    We were there to celebrate a special birthday. Had outdoor tables. The weather was perfect. Great view of fountains and park stage had entertainment that created a nice atmosphere. Service was very fast and attentive. The cocktail menu had unique offerings and very tasty. Food was delicious, appetizer bread, lobster tortellini and pan fried gnocchi. The choclate creme brule was outstanding. I will return and highly reccomend.

    Been here many times, aways good. 3 for restaurant week. It was a bit cold inside, we were told the air-conditioning wasn't working properly, the hostess was wearing a down vest! 2 had restaurant week menus and I ordered off the regular. Ordered bread service and they were out of bread! To apologize they brought us a free order of Brussel sprouts which were delicious. Overall very good and will be going back (after the air conditioner is fixed).

    I had a business meal here and was my first time at Via Vite. The proximity to Fountain Square was perfect (perfect view of the gorgeous fountain from our table) and the meal was superb.

    All the meals and meatballs were fantastic. The lamb shank was outrageous. Super tender with just the right amount of rosemary. The polenta was just subtle enough to compliment.

    This was not a good night dining. Our server was very pleasant but many aspects of the evening did not live up to expectation. We arrived approximately 10 minutes prior to our scheduled time of 6p and were seated when we arrived. We informed her that we would be attending the performance at the Aronoff at 8p. She verified that we had plenty of time. I ordered a Tanqueray with a twist and emphasized no vermouth. Unfortunately the first drink contained vermouth so I sent it back. Our pasta course was delayed. Our server came to the table twice and stated that the kitchen was preparing the pasta. It finally arrived after an extended wait. Our main course was lamb shank which we have ordered many times in the past. For some reason it was very salty. I did inform our server. We finished our meal by 7:30p. At 7:40 we had not received the bill. Finally at 7:45 I went to the front to request the bill as we were going to be late. Yes I would recommend Via Vita for dinner but not if there are time restraints. This has not been our first experience of almost being late for the Aronoff.

    I had my birthday dinner here, I did the four course with wine pairing and it all was very enjoyable. The tables are super close together, which kinda made us feel like we were having dinner with the couple next to us.

    As always, everything was exceptional. It was our anniversary and we were treated like royalty. Everything we ordered was fabulous. We sat outdoors and were treated to the sounds of Salsa on the Square. Just delightful!

    It was for birthday celebration. Our server was very nice, food came all together and we’re all very good. Halibut was cooked very well. And Brussels sprouts were good. Got tiramisu and crème brûlée. Wasn’t super keen on the sponge part of the tiramisu but cheesecake in the middle was good. Creek brûlée was very rich, sort of like pot de crème, and spoon shaped chocolate was super!

    Great overall experience. Food was outstanding. From our appetizers of bruschetta and meatballs to entrees of risotto, halibut, lamb shank, chicken and pasta in vodka sauce - all excellent and would highly recommend. Their vodka sauce is so cravable should be bottled & sold! Finally deserts were outstanding! The bread pudding and chocolate crème brûlée 😍😍😍😍 We sat upstarts at a nice table but were placed next to 2 larger groups and it was crowded and loud. Servers had a hard time moving between tables unless we pulled our chairs all the way in which isn’t comfortable. Over all though - outstanding!

    What a great restaurant right in the heart of Cincy on Fountain Square. The food and wine were spectacular and then we got to sit out on the plaza and lisetn to live music before a short walk back to the Hilton Netherlands.

    We have eaten at Via Vite for the past 8 years, love this restaurant. Service was slow and inattentive, the Lamb Shank was cool, the polenta was very firm, as if the dish had been sitting under the heat lamp for too long. Hopefully this experience was a one off, we’ll be back to try again.

    It’s always a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The server was exceptional. She was very attentive without being obtrusive. The owner and lead chef brought our appetizer to us and did the same for many other tables. We had a nice conversation with him and it was a nice touch. Absolutely recommend Via Vite.

    Great experience. Service was wonderful. The patio view was just as good. Food was prepared & presented well. (If you don’t want to climb a lot of stairs you should forgo the patio.) Only complaint we had (and it’s not the restaurant’s fault) is that the noise & music from the square below were at times obnoxiously loud. Would definitely go back however because everything else made up for it in spades. It might look like a tourists spot from the outside, but don’t skip it based on that impression. It’s well worth the stop!

    The pasta was more than “al dente” it was actually NEARLY RAW and uncooked. The lamb was excellent and great drinks. If I go back I’ll request NO AL DENTE!!
