The food is AMAZING! The service was on point! My friend was on a time crunch so she felt as though the staff was not timely enough. I agree that if you are in a hurry, you may not want to eat there. Once we put in our order, our server and staff were on point with picking dirty dishes and checking in on us to ask if anything else was needed. This is one of the best places around!

This was my first time at Vespa but it won't be my last! I went with friends before a concert on the Square. I had booked a table for 2, but had to increase it to 3 at the last minute when another friend (who was performing with the Symphony after dinner) wanted to join us. They went out of their way to find a bigger table for us. The appetizers (roasted carrots + zucchini cakes) and pizza (sausage w/honey and jalapeños) were tremendous and our wines were top notch too. And our server was delightful. Can't wait to go back!

The outdoor seating area in the backyard could benefit from more greenery and a warmer, more inviting atmosphere. Adding a few more plants, perhaps some vines, and even a small water feature could really enhance the space. I also personally enjoy having some music—it would help create a more relaxing ambiance. Regarding the restroom, using it was a bit uncomfortable due to the tight space and the shared alleyway that’s also used by servers moving food to the backyard. I understand space may be limited, but the current setup does create some awkwardness and crowding. It might be worth revisiting this flow to see if there’s a more balanced solution. Lastly, I truly appreciate genuine service. While politeness is always welcome, when it feels overly rehearsed or exaggerated, it can come across as insincere or overly focused on tips. A natural, warm interaction makes a much more lasting impression. Lastly, the food is delicious, presented well so I will go again!!

Such a cute space with 3 different options of dining area. The plates are creative and if you like pizza, you'll love this place!

This was easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Our server was excellent as well. The food is so fresh, the produce top tier, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. For sure my new go-to spot in Redwood City!

A lovely evening at Vesta. Sat outside in perfect weather and enjoyed great food and service. My out of town friends were very impressed!
