Via Vite was great as usual. The waiter was very attentive and the food was awesome. Another great dining experience.
Great service. Variety of available menu items. WONDERFUL atmosphere. Highly recommend.
This place was wonderful besides the waitress taking my food before I was done. This was done without my knowledge or consent. I don't believe it was purposeful. But made the night a little irritating. I still had half a plate left of food and it was just thrown away. Food would have been worth the price if I would have gotten to finish my plate. Over all though. Wonderful environment and amazing food.
The food was great and the service was outstanding. However, they need to learn how to pronounce tagliatelle properly.
Very good food and service. Not too expensive considering the overall quality.
We arrived early and Brandy sat us right away at an adorable table by the window. The service was excellent. The food came out at a great pace and the drinks were great. Fun place. Look forward to returning, especially when the weather gets better.
My family and I went on a Saturday evening for dinner. The food was delicious. The food came out quickly. Overall great experience.
Wonderful service, food was excellent. Smaller portions which we actually really liked.
Perfect spot for a special occasion. Wide variety of options, great wine list, and great desserts. Their chocolate Crème brûlée was delicious! Free regular Crème brûlée with birthdays. Always love it here.
We were stuck at a 2 top table in the middle of the restaurant, very crowded. I ordered the Leek soup, it came without a spoon. I stopped someone to get a spoon, wait 10 minutes, after that our waitress came out with a tray covered by a napkin with 5 spoons. There were 4 other customers sitting around me with soup and no spoons. The soup was cold, they didn't offer to bring another soup out. The main entree portion was very small for the price. Plus when I made the reservation there was nothing to say that it was a special menu at $50 per plate. Not a value. You would think that in 11 years that they would know how to run a restaurant. Thank you,
Valentine's day "all inclusive menu" was extremely mediocre. You had 3 options for an entree and it was really just an overall disappointment. Spent 140 bucks, and will not be going back anytime soon.
Limited menu on valentines was not great, food had obviously been pre cooked, overdone
Valentine’s Day. They had a Valentine’s Day special menu and was extremely disappointed in the food.
I was ill BEFORE getting to the restaurant; so I can’t really judge the experience too well. However, once the restaurant knew I was under the weather, they all (manager to waitperson) did a superb job of helping us enjoy the visit as best we could. When flowers I had ordered didn’t show up during dinner as planned with a local florist, the restaurant even created a very lovely table bouquet of roses!! Kudos and many thanks. We will return. PS: my illness was not infectious.
We were well taken care of. They had a large, loud party upstairs where we were, but because we were clearly celebrating Valentines Day a day early, they placed us in a private room, one other couple was in there as well. It was very quiet, even though the remainder of the restaurant we walked through to get there seemed very energetic. My wife loved the wine that was recommended, but the craft beer selection could have been a little deeper.
I gave the food only 4 stars because, while I know many people prefer pasta al dente, what we got was a little more than that....almost chewy. Not enough to complain, as we didn't want to ruin the good vibe, and certainly not bad enough to not eat (LOL)....the flavors were amazing, and being able to order half of two different entrees was excellent, as neither one of us could decide what we wanted.
We will definitely be back for special occasions, and we look forward to it.
Via Vite is reasonably priced for the quality of food served. If you are looking for a feast, this restaurant is not for you. The portions are small. But the quality is what you pay for. Overall, I would return to this restaurant.
Sat at the chef's table facing the kitchen and watched a well choreographed ballet of cooking! Everyone there seemed happy to be there...happy cooks equals happy food! Chef Christian oversaw everything going out of his kitchen without being overbearing to his staff. The food is always of the highest quality and so so good! The service is always top notch too. Via Vite never disappoints.
Food was excellent, but very small portion sizes. Drinks were great, though over priced. Overall, a great night, but over priced and left hungry.
Mussels appetizer and grilled octapus were flavorful and unique. Super Tuscan by the glass good value.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Service was fantastic. Our server was energetic and attentive to us even with a packed house.
Love the atmosphere at Via Vite. When we first arrived we were to be seated upstairs in a private room. It was early and the downstairs area was completely open so it was a little strange. After having a drink at the bar and seeing other diners seated in the downstairs area we requested to be seated there instead. I’m vegan and my pizza was made with cheese. I didn’t realize until after eating a piece. They made a new one to go and brought some Prosecco for the table, which was nice.
Love Via Vite. I was in Tuscany several years ago and I discovered Bolognese. Never thought I would ever taste that wonderful dish again, but surprise, Via Vite granted my wish.
Food was good and service was quick. Our server was trying very hard, but she told us about 3 specials. Then we heard another server at the table behind us list a salad special as well as 2 entree specials that our server had neglected to mention.
Once a again I reminded how good this place is. I had the lamb shank this past weekend and it is just unreal - tender, roasted perfectly, and seasoned so nicely with Rosemary. I have to plan to get it once a month! Service was great and noise level is nice.
Excellent service in the upstairs dining room, which was notably quieter than downstairs. The wine list features many Italians grouped by region, which was perfect for us as we're planning a trip and wines from Campania were on the list. Baked polenta appetizer was terrific. Meatballs just ok, nothing great. Cioppino was very good with two baby octopus, squid, shrimp and scallops in a nice savory broth. Many entrees were intriguing. I will go back to try some. We are fans of the sister restaurant in Hyde Park, and recommend both highly.
Drinks were great, the goat cheese bruschetta was lovely and the gnocchi was tremendous. The antipasti needed another cheese like Parmesan to round it out and the cioppino had too much squid and octopus and not enough fish and sauce. The atmosphere can’t be beat though and overall we had a wonderful dinner.
We are at Via Vite for lunch this afternoon. We had the goat cheese bruschetta that was outstanding - but for 9 dollars, the portion was unbelievably small. Sharing between two people was a joke. The lunch special of 2 for 12 was a good deal with very yummy soups, salads, and pasta to choose from... we left full and happy!
Excellent place always love it
Christian is from Florence Italy and it is a treat to have his passion for food in Cincinnati!
It was our first time there, and the pizza was fabulous! Also, the lemon martini and the homemade orangecello was amazing! And , the crispy gnocchi was spot on:)
