Have eaten there many times. the food is always good, but, this Wednesday night, it was way off. My Osso Buco sauce was not quite as good as usual, but, the meat was tough and not seasoned well. A friend had the Osso buco also and his comments was as mine. Another had the Osso Buco ravioli which was very greasy. I still am going back soon.

Post-Christmas / Pre New Years night out with Son visiting from DC, daughter from LA This was our first visit to Via Emilia, and it was simply outstanding. Each of us totally enjoyed our meals: Red Snapper, Chilean Sea Bass, Tilapia, and Pork Tenderloin Medallions. Appetizers included Bruschetta and Calamari. Wine Selection was extensive, as were the write-ups on each, provided via an iPad. Server Stephen was great, as were his wine recommendations. Very nice, live piano. Will definitely return. Very high recommendation.

Our favorite restaurant in The Woodlands. Always excellent Northern Italian food and great service. We went Wednesday night which is half price bottles of Italian wine from their excellent wine list. The pork shank and Osso Buco were prepared perfectly and our shared desert of Limoncello topped the meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

We love Via Emilia for the great atmosphere, professional staff, and consistently super food. Their marinara sauce puts everyone else to shame. Try the pollo alla parmesana and taste for yourself the region’s best version of this classic dish

What an exceptional experience.. As lovers of Italian food, we can attest that Via Emelia brings you directly to the flavors and ambiance of Tuscany.. Our eggplant lasagna and osso bucco were delicious and the staff couldn't have made us feel more special... Thanks for a wonderful evening and dinner

We were a family of 5. All the dishes were very salty except for the salad. The salad we had the dressing on the side so could add very little of the dressing If you like lots of salt this is the place to go to. The ambiance is a little tried and need to be refreshed. I would not go back nor recommend this restaurant.

After first visiting the "brother" restaurant in Tulsa, OK, Villa Ravenna, about 4 years ago, we finally made it to the original brother's restaurant in The Woodlands, Via Emilia. We were not disappointed. The Spaghetti alla Carbonara, for which we drove from Katy to try, was outstanding as was the Calamari Fritti. We all had fish dishes (Chilean Sea Bass and Red Snapper alla Griglia) and they were all excellent, served hot and perfectly cooked with wonderful sauces. Outstanding service, wine and the authentic atmosphere made the evening very memorable. I was pleasantly surprised that Via Emilia exceeded my expectations.

1st time we have eaten here, and we came because of the reviews we saw online. This place has amazing wines, great food and good service. Prices were fair, similar to other upscale restaurants in the Woodlands. We will definitely go back when we want good Italian food.

Very disappointing- we made reservations and waited 30 minutes. Was given a cramped table in a poor traffic spot for 4.
Manager on duty was willing to move us for desert. Too late. One party member was with injury and the standing and moving from the uncomfortable spot would have been with great physical pain.
Still thinking what was the purpose of making reservations? Especially when we had to wait in cramped active entry. We weren't the only ones waiting. There were opens tables seem - which was of concern.
We will return - with hopes of no repeat.
Our waiter and food was outstanding as always.

The back of Woodlands has few competitive very nice restaurants. This place has nice piano live music, good Italian food, but is not on time with reservations, and, without music, a bit overpriced.

The manager was so kind to us. He could tell it was just a date night for my husband and I and the only table available for our reservation at the time was right next to a large party. He wanted to make sure our entire dining experience was perfect. So he escorted us to the bar for a glass of wine on the house while we waited for a more appropriate table to become available and prepared for us. It was a kind gesture in return for the wait.

The service was excellent and the food amazing. We shared a grilled octopus appetizer. It was delicious. I could have had it for an entree. The pork shank is delicious but lots of food. The carmilized apple on onion topping was especially good. A great compliment to the pork.

Had Oslo bucco again. It’s all I’ve ordered last 4-5 visits. It could be even more tender in my view though it wasn’t an issue. The little pile of spaghetti seemed like an afterthought. Very boring.
Bread pudding outstanding.
Our waiter had more than he could handle. Too many tables I guess. He did make effort however.
