Really good meals at a fair price for value. The Ragu of meals is a personal favorite and not something that you find at other Italian restaurants. The chicken orzo soup is a great starter as was the Caesar salad and finishing off with the layered crepe cheesecake made for an excellent meal. Another plus is that we have friends with allergies who need to eat gluten free and there are multiple options and the chefs take great care - they have never had a cross contamination issue.
It was our first time dining at Via and everything was wonderful.
We were seated in a small room in the back by a window - great spot.
Our servers, Amelia and Faya were superb.
every course from appetizer (PLT) to entrees and dessert were perfect.
can't wait to go back!!
Regular menu items are sometimes varied in the prep which some may like, I prefer my standard dishes to remain same. One of my favorite items, beef braciole, is not as good as previous visits. No longer served in a hot skillet and meat was tough and dry, not pounded thin and tender. Very popular spot, not really sure why, food is average. But,,,,, it is fun to people watch.
Our group of six went to celebrate a birthday. Lovely table, away from the crowd. Food never disappoints. Loved my beet salad and seafood orchiette! Service was attentive but not rushed. Would absolutely recommend. Go Pats!
A wonderful place to enjoy company, food was great, beer & wine selection is awesome,
Atmosphere is very energetic, friendly and exciting. The service was timely. We have been going here for a while as a central location to meet with my brother (West Hartford) and sister (Peabody) and me (Medfield). My recommendation is to check ahead with your reservation, as we had to wait 30 minutes because they thought we had a party for 4, not 6! They confessed it was for 6, just a slip up and apologized. All in all, we'll be back!
Service was very good. Waitress was adorable and friendly. made us feel very comfortable.
This was my third trip to Via and I will be coming back again.
Great night out with family.!
Zac, our server, was outstanding. The suggested wine was perfect.
We had a fantastic time. Food was delicious & food presentation was pleasing. Our server Emily, was friendly/attentive/professional. Loved the Gelato Sampler & the "Flight of Bubbles" offering. We celebrated my sister's birthday & the whole experience was a real treat!
Great experience! Went for my moms birthday!
Consistently good food and service.
Never disappointed. Freshly prepared food.
Based on the two other properties (Sole and Chop House), I was expecting more. Service was lack-luster, food was decent but overall nothing spectacular and ambiance was just not at the level I was expecting, given the menu pricing. I had the bucatini bolignese, my husband had the salmon and we shared the calamari. The bucatini was the best of the three... not the typical heavy red sauce, which was refreshing. The salmon was dry and the calamari was on par with any run-of-the-mill Italian chain. We'll certainly be back to Sole and Chop House, but for my money, Dino's is the better choice for Italian in Worcester.
the food was delicious, everyone in our party enjoyed their entrees.
The food is always the star at Via, from the pasta like nothing you have had ( including the North End) to the Surf and Turf (a triple combo of pasta, steak and lobster, unreal!) To the incredible service ( big shout out to our man Zac) we are never disappointed and more times than not surprised by something new and different.
I haven't been to Via in over a year. I forgot how overpriced the entries are for the amount of food you get. I mean, it taste good, but $26.99 for chicken piccata that consists of 1/2 - 3/4 of a chicken breast, 5 small cherry tomatoes and a not so generous portion of broccolini. That's a bit much. And what Italian restaurant upcharges you for pasta?
The physical location is very nice. The hostess greeted us with enthusiasm. Our server was slow to come to greet us though.
I appreciate all your restaurant group does, but honestly I won't be back.
Food quality and quantity outstanding. Service excellent
We have gone to VIA for many occasions but this was our first for brunch. Can't believe it took us so long it was amazing great selection and as always really good food
We had a great time with even better service! Scallops were just amazing and will come back just for them!!
Via is one of our favorite spots! We hadn't been there in quite some time and it still doesn't disappoint! The food is also fresh and flavorful. We had a wonderful waitress, Trista (I believe). We tried the homemade ricotta and it was fabulous. Having tried a lot on the menu, we opted for the surf, turf and pasta. Delicious!
Via does not disappoint!
The experience at VIA is what it's about. The food is of course, to perfection, and the service is impeccable. The atmosphere is bustling but it didn't feel crowded or rushed. My only suggestion is that I wish they had a menu section of food on the lighter side. It's all good - but it's all big food. The three of us ended up taking home appetizers and enough of each of our entrees for two more meals at home. I'd rather have smaller portions and be able to taste a few more options.
I met an associate for a dinner meeting but everything was so great, we were overwhelmed by the food and overall ambiance. So much for work! We will surely return soon. Everything was superior.
Great atmosphere, inside & patio. Food is delicious - their porchetta is the absolute best!
Excellent food excellent open kitchen excellent staff
We were seated quickly. Unfortunately, we had to be moved. The hostess wasn't paying attention, as she wanted to seat two large men in a tiny booth that was very uncomfortable. Another person put us at a table that was comfortable. Beyond the minor snafu, the service was good and the food was authentic Italian. I had the bolognese, which tasted as good as what I experience in Bologna, IT. Looking forward to revisiting them.
I was not too impressed with the pricing and the food. I had eggplant parm and did not like the pollenta that came with it. I would have preferred pasta. Service was very good though
New Year's Eve. Very, very noisy. Overbooked: had to wait 20 min beyond reserved time for table. Food was good, not great, waiter was annoying, reasonable price.
Great service, great food. I was a little annoyed that we weren't seated until 20 minutes after our reservation time, but I'm glad the restaurant is busy and doing well. YUM.
Thanks for the gluten free accommodation!
Went to Via for New Years Eve. The restaurant was very busy but everything went smoothly.
The service and food were right on and the atmosphere was festive.
Have eaten at Via many times and look forward to coming back.
Both the veal scallopini and the surf and turf were terrific. Although the servers were excellent, they were a little too attentive and speedy. Overall, an excellent experience.
Everything was perfect
We continue to come back to VIA. Never disappointed. We went for a pre-New Year's Eve date. Prompt and friendly servers. My husband always enjoys the mozzarella appetizer. He also had the lobster risotto which was amazing!! Finished the meal with dessert.( Yes saved room for the Tiramisu. ) Will definitely recommend to others to try.
Great atmosphere, friendly service and tasty food. Keep the levels!
Again net friends and were pleased with all. Young girls loved ice cream samples
Chef was great the night we were there. Nice wine choices. Always a solid choice when choosing to go out.
A Worcester favorite. Reliable food and service-- will not disappoint.
This was my first time at Via and it was lovely. I was there with two girlfriends to celebrate together for the Christmas holiday. The atmosphere was vibrant and buzzing with activity since many people were there doing the same thing. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and had a wonderful vibe. Because they were so busy, we were delayed by about 30 minutes to be seated so they offered us a free shrimp cocktail appetizer and even a glass of wine! Excellent service and it shows that they care about their patrons, which is not so common anymore. I am looking forward to going back with my husband!
My wife and I eat out on average 2 to 3 nights a week and frequent some really nice restaurants. Unfortunately, VIA left us unimpressed. Our table for two was crammed next to a party of six, however the ambiance wasn't entirely terrible. Prices were definitely above average for the quality and portions of food. The staff and parking attendants were all very nice and courteous. The VIA Italian Table certainly isn't on our top 5, but will probably give it another chance at some point.
We enjoyed our dinner, and the food is always GREAT there! The waiter we had was awesome. His name is Greg, and when we go back we will ask for him:-)
