Via Emilia - The Woodlands Ratings and Reviews
My experience was awful. Next time I visit, I will make sure I don’t make a reservation prior because they don’t even use these to hold tables - we go quite often and we even had to wait an hour for a table, ended up sitting at the bar. We will not be returning for a while.
Went here for date night/birthday for my wife. Absolutely amazing food! The wait staff was attentive, the atmosphere was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was packed on a Saturday evening but we didn't feel cramped. With that many people the noise level was elevated but we didn't have to shout to hear each other. The wine selection is massive and has something for every taste and price point. I would highly recommend the restaurant.
LOVE Via Emilia. One of our favorite Woodlands restaurant. The return of Omar makes Via Emilia that much better. He's the best waiter ever. He, not only is the best waiter, he REMEMBERS us even after we haven't been to the restaurant for a while. That's nice.
Have eaten there many times. the food is always good, but, this Wednesday night, it was way off. My Osso Buco sauce was not quite as good as usual, but, the meat was tough and not seasoned well. A friend had the Osso buco also and his comments was as mine. Another had the Osso Buco ravioli which was very greasy. I still am going back soon.
Post-Christmas / Pre New Years night out with Son visiting from DC, daughter from LA This was our first visit to Via Emilia, and it was simply outstanding. Each of us totally enjoyed our meals: Red Snapper, Chilean Sea Bass, Tilapia, and Pork Tenderloin Medallions. Appetizers included Bruschetta and Calamari. Wine Selection was extensive, as were the write-ups on each, provided via an iPad. Server Stephen was great, as were his wine recommendations. Very nice, live piano. Will definitely return. Very high recommendation.
Our favorite restaurant in The Woodlands. Always excellent Northern Italian food and great service. We went Wednesday night which is half price bottles of Italian wine from their excellent wine list. The pork shank and Osso Buco were prepared perfectly and our shared desert of Limoncello topped the meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
What an exceptional experience.. As lovers of Italian food, we can attest that Via Emelia brings you directly to the flavors and ambiance of Tuscany.. Our eggplant lasagna and osso bucco were delicious and the staff couldn't have made us feel more special... Thanks for a wonderful evening and dinner
We were a family of 5. All the dishes were very salty except for the salad. The salad we had the dressing on the side so could add very little of the dressing If you like lots of salt this is the place to go to. The ambiance is a little tried and need to be refreshed. I would not go back nor recommend this restaurant.
