Waited 20 minutes to be seated despite our reservation. Waitress asked if we wanted bread 3 times before bringing any - seemed to busy to pay attention to us. Drinks were VERY overpriced.

Very good food, friendly service. It was really loud, but we went on a Friday night during restaurant week, so...

Our reserved table was not available when we arrived on time. Chicken was over cooked. Overall the food was good but not of the quality expected for the level of restaurant. The server, who was very good, seemed to be covering too many tables. Some food arrived from the kitchen very late and out of order. I would not recommend that people eat here for special occasions.

The food was quite good but the booth was uncomfortably small. If we go back we will try a table.

One of my favorites! Via Toscana was warm and inviting. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. A hidden gem. A delightful evening with friends at a restaurant that is easy to recommend. We will be back!

We always enjoy what we eat here, but we don't have consistently great service. When it's good, it's really good, and the reverse is also true. We recently dined between 7:45 and 9:15 on a Friday evening. The bar and wait staff appeared busy resetting empty tables, bussing dishes, and doing close-down tasks even as our later courses arrived very slowly, with no explanation for the delay, other than finally hearing "I'll get those desserts for you right now" almost 15 minutes after our entree dishes had been cleared, surrounded by mostly-vacant tables.
On this occasion, two of us dined from the prix fixe menu for Boulder Restaurant week, which was a great way to affordably enjoy several menu items, but the joy of the value was eclipsed by frustratingly inattentive service.

This has to be the quietest, i.e. most pleasant restaurant around. We were in a small, intimate room with heavy decoration that absorbed sound. So great that WE could converse in a quiet manner and yet hear each other. So lacking anywhere else around. Service was excellent, food just average. Will return many times .

I had the most incredible experience here for my 31st birthday a week or so ago. My husband and I always go to Boulder for birthday dinner, but this year I wanted to try somewhere new and being pregnant doesn't make life any easier. I've been missing my east coast Italian heritage food. I've not found something in Boulder County that compares to back home in CT / NYC area. Anyway, the entire dining experience was superb. I had a special menu that said happy birthday printed out waiting for us from the hostess. She let us pick where we wanted to sit which was great, I chose the front section that was secluded and romantic. The server was well versed in the menu and I also was able to find gluten free options in abundance. The gluten free bread was locally sourced and the pasta was impeccable for GF pasta. The dish was so rich and delicious you wouldn't even know. My husband loved his meal and we can't wait to go back and eat here more regularly not just for date night or special occasions. I'm impressed guys! Thanks for making my birthday special.

I enjoyed the dinner and the menu had many different flavor options. I was disappointed by some of the items, our appetizer was dry and risotto was undercooked. I'd try it again, it seemed like it could be a fun date night.

Came for business meal. Great recommendations, service and food. Food was reasonable. And they have a full (interesting) GF menu. Can easily accommodate for all dietary issues and better yet would be happy to do that. I will definitely be going back.

We had a large party of 7 with 5 adults and 2 young children. We had a great meal, wonderful service and an overall wonderful time. Unlike many newer restaurants the noise level is at a pleasant level so one can easily have conversations with other members of their party. It’s a great place.

This was the first visit where I wasn't 100% happy. The Caesar salad had too much dressing and the crab cakes looked like they were thrown on the plate and was surprised to see they were fried, and very lackluster in flavor. The vodka pasta was good but would switch out the seafood for chicken, which is totally personal preference. As for dessert, loved the tiramisu and would highly recommend it.

This was my second time to this restaurant and I just love the food, especially since I have Celiac. The menu has so many offerings and you never feel deprived here. Especially love the warm gluten free bread that is served, such a delight.
Was disappointed in the wait staff this time. The guy was not helpful in suggestions or offerings and acted like he was doing us a favor, which is such a contrast to the first time. The girl that waited on us the first time was excellent and knew everything about all the gluten free offerings and made selections and great suggestions for wines.
Great place to dine and the ambiance is lovely...very romantic.

We were celebrating our 30th Anniversary and it was a perfect place to go. Our waiter, Chris, was extremely knowledgeable about the 'old world' wine list and help us in selecting one of the best wines we have ever had. It went perfect with both our choices for dinner. The dinner was excellent and we savored every bite.

Four of us celebrated both a birthday and anniversary one early evening. Our server was attentive and the food delicious. Gluten free options included wonderful bread, gluten-free pasta, and a delicious gluten-free dessert of polenta chocolate cake...much lighter than most flourless chocolate cakes. Wish they were open for lunch, but we love early dinner there - open at 4:00, because it's very quiet then. We will be back!!

Friends recommended this restaurant to me in the past, and it didn't disappoint!!
I have Celiac and so it is difficult to go into restaurants and eat.
This restaurant had amazing food, great selection of choices and even gluten free fresh out of the oven bread.
What a great evening out!
And incredibly knowledgeable staff regarding each food selection.
I think I found my new favorite restaurant.
