Nice restaurant with a good steak (not the best I’ve had at a comparable higher end steak house in other locations) and very attentive service!
Everything was good, but the only negative is that is seemed to be very pricey. Also not a big fan of loud "noise" places. It was difficult to hear across the table. Music from bar was too loud for my liking.
Seafood tower was an excellent starter, but for $150 you would hope so !!!
A very pleasant experience. Great food and a waitress that kept herself at a distance yet never too far to check and fulfill any of my needs. Melody was truly excellent.

Excellent food, as always, with a phenomenal wine list. Service was a bit sub part for a Sunday night, but we weren't in a rush fortunately. Overall a great dining experience. We will return to Vic and Anthony's.

The last experience set high expectations for this time and our waiter sucked. We forgot what we had last time which was items not on the menu so we ordered things we didn’t enjoy and much higher. We were mad but made the best of it

Vic and Anthony's more that met my expectations the food was excellent (Prime porterhouse for two was a great date meal), the wine list extensive yet easy to navigate. I took my girlfriend for Valentine's day dinner and we were seated quickly considering the busy holiday. Our server arrived quickly and expertly explained the wine and cocktail list as well as provided an excellent recommendation for our appetizer (the crab cake is a must try), While we waited for our drinks and appetizer we were seated to soft warm bread with whipped butter, and last but not least out meal was finishes with quite possibly the best steak I've ever eaten cooked medium rare and as tender as can be. Overall a great experience and an excellent dinner date I highly recommend it and fully plan on returning in the future.
Ashoka was amazing and very personable, was a little upset initially as we took the time to make reservations and those were not honored. So my thoughts were, what is the point of taking reservations? But due to the service of a few and not the whole, my evening was somewhat salvaged. Still not particularly happy with the experience as a whole, but I will say, as a fine dining establishment, and I own a restaurant, customer Service is lacking. My ratings are only for Ashok, our waiter and for no one else.

We had a lovely Valentines dinner there , they have the best crabcakes in Houston . Everything was delicious and a beautiful quartet played during dinner also .
I love this restaurant, but we had to ask our server Carlisle for drink refills. We had to ask for bread twice. He was not attentive to us and we arrived early evening and the restaurant wasn't that busy yet, so there was no excuse for that kind of service. I will be back and hopefully get a better server.

We made this an early Valentine's Day date. It was wonderful and the food was awesome. The wait staff was excellant.
On arrival at the restaurant we were informed that our 5.45 booking did not exist (strange as we had the Open Table confirmation) however, the restaurant hostess was very accommodating and let us have a table provided we could kindly vacate it by 7.45 which we were happy to do. This was our first visit to Houston's Vic and Anthonys and I have to say, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent and we were served wonderfully by our waiter Brett who was extremely polite and accommodating. I did, however, notice that out of the 4 "Heads of House" who appeared to be on duty that evening, not one of them approached our table and asked about our experience. This was quite surprising as they actually had to walk around our table to get to the other patrons on the left side of the dining room. This is not particularly important to us but having been Landry' patrons for some time and dining at several of their more "select" locations, we did find this very unusual. That said, I would definitely recommend Vic & Anthony's to anyone wishing to enjoy a fantastic meal, with good service and a great ambiance. If you are willing to spend a little more for the experience it is definitely worth it.

My family was looking forward to, and planning, this meal for weeks because we had heard that Vic & Anthony's is a superb restaurant. I was planning to drop ~$1,000 on dinner for two adults and one young child after a 25% tip. Unfortunately, however, it proved to be the most disappointing meal of my entire 43 year life. The first shortcoming was that they didn't have several items on their menu that we wanted to order. For example, they had no Petrossian caviar in stock. Their manager told me that their weekly order had not come in. I know, however, that Petrossian claims that their caviar can be refrigerated for four weeks, so Vic & Anthony's should keep enough in stock that they don't need to order it every week. This represents poor inventory management. Second, they did not have A5 Wagyu filet mignon available, only A5 Wagyu NY strip. The manager explained this by saying that his chef was excited by the opportunity to order A5 Wagyu NY strip so he ordered that instead of the A5 Wagyu filet mignon. A restaurant needs to always keep items on their advertised menu in stock. It's OK to order items in addition to the menu to offer as specials, but Vic & Anthony's failed to stock items on their menu, which is unacceptable. Third, they didn't have Yellow Rose IPA in stock, but this I can forgive because the brewery simply cannot keep up with demand. The coup de grace, though, was when my A5 Wagyu NY strip, which I ordered medium-rare (which most chefs agree should have a core temperature of 135°F) was served; the core temperature was about 45°F. It was literally refrigerator cold and raw. THIS WAS APPALLING. Naturally, I sent the steak back. It was returned to me with a core temperature of about 55°F. THIS WAS BEYOND BELIEF. What's even worse is that when I complained to the manager he had the audacity to tell me that temperature doesn't matter. WTF? The final insult came when we went to pay and the electronic device didn't work. THE MANAGER AND CHEF NEED TO BE FIRED!
