This is a very nice restaurant, service is always very good, although sometimes a bit slow.
Had dinner with friends on a Thursday evening with friends, Ordered the lasagna which should be a no brainer for an Italian restaurant. The pasta was mushy, covered with a sauce that was only adequate. Could not find the meat or cheese. Not as good as frozen Lasagna bought at the grocery store. I did not complain to our waiter, or manager because I did not want to change the mood of the evening, however The Republic Grill at Panther Creek serves a Lasagna that is excellent. Please take note Via Emelia.
I will go back as I genuinely like the restaurant but they can do better.
Via Emilia is the best Italian restaurant in the Houston area, hands down. Everything I have ever had there has been perfect.
Great food, great service and personal attention from the owner/manager. A true oasis in the desert of chain restaurants.
Fantastic experience as usual. Cole took great care of us.
Great food, innovative and fresh recipes with outstanding service!
The grilled octopus was soft and fishy. It was awful! The black mussels were not fresh and salty. We waited 30 mns for our entrees. Totally lost appetite :-(
Wonderful food, service, ambiance and music. A very enjoyable experience.
Bill was steep. Overcharged us on the wine which I did not catch until too late. $36 in wine list. $40 in bill. Both couples order a bottle of wine. The other couple already had full wine glasses from the bar. What does the waiter do? He keeps me waiting with an empty glass and opens their bottle first.
From the time you enter, the service is 5 Star. The hostess seated us immediately, our server Mauricio was kind, informative and attentive. The food is the best in all of The Woodlands. Being from N.Y. my standards for Italian food are quite high, this place exceeds standards.
Love it! Everything a fine restaurant should be..
Always a good venue for Italian dining in The Woodlands and even on this Monday night.
We’ve been to Via Emilia many times, but this time it was especially good. Everything was delicious, and the salad ingredients were the best ever. Our waiter, Roberto, was attentive without being intrusive. In a word...perfetto!
We returned to Via Emelia knowing we would have a great experience, and were not disappointed. The antipasti course was amazing (cheeses, figs, tomatoes and salad) and the red snapper was perfectly prepared and served moist and hot. The veal and mushroom ravioli was very rich and will challenge anyone to finish this perfectly prepared course. We shared the cannoli which had drizzled chocolate on it, happy we had selected Via Emelia for Easter Brunch.
Always enjoy the ambiance, service and good food at Via Emilia's!
Party of 6. Excellent service and food. Definitely a repeat.
Off menu specials were fantastic! Desserts were house made.
Great italian restaurant close to home!
Food is excellent. We had a new waiter who needs additional training.
Good but pricey.
Authentic Italian food, homemade pasta, excellent service
Tried something different for our appetizer. Salmone Affumicato. Smoked Salmon.
Absolutely perfect and melted in my mouth. Beautiful presentation and flavor combinations.
Best Italian restaurant in Montgomery County. Surprised my dad by taking him to a nice Italian restaurant. He wasn't expecting such a Nice restaurant. Even though I tricked him a little to get him there, he raved and raved! Our waiter, Mark I believe, was friendly and knowledgeable. He was astute enough to recognize my dad's unease, and quickly had my dad feeling right at home. My absolute favorite for Italian!
Great food! Great Service. A little load for a fine dining establishment.
Great service
Great restaurant. Food was excellent. Only a couple of options for red wines under $60/bottle!!! Too much $$. We were not paying the tab so did not feel right to order higher priced wine.
This was our first visit to Via Amelia. We will visit again. The good far outweighed the negative. We loved the lighting.... low and romantic. The piano was great and great song choice. Drink choices were very good.... took awhile to get our drinks (20 minutes). Bread is so delicious!
The Proscuttio wrapped figs were amazing. We are Italian and usually fix our own Italian dishes, but we have been to Via Emilia's several times. Our server Roberto was very knowledgeable with both menu and wine list and made several good suggests
Piano was nice, but too loud for the size of the place.
Cosmo was delicious. Food was okay, but we did not care for the red sauce. Our waiter, Cole was pleasant and very attentive.
The food was so outstanding and, of course, we could not have had any better service. The staff was so thoughtful.
The food is too salty
This restaurant’s cuisine matches some of the best Italian fare in NYC or Milan. Authentic, well executed. Service was outstanding with manager offering changes to menu items to accommodate my wife’s allergies . Overall good value for money given the exceptional quality. We’ll be back
One of our favorite places. Never disappointed with any of the wonderful Italian food options.
A great dining experience with friends. The friends were impressed as first time patrons. 🍷🍷
Extensive wine selection, service was over the top, we enjoyed the piano and the food was tasty. I have to say the bread was amazing! We will go back but not on a Friday during lent. So many other dishes I want to order
We always enjoy our time at via Emilia ..
The waitstaff are always friendly , food is good and wine recommendations are much appreciated ..
Another wonderful evening of delicious food and quality service. Also enjoyed the pianist.
We had an awful experience here last Sunday evening. Two of us got there a little before our reservation time and no one came to take a drink or appetizer order which was really disappointing. We didn’t even get water for 15 minutes. When the other couple arrived, we sat for another 15 minutes without anyone approaching the table. We were right next to the entrance where managers were congregated. I finally got up from my seat to say we hadn’t seen a server. It was another 10 minutes until they found someone. Once we finally ordered, it took a very long time for our food. The poor service continued, water glasses not refilled, didn’t check back in with us. The food was good, but the night was ruined. We won’t be going back. So disappointed.
Usually good food and service but not this time. One of two appetizers was cold. Lasagna was luke warm, Alfredo cold. Our waiter has 8-9 tables and was stretched too thin to give prompt attention. Very disappointing.
Excellent service and very authentic Italian food. The best in The Woodlands.
Another great meal.. They never disappoint.
Very good food, service, & ambience. Been many times. Always consistent
