I really appreciate being able to dine in the outdoor parklet. Corso makes an effort for a pleasant experience, even on a very cold Berkeley night -- love those heaters! Our waiter provided great service, thoroughly attentive but not obtrusive, great timing for the course, had great recommendations for wines to accompany our meal, and advice to best position our seats to benefit from the heater.

We were seated almost sitting IN The KITCHEN We had reservations and asked for a different table, We asked for a different table. They had 22 tops, but wouldn’t push them together for us. We saw later that a party of three came in, and they pushed it together for them The noise was incredible Food was very good

Since the new ownership I may have chosen poorly, I don’t know. I had the Caesar-ish butter leaf salad that was just plainly too vinagary. Edible but not enjoyable. For my main I had the pasta with Dungeness crab and perfectly cooked fresh pasta was lovely, but the sauce was too much. It was intense and muddy, and hid the flavors of the beautiful ingredients. It wasn’t pleasant. My friends loved their fish and bread soup and octopus.

My husband & I brought our daughter in for a post flight meal. All the food was exceptional; we have been in a few times and are never disappointed- she was in love with the spinach salad, the burrata cheese, and both of the pasta dishes we ordered. Also, dessert as always (pistachio panna cotta and chocolate cake) were amazing. Our server was also fun and friendly. We highly recommend dining here!

we LOVE this restaurant; there is NOTHING that is even a bit problematic. the servers are professional and on the ball and good communicators. the food is outstanding every single time! there is a nice wine list and the menu rotates with seasonal dishes. the outside parklet is warm and pleasant...wonderful dining experience and of course we will return many times!

I was underwhelmed by the food. The desserts were great, the soup and salad were good, but my entree was bland. Just nothing to get excited about. (I had the pasta dish with ground pork.) My wife's sea bass was good. Service was great, I like the atmosphere, and I have to admit that the prices are a bit higher than I usually pay, so that may have made me more critical. And it could be that I should have ordered better. I'll add that our dinner companions loved their meal. The dining room is very loud, we had to speak at high volume to be heard, and I worried that the couple at the next table was being forced to hear our conversation. Overall, we had a lovely night out because of the friends we ate with and the enthusiastic service, but I was hoping my meal would deliver tastes that knocked my socks off. That was only true of the desserts, which were also beautifully plated (as was the sea bass).

Even though we had a reservation, it took a half hour to get seated. It seems a lot of people dine and hangout for hours. Hey the drinks are good! Food was tastey and the service was great

While this restaurant isn’t all time, favorite, I did not love my food the other night. The pasta sauce was too spicy for what it was and the appetizers were nothing special. The polenta was delicious and my friends did love their food but I miss some of the old dishes that used to be on the menu and I wish they would put them back on.

Chose Via del Corso to celebrate a special birthday, and I was not disappointed. Started with martinis that were perfectly mixed, chilled, and served in appropriately sized glasses. Enjoyed the burrata and prosciutto appetizer - everything tasted super fresh. My friend enjoyed the beet salad, which had a delicious dressing. We both enjoyed the branzino entree, which if there was any criticism of our meal, would have been better served with less sauce. On to desserts, where I had the best cheesecake, I think I have ever eaten. It was not overly sweet nor heavy. The restaurant was packed, but the service was spot on. We will be back!

Truly a neighborhood gem! We had an outstanding dinner (branzino for me, prime porterhouse for the hubster). Also enjoyed the Ruse cocktail special. It was as good as the original Corso that we loved. Service was attentive and friendly. The only downside was that it was got pretty loud as it filled up.

Outdoor parklet was very noisy on street- traffic, buses, sirens, foot traffic by table at dinner. Service slow at start but improved during meal Food was good- but lacked the specialness of the old Corso. Manager was very friendly and caring

A fitting and more than decent successor to Corso, our local go-to spot for the 10 years that we lived in Berkeley. Ambience much the same, excellent menu and well executed. Highlight was being served by Corso era staff member, Alexis.

This place is amazing, I grew up with good Italian food and when I tell you that this place knows it’s food and it makes it perfectly I am not lying to you, this was one of the better experiences I have ever had. Took my girlfriend here for our first date and she really enjoyed everything as well. Also should mention that we both are legally blind and blind, and they were extremely accessible friendly and described where they put everything on the table. We will definitely be going back :-).

My partner and I have been wanting to go to Corso ever since we moved to berkeley earlier this year! It did NOT disappoint! Incredibly kind and knowledgeable wait staff, ammmmaaazing wine list and the menu was perfectly curated, it was just too good. We will definitely be returning!

Crowded and loud but sufficiently attentive service, great food - just pricier than I’d expected. Small beet salad with LOTS of endive, 8 ravioli, a small ice cream dish for a scoop - 3 people $250 no alcohol.

Nice, enjoyable dinner. The food is interesting; tasty and well presented. I appreciate that they offer carafes of wine--rather than a full bottle. We went a bit earlier in the evening, so the noise level was better. It can be noisy when full. Servers were attentive and pleasant--and not over-bearing.
