   Was awesome. Kitchen was open wood fired inspirations was unbelievable. Great experience!

   This place is A-mazing!! Drinks, food and ambiance were killer. Steak tartare was unlike any steak tartare I have ever had - seriously to die for!! This place needs to be talked about A LOT more - it's so great!!

   Beautiful handcrafted cocktails, nice wine by the glass, excellent service. It was dine around Seattle, good choices on the menu.

   We discovered Vestal by serendipity looking for an early dinner before the opera. We were incredibly impressed by the young woman who waited on us. She was ready to suggest cocktails, wine and had a thorough knowledge of the menu. Then the food arrived- we were so impressed with the flavor combinations , both small and large plates. We had the pork and sturgeon- both excellent. Why hadn't we heard about this place before? Can't wait to go again.

   We'd been wanting to try Vestal for some time. Loved the ambiance, lighting and decor. Sharp yet casual. Looking forward to summer with their floor to ceiling windows and outdoor tables. Great bartender, very knowledgeable. The grilled bread is perfect! Our server was excellent and so was our meal. We're going back for Dine Around Seattle.

   I made reservations for Friday night in celebration of my wife's 60th birthday, having never been here before. I selected this restaurant from a recent article listing the top 10 restaurants in Seattle. It could not have been made more perfect. Our server, Emma, provided outstanding individual service and was on top of everything. My wife is a cook, and her criteria for eating out is that it must be something that she can not prepare. I had the cedar plank smoked steelhead (incredible- it melted in my mouth) and my wife had the ribeye steak with cherry BBQ sauce, which when served, had been pre-sliced into strips that were not discernable when presented. The oysters were exquisite. The smoky flavor came through in most dishes, and it was brilliant how textures and tastes were intertwined in the dishes. The wine that Emma recommended went perfectly with the meal. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. Vestal easily makes the top ten restaurants that we have ever been to, and this was likewise one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed.

   This is an absolute treasure. The menu is creative, innovative and surprising (in a good way!). We had several food allergy issues in our group but they easily provided us with a fantastic meal. This is the place if you want something exciting and different!

   We went for Valentine's Day and were completely delighted with out experience at Vestal (1st visit). They offered a price fix menu which was all delicious, paired with suggested cocktail and wines. We sat at the bar to watch them prepare everything. All was just splendid!

    Ate at chefs counter. Good shareable plates. Beef carpaccio was great with the puffed (fried) rice, great texture. Reasonable wine list. Wasn't bothered by the 20% auto grattuity
