place is not cheap o be ready to spend some money but like I said the food was great!!
The noise level was unbearable but mainly due to a large party of very loud patrons.
The service was friendly, professional and perfectly times.
The restaurant is small and very dark, with nicely set tables and classic steakhouse decor.
The food was OK. The steak was cooked perfectly but had virtually no flavor.
Booked months in advance to reserve a table for a birthday dinner. Perhaps I should have called instead of use OpenTable? Unfortunately, we were seated at a sub par table behind a pole and next to a very loud table of six men boisterously enjoying their meal. When ordering, the waiter confirmed the temperature of my steak. I ordered medium-rare .... I said I only required it to be warm through. He indicated that Medium Rare would come out still cool in the middle (which to me in a normal restaurant is Rare). Needless to say, I took the waiters recommendation and the steak came out Medium to Medium-Well. The good news is that the manager fixed the issue. The bad news is then my husband got to eat in front of me and we didn't get to enjoy our meals together. I should have stuck with my gut and ordered to true temperature and not listened to the waiter. Also, because we were a two top behind a pole, we didn't see our waiter as often as I would have liked. It took a little time getting someone's attention to report the issue with my steak. It was only because the manager asked in passing how our meal was and I reported the overcooked steak. It was the manager who attended to the issue and not the waiter. Overall, I have had much better meals for $300. The quality to cost for this meal was severely lacking. For the same price, we enjoyed a MUCH better meal at Hell's Kitchen a few nights later ... and almost the exact same menu items.
Spent New Years Eve at Vic & Anthony’s. Enjoyed the ambience and the service was excellent The food choices were more than enough and the food was great. The side portions were enough for tow to three people. We would definitely come back, however the noise level was a bit distracting.
There was plenty of empty tables yet they sat me in a space where I was bumped by servers and other patrons throughout my meal. Half the restaurant was open but they crammed multiple tables into a small little alcove. Music was blasted so that we struggled to hear the waitress.
