Had a great time. Food and service were fantastic
Delicious, friendly, elegant and casual. A lovely place to dine and spend time.
Always outstanding. I love their seasonal menus. The Porcetta was one of the best pork dishes I have ever had! And finally someone who knows how to make a great succotash!!
Servers were fantastic and very informative. All our food was delicious and flavorful. Will be going back soon hopefully!
It feels like a place where everyone knows everyone but you’re all hanging out at separate tables. Super cozy and welcoming. Great on tap wine! The pasta was delicious!
Casual neighborhood restaurant with very good food and service and pleasant vibe! Great place to enjoy a meal AND a conversation!
Good neighborhood restaurant for entertaining visitors. Food is good. Ribeye was disappointing - sliced thin and over cooked but sauce and spinach made up for it. Porcetta was amazing.
Vesta is a nice place to visit and eat. There meat and cheese board was good. My girlfriend and I ordered the steak and the lamb ragu. The pasta is great, full of flavor. I wasn't thrilled with the steak I'm not sure if it was the seasoning but it was a little out of my wheelhouse of flavor. Portions are a little below average size but the quality is there.
Really good place. Wine was nice. Food was good. My biggest gripe is that the waiter, whole brining over the wine glasses, literally shattered one right over my girlfriends lap and didn’t try to do anything to make for that. He cleaned it and they moved us but there was no attempt at going above or beyond. Then the appetizer that we had ordered way before the glass incident took 20 mins to materialize. Several people who came after us got their full meals before and the app was just a cheese plate.
I don’t fault people for accidents but the overall service just left a lot to be desired. Not awful but not in keeping with the style of restaurant or the prices they charged.
Loved the atmosphere. It was such a cute spot. Would come here again for sure!!!!
A neighborhood favorite ❤️. The food and service is always excellent. We are never disappointed. We take friends and family from out of town. Everyone agrees Vesta is awesome.
I love Vesta. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. I also loved the music they were playing. The service was a little slow but it was Mother's Day and there were only 2 servers working.
Excellent food - interesting menu! Service was great too. We had a great dinner and will be back!
Small restaurant and great well done and delicious dishes, few option on diner menu. Feel a bit rush by servers but services was nice and fast.
A wonderful little gem with great ambience and delicious food. I've gone for lunch and dinner and have not been disappointed. The pizzas and entrees are creative and delicious. The dessert menu is not big but has a nice variety and the coffee is the best in town!
This is a fairly typical neighborhood place with Pizza and Italian specialties. We picked it because we were going to a play a block away. They have good deals during the 5-7 happy hour, including a hamburger with good fries and a glass of wine or beer for $19.
Friendly service and tasty food with Happy Hour wine and food specials made a first visit to this restaurant a good choice. Recommend by friends in the area, it was the right fit for a good meal pre-theater.
I had the chicken and it was perfectly prepared. My companion had a pasta which he loved. and we had the baby Jesus dessert and it was delicious! If you’re visiting Astoria I’d check out Vesta!
Lovely place to wine and dine. Branzino was just a tad overdone - a tad. The mussels were delicious. Too bad we had to rush to a show down the block ... missed dessert.
We heard very nice things about this restaurant but were disappointed in the food. The wine was good however the salad was too salty and the lasagna was not at all in par with other Italian restaurants. Friendly service but due to the food we would not go back.
Our server was hilarious! My family and I had such a great time! And of course the food was outstanding!
Honestly, probably the best food in all of Astoria. Never fails to be an amazing culinary experience
Everything was great, especially the food and the service. Emanuele and I will definitely be back!
Food was excellent and I loved that we were not rushed. Is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant we were not from the area but everyone was extremely friendly. I will definitely come back with other friends and family.
Had a great time as always- they were very accommodating of my requests!
very good brunch! brought a group of 6 for a family reunion of sorts, everyone loved the menu and i felt it was comfortable without being an "loud sunday brunch" by any means!
Food was great, music was great, and they even had a couple of decent beers.
We live in the neighborhood and had friends in from out of town to celebrate my birthday. They loved the food and the friendly demeanor of the staff. The wine was delicious. Everybody raved about their meals. Everything I’ve ever tried on the menu is out of this world good. We don’t go out all that often but this place is our neighborhood favorite.
I have lived in Astoria for about 5 years now, Vesta is still my favorite restaurant by far. You will not get better food, wine, service or atmosphere anywhere else! It is a very special spot to me and I try to find an excuse to come here as much as possible!!!
They were supposed to open at 11 AM but didn’t open until 12 despite taking the reservation- stay away
It was an amazing V-Day experience! The only that I think Vesta could improve is that the cutlery was a little dirty, though it was understandable given the volume.
Delicious food. Charming place with very attentive service.
Great food and atmosphere. Been here a few times and never disappoints. The meatballs are amazing. Hangover pizza is out of this world good!
Terrible service and food was cold
Food took over an hour and 15 to come out. They were nice and gave us free gelato. Would probably go back.
Vesta never disappoints! We’ve stopped there several times on our way from the city home to Long Island.
Always love the food and wine here
Need a few more healthy options of vegetables and salad to complement the menu; if you like wine go ASAP
Honestly my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. Period. The menu is seasonal, but there are some staples tweaked per the ingredients available. The ambience is casual, but great for a date and a small gathering at the same time. We come here at least once or twice a month. Great wine selection too.
We’ve eaten at Vesta many times, particularly before or after Jets games. They are very close and easy to get to from the stadium. The food is always delicious and the pizza although pricey ($23 for a marguerita with pepperoni) is amazing.
Great food and service. Convenient location. Friendly staff.
