Vetri Cucina, Las Vegas
The food is not good here. Service is good.
Outstanding. Philadelphia style blended with a very classy Las Vegas twist. The service left us with the feeling that the entire staff really cared about ensuring that the guests had a truly superior dining experience, not simply because they were well trained for it, but because they each really wanted it to be so. We could hear other nearby parties expressing similar thoughts amongst themselves. The entire space is exceptionally well done and the views of the entire Las Vegas strip from the 56th floor of the Palms are stunningly unmatched compared to other LV restaurants. Inside is modern chic without any unnecessary glitz or gimmicks, creating a very genuine feel of a boutique style restaurant and does not feel at all thematically formulaic like many so called celebrity-chef “hot spots” around town. The food is amazing in a way that is authentic while at the same time, unique. If you are a patron of the namesake restaurant in Philadelphia, you will recognize and be delighted by many of the famous staple dishes, and have some amazing new creations to try. The a-la-carte rather than tasting menu format is also a fun twist, but remember to pace yourself (our party of 2 had 4 pastas between the appetizers and main course-fortunately we arrived hungry). Have dessert. Even if you think you are full, you can’t go wrong. The ricotta gelato with dark chocolate, candied orange, and olive oil is an amazing treat for the eyes and taste buds. This is how to dine out.
Best view in Vegas. Best in class service. Authentic menu.
Fabulous view of Las Vegas lights from the 56th floor if the Palms, and an equally matched ambiance. Excellent customer service, with a unique menu. The bread and pasta are homemade and actually milled in the kitchen; which is below the restaurant. Vetri Cucina is a grand experience from start to finish.
I loved it here. It was expensive. The quality was top notch and food was perfection. If you like smaller portions that are full over flavor this is the spot for you!
Food is AMAZING!
The portions were extremely small
Let me begin by saying this is my favorite restaurant site in Vegas at the top of The Palms. I was very excited about this new venue and the food was impeccably done but I have several reasons why I left disappointed. The food was well presented, expertly executed, but the portions were minuscule I could not tell what was an appetizer and what was the main course and the pastas were enough for maybe one person to complete. Unfortunately the plates were presented as Family style and placed in the center of the table and so given the size of the portions one felt a little uneasy taking a whole plate for themselves and therefore we all shared a table of six with very small plates of food. Given all that our service was excellent our server very enthusiastic and knowledgeable but in the end I felt that I needed to go and eat something after completing this meal. I have eaten at multiple Italian restaurants throughout the world and this left me wanting. I doubt I’ll be back unless I know that these microplates have been mildly expanded so that one can truly enjoy more than three or four bites of food.
Delicious dinner - we had the vegetarian platter to start (not on the menu) and it was a perfect starter. The pastas are made in house and perfectly cooked. The view is one of the best in the city. Highly recommend!
One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had
I couldn’t wait for Michael vetri to arrive in Las Vegas. Dinner at his philly restaurant was one of the best meals I have ever had. I hope it gets better. The menu was ok but no sign at all of his dedication to fresh food. Perhaps the desert makes it hard? The veggie starter was fine but not special, the Cacio e pepe so salty we couldn’t eat it and the grilled seafood just ok. We will give it another go, but I know you can and will do better!!
A bit expensive, we had the lobster pasta, very good, Sea Bass for two Delicious, we had the tart euro honey gelato/ice cream good, for sure not the best I had buy good enough
Had 3 separate pastas and all were delicious. Incredibly so.
What a wonderful find in a city of often over priced, under delivered options. The staff was very attentive and the food superb.
This restaurant does not have good food--there is something lacking in everything they serve. Even the water on the table was luke warm with no ice.. There were very few entrees--and two had to be shared. Including a $200.00 ribeye steak. We love to eat out and try new things but this was very disappointing. Good view though.
AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE
Excellent food and service! Great view of Las Vegas
Great authentic North Italian food with impeccable service and outstanding views.
A regular at Philadelphia Vetri this was a great treat excellent across the board
this was a very very good dining experience. from the welcome to the door and the service and cuisine. can't wait to return
There was three of us that dined at Vetri. The view was amazing; we sat on the enclosed patio area. It was dark since it is winter time but the lights were beautiful.
