Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
This was our second time here. I gave an outstanding review last time and once again another outstanding review. We again ordered the Alaskan King Crab legs for an appetizer, (it is on the menu as a meal). They come split and easily remove from their shells. They are the best I've had. They are not salty as is with most restaurants, they were sweet and delicious! My husband had the bone in rib eye which was fantastic. I had the 6oz filet special, served with a mushroom risotto and spinach, would love that risotto on the regular menu! It was my husbands bday, they brought our cream puffs and biscotti, which were good, can't complain for something free, but we also ordered the bread pudding with the cinnamon ice cream. Let's just say we could eat that everyday! Can't wait for the next time we have dinner here. Maybe I'll try something different.
Classic. What a great experience we had at V&A's. The food was great, but what really put it over the top was the service. Someone who knows how to train and run a staff is clearly in charge over there. This was true both at the table, and away from it; servers and staff jumped out of customers' way as we were walking around and were extremely courteous.
There were four of us. We had drinks, appetizers, soups, salads, wine, 3 steaks, 1 chicken dish (Chicken Paige), and 2 sides to share. Everything was awesome (except the bacon appetizer- it was a bit dry). The steaks were perfect- bone in filet, and bone in ribeye. The duck fat potatoes were a standout. The guy who got chicken said it was the best chicken dish he'd ever had at a steakhouse.
Excellent business dinner at this restaurant! Our server Cody did an amazing job and every dish was delicious. The wine list was extensive and had something for any enthusiast. The food was fairly priced for a restaurant of this caliber and met expectations on every level. We'll be back, for sure!
Went for our anniversary. The service was excellent; our waiter outstanding. It was clean - that's a biggie for me - and tastefully decorated. When seated we were offered our choice of white or black napkins! Anyway, our meals arrived fairly quickly and were flawless. The steak was done perfectly, veggies were tasty, and my seafood orecchiette was delicious. I will tell you to go just based on the good food. Also, they brought us a plate with a candle and a couple of cream puffs and biscotti for our anniversary - nice touch! However, I MUST talk about my appetizer - Roasted Bacon; Pepper Crusted, Bourbon Barrel Maple Syrup, Root Beer Glaze. I had to order it because - bacon. The waiter brought me a plate with two strips of bacon that were well between 1/4" and 1/2" thick! Smoky. Sweet. Peppery. It was bacon heaven. I had a slice packed up and took it home, whereupon I gave thanks to the pig gods and ate it naked under the full moon. It's that good. I'm just sayin'.
This was our first time going here and probably will not go back. The food was good but not any better than any other upscale steakhouse. There was a private party going on in a private dining room right next to our table. The party was off the charts out of control and the noise level was obnoxious. Our server did his best to make us comfortable given the circumstances and finally moved our table to the other side of the restaurant.
The atmosphere is amazing. We were greeted on NYE with a glass of champagne at the door. What an awesome way to start our anniversary dinner and ring in the new year. Then we were seated and were given undivided attention by our waiter Bill and many other staff members. Bill made phenomenal recommendations. We started with the crab cake app which was completely covered in lump crab meat and delicious. Then we had the pear salad which was split in two so we could share--love when restaurants take the time to do that. After, we had the cowboy ribeye which was recommended be cooked at medium albeit we asked for med-rare. I was so glad Bill spoke up b/c the steak came out perfect. We were then offered the chance to get it sliced. Loved that. Made it easy for us to eat our dish. That came along side mushroom gnocchi. So tasty with a hint of spice. Then we indulged in a caramel bread pudding. We ate everything and left nothing behind. The best meal I have ever eaten start to finish, with a wonderful staff--well worth the money!
