   Four of us went to dinner we were seated promptly service was fabulous. Food was definitely delicious. All four of us loved everything we had, and we definitely would go again recommend it highly

   A very good neighborhood restaurant with above average food preparation and taste. A good range of choices of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine reasonably priced. The portions are very good sized, we both took leftovers home. The service was good, attentive staff and professional. The restaurant space is small so the staff can easily track the tables and their progress.

   Hostess pleasant and accommodating. Reservation on time. Extremely loud and hard to hold a conversation. Tables very small barely holding glasses and bottles. Bread was like wonder bread served with no butter or oil. We have outstanding bakeries in this area. Entrees lacked character and or flavor. Portions small for the price. We wanted to like this restaurant but won’t be back.

    What fantastic NEW spot! The service was amazing. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. There is something on the menu for everyone. I highly recommend trying Via 417.

    everything was wonderful, from service, appetizers, salads, entrees to dessert. first time and all 5 people enjoyed everything. place was packed and a little noisy but full of energy. the service was A++. look forward to going back

    2nd time visiting. This time we took the mom’s out for Mother’s Day dinner. Great meal and service. All were happy, satisfied, and full. Love the BYOB aspect to keep the bill down.

    First the bad: made a reservation for Sunday brunch 3 weeks in advance of Mother’s Day. Got a call 5 days ahead of the reservation that there would be no brunch served, only the dinner menu. Reason given was that it was going to be very busy. Not really believing that since the place was less than half full early afternoon. Maybe trying to up the cost of the tab which was over $300 with tip? Also the appetizers are way overpriced . Six little pieces of Calamari for $13 Also the cheese board @ $17 was skimpy with brown not green grapes. Lastly when we arrived they said they didn’t have a reservation for six under that name. We showed them the open table confirmation. What’s up with that? They called me to tell me that they weren’t serving brunch!! On a positive note the pasta main dishes were good and plentiful and the wait staff was terrific. Overall two and a half stars. With two other well established Italian places in Jenkintown I wish them good luck.

    Once again, every member of the staff was attentive and incredibly hardworking. The food could not be better, and the chef creatively prepares off-menu vegan options. Definitely 5 stars!

    First time here, appetizers of octopus and calamari were very good. My entree was ziti puttanesca and I enjoyed it - took half home. The veal saltimbucca was just ok - smothered in cheese, would not get again. BYOB which is always nice. Service was fine. Overall, a good restaurant but not great and would probably not go back.

    The restaurant looks very nice and the service was great. The onion soup was delicious. The branzino tasted good, but I've enjoyed it more in other restaurants. It tasted more liked broiled fish here. The risotto was very good. The capellini scampi tasted good, but it was a small portion for the price, not many shrimp or much crabmeat. We're hoping things will improve as we live in the area and would enjoy anew place to go.

    Great discovery in our own back yard! Nice staff, excellent food. Had beet salad, veal roll-ups, and cavatelli with sausage. Had let them know it was our anniversary and they gave us a delicious custard dessert with a candle! Highly recommended.

    We enjoyed our dinner of fried gnocchi appetizer, cappellini scampi, substitute for gluten-free linguine…and the linguine vongole(clams), with garlic butter… And the dessert was pretty nice also. Great lighting and quiet calm atmosphere our server was really great, Roula… but the parking situation there is quite difficult and my friend ended up with a ticket! Oh Jenkintown!! It was right on old York Road… at 9:20 PM… Park carefully!

    This was our second visit to Via 417 and once again, it was excellent. The food and service were superior. I had the tuna tartar appetizer for a second time and it was very good with a large portion of tuna. We found the prices very reasonable for the high quality food. The first time we went, it was a bit noisy but this time, it was less crowded and not noisy at all. It’s nice to have such a high quality restaurant in our neighborhood.

    The Via Chicken was very good. I did mention to , I believe was the owner’s wife that some of the pasta ( penne) was hot and some Luke warm. All should have Benny hot like the chicken and the perfectly cooked shrimp.