The service was also amazing. The server along with her assistants were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and very professional.
Now let me say a few words about the food. We started with three appetizers. The appetizers were all very good; foie gras, veal tartare and chickpea panelle.
One of the main reasons for my three star review was the pasta. All of the pasta was Luke warm at best. The chestnut fettuccine with wild boar ragu basically had no sauce. The ragu has pea sized pieces of meat (actually it was rather hard to tell if it was meat). It was very disappointing. We also had the duck ragu pasta with similar results. For the price, I would have expected much more.
My husband and I shared the baby goat. The menu title is rather deceiving, it was a few pieces of meat and not a whole baby goat. Again for the price, I would have expected much more. Our third diner did have a good entree with the seafood misto.
The night we dined, there was a celebrity chef dining next to us with his family. Perhaps all the energy in the kitchen was used on him???
We ate at another Italian restaurant at the Wynn that was 100% better, Cipriani.
Our server Anthony was informative, friendly and enjoyable to talk too. Food was phenomenal! My kids said it was best meal we had in vegas. Looking forward to visiting Vetri in Philly next time we are home.
This was an amazing experience. Expensive, but completely worth it. Our server Anthony knew everything about the menu and made this thoroughly enjoyable. The almond tortellini with shaved Alba truffle was unreal, and the guinea hen had great complex flavor. The Ricotta gelato dessert was hands down the best dessert we had ever had. It really was the perfect dinner, highly recommend.
Excellent quality food. Portions were a little small for the price. Beautiful Las Vegas view, exceptional service. Very similar food to hat we had in Italy for his year.
Dishes are sized and priced like an expensive French restaurant. Food was mediocre but the ambience and view are breath taking. Coop, the bar tender is amazing, hard worker and there to please. I don't see any reason to go back, but glad I experienced once.
Views are amazing and the sweet onion crepe is great!
One and done! Food was lackluster and overpriced. What Italian restaurant doesn’t have meatballs? $95 for two dishes of spaghetti and gelato. Good luck with this place
Beautiful restaurant with great view delicious food and great service
Our server was amazing and made our experience that much better! My wife and I came here celebrating our anniversary and were amazed. We made a custom tasting menu splitting entrees between us with wine pairings for each. There are not enough words to describe the food and tastes that we experienced. You must come and experience a
the atmosphere, service, and food yourself.
Food is northern Italian....savory and uniquely served. The highlights were the restaurant-made bread and pasta, thinly shaved prosciutto , roasted baby goat and guinea hen entrees. Great winelist, excellent service! Huge windows, modern decor with a spectacular view of Las Vegas.
Hostess was amazing, very enthusiastic about the venue
Der erste Eindruck war sehr gut. Ambiente sehr ansprechend. Service ausgezeichnet.
This was our first visit, and we loved it. We will definitely be returning. We initially thought the pricing on the pasta dishes was a bit high, but after tasting each one, we now know why, as each was perfect in its handmade preparation and flavor profile. We can't wait to try some other options on our next visit.
A truly euphoric dining experience. Exceptional service and outstanding food. Would recommend to anyone staying in Las Vegas
Good food and great view. Not your typical Italian food. Unusual and great flavors. The Branzino cooked in salt was one of the best we have ever had in the United States.
Food was excellent; however, I’d like more than 7 tortellinis for $30 and there is not much on the wine list for less than $100, nor will they let you bring in your own bottle of wine. Bread was cold too. They will have to adapt to survive here as there are way too many good restaurant choices for way less money. Learn to give bigger portion sizes and have more wine choices.
Wonderful experience, we loved the food! The atmosphere was so fun and up. We will be back!
Outstanding. The chard ricotta gnocchi were light and perfectly textured. Foie gras terrine with pastrami spices was a smart take on a menu standard. The salt baked branzino is not to be missed. The desserts are works of art.
Very much a meal I won’t forget anytime soon. We ordered 6 things to share and all were outstanding.
