Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Our steak was delicious and large enough to share. The reception staff was welcoming and very helpful - they allowed my sister to bring her motorized scooter into the dining room and right up to our table; then they took it to the front so it wouldn't be in the way. Our server, Laurel, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The other attendant staff was also excellent.
My sister and I have been coming to AC for many years. We have gone to many of the restaurants. Vic & Anthonys is one of the top restaurants. In fact I'll be taking my husband for his birthday in two weeks. Can't say enough for the martinis and oysters. Dinner was fabulous. Staff was wonderful.
The food was excellent and reflected the price point. Our waiter Juan was top notch and was not only professional, but sociable as well. His recommendations were on point. In addition, Victor, the maitre d, made sure we were very happy customers. He visited our table on more than one occasion and made our visit an exceptional one. The whole staff worked in unison like a finely tuned orchestra. All the while, not making an elegant atmosphere pleasant and not overbearing.
We returned again a second night in a row, only to find the same high level of service as well as food quality that we'd found the night before.
I would highly recommend the fresh cuts of filet mignon, the pork chops as well as the more than plentiful (as well as delicious) sides of creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin.
We look forward to visiting again!
The service was excellent. My NY strip was cooked to perfection. The broccoli side is a little overwhelming. Delicious but too much for two people. The loaded baked potato was good. It came out cold at first but it was rectified very quickly.
A very comprehensive wine list! The ultimate fig cocktail was tasty - I would definitely recommend if you don't like sweet drinks.
Not sure if the wine (Cabernet) was old, but it was very strong, actually bitter. My husband had a filet , which he said was VERY flavorful. Unfortunately, during dinner he started having abdominal pain which progressed to more symptoms. I had seafood which was very good. The atmosphere was ok, nothing great . Very loud. Difficult to talk during our anniversary dinner. We will not be eating there again.
Service was impeccable. Our server, Kristin, seemed to read your mind and provide service before you had a chance to ask. Ambience was good. Our steaks were very good, not spectacular as you would expect with prime cuts. Shrimp appetizers were good as were the salads. We did not sample desserts as we were celebrating a birthday with a cake at home.
Have eaten at Vic & Anthony's many times, on both special occasions and just "because." Perfectly cooked steaks and wonderful sides (the creamed spinach is a must; superior to most other steakhouse preparations of this standard but well-loved side).
Excellent service. Atmosphere not at all stuffy--people are actually ENJOYING themselves!
The waitstaff has finally stopped trying to jam that Landry Rewards card down your throat, too. That's a welcome change!
From the moment we were greeted by the hostess, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The entire wait staff and manager (Victor) made us feel like we'd been there numerous times (it was our first visit). Last, but certainly not least, the food was outstanding.
Staring with our drinks, to our calamari appetizer, and right through our entrees, we could not have had a better meal. We felt totally satisfied with both our food, and our total experience at Vic & Anthony's.
We'll definitely be back!
We very much enjoyed the service, timing and ambience. The food was perfectly prepared and the menu choices were exactly what we were hoping for.
My only criticism is the pricing is about 15%-20% higher than we see for comparable food and service in the area, particularly considering it's situated inside the casion and not on the water, so I would say it's just fair value for the dollar.
The ambiance was nice especially because it was not busy on a Tuesday night. The service was great, I ordered Tuna but must say the portion was small and it could have used more sauce. My dining partners or King Crab legs which were delicious and a veal chop, also delicious.
