   the upstairs outdoor patio was very nice with lovely decor and overlooks fountain square. the service was slow at times but our server was lovely. had the vodka pasta and the lobster pasta, which was a very tiny size. had the artichoke appetizer with was excellent. the dark chocolate creme broulee was to die for.

   To start, our food when it got to us was delicious. We got seated quickly. We got our drinks. Then the hour long wait began for our food. It was just 2 of us. The waiter finally told us they “lost” our order. We think however it went to the table one down from us. They did comp us each a glass of wine.

   Food was great. We were running late, super accommodating with our reservations. Only complaint, waited a bit too long for first cocktails. I will definitely go back!!

    enjoyed a great dinner before seeing a show at the aronoff. Service was a little slow, but attentive. Appetizers took a little longer to arrive, but we gave ourselves plenty of time.

    AMAZING!! I think our server’s name was Drew. He was new and I would not have known if they didn’t tell us. He knew about the wines and the food and gave great recommendations. Thank you. We had the Arancini and the Burrata which were both great appetizers. I had the Lumache alla Vodka and I highly recommend it. I was so full but could not leave one of those noodles on my plate. Lastly we had the Valrhona Dark Chocolate Creme Brulee, so good.

    I know space at a premium there, but a kind thought that the tables for two are on top each other and no conversation becomes private.

    We had 9 of us celebrating our sons' graduating from high school. We were there for 3 hours and only got asked for drinks once, and the food took forever to get. The server you could barely understand as he spoke so quietly. It was very awkward . No one offered bread we had to ask even though the bolognese special came with bread and then only had one loaf for 9 of us so not everyone could have a piece. When they finally decided to clean up some plates they spilled olive oil all over my fiends sport coat and really didn't offer anything but a free dry cleaning . The jacket is ruined. We finally received the bill after numerous complaints and never once did a manger come see us or ask what happened. They took off dessert but included a 20% tip. We will never be back. It's like they forgot we were even there and the food was just ok.

    Kanada gave us great service. The Bruschetta Fichi E Caprino was great as ever. This was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate.

    I love this restaurant. We had our wedding reception on the upstairs patio ten years ago and the food was exquisite. My family went for Mother’s Day and it was underwhelming. The service was wonderful and all the people were very professional. However. they only offered a limited Buffet at $40 per person plus a $22 surcharge for Mother’s Day brunch. The cost wasn’t a concern. It was the quality and selection of food. While there was prime rib on the menu, it was over cooked in some places and undercooked in others. Most of the food in the buffet did not meet the standard one would expect to find at your local Frisch’s breakfast bar. Again, we have had some top-notch and wonderful experiences in the past and I recommend this restaurant to everyone. However, the Mother’s Day brunch was quite disappointing.

    Went for Mother's Day brunch (ate upstairs, on the outside balcony). Food was replenished, delicious and was a good value for Via Vite.

    This was the 4th celebratory brunch we’ve attended at ViaVite ( Easter , Mother’s Day etc ) and each gets better and BETTER! The variety of choices is above and beyond, as is the quality of preparation. First rate, Chef!

    Great experience last night at Via Vite. Haven’t been in a while but will be going back soon, Seated right when we got there at our reservation time, server was very attentive and food was delicious. Manager came by to see how everything was which was nice . Unfortunately many restaurants these days lack the service, not Via Vite.

    So accommadating and the staff is very kind and amicable. Food is amazing, my father, who turns his nose at everything, was thoroughly impressed by the bolognese.

    Celebrated my boyfriends birthday great! They brought out a little scoop of icecream with a candle, and the food was great. We got the seafood risotto and crispy gnocchi. Loved both. Drinks were great too, and if you come during the aperitivo menu you can save a few bucks.

    It was our second time going to Via Vita for anniversary dinner and we loved it. The food, ambience and service was excellent. Will definitely go a third time and beyond. I keep telling everyone about this lovely restaurant in downtown Cincinnati in front of the water falls. So romantic and beautiful. Via Vita has the best location downtown ❤️

    I was disappointed that our anniversary wasn’t acknowledged. When making the reservation I noted it in the comments and the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything special. It was our 23rd anniversary, which we shared with her. That apparently wasn’t communicated to our server. It left me feeling a little underwhelmed with the overall experience compared to my previous visit.

    First thing: they wanted to charge us for bread. At an Italian restaurant. We have been going to Italian restaurants our whole lives (I’m 1/2 Italian) and I’ve never come across one that wants you to pay for bread. Second thing: When I ordered the pasta bolognese there was a $4 option to add a meatball so I did. It wasn’t even the size of a golf ball. Any other place where you pay extra for a meatball it’s huge. Not this place. Third thing: service was terrible. Waiter even apologized for not checking in with us enough. And lastly: Everything was WAY overpriced. Bottom line: Don’t waste your time or money at this place. There are WAY too many other options nearby.

Our bread is locally made daily delivered to us from a crafty bakery- served with premium extra virgin olive oil and cultured Vermont butter. The meatballs are made with veal -and not beef- handcrafted and the sauce hand milled . While certainly not inexpensive , our prices are very much in line with the market , the quality of the product we proudly craft and serve and the full benefits we offer to our employees .

    Lovely dinner with work colleagues. Waitress offered two half portions when I couldn’t decide. Cost more, but a nice west to try two dishes.
