Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth, is the most beautiful of Roman divinities, bright and pure like the flame that is her symbol. Latins made Vesta a goddess who personified the earth and fire. She presided over the preparation of meals: Vesta was offered the first food and drink. The hearth conjures up visions of domesticity and peace, for the hearth is the traditional center of family life. It symbolizes warmth, security, and companionship a place for dreaming where it becomes possible by peering into the embers, to find physical and mental renewal and a place to discover the secrets of the future. At Vesta, we have combined these themes to provide a unique dining experience. Vesta is simplicity, quality, comfort, life, art, scent, relaxation, taste, sound, and fun.

Vesta Ratings and Reviews
Delicious meats and the sauces were fabulous. It's really a pleasure to try so many different flavors. The decor is very cool. The only drawback was that it took quite a while to get our drinks after ordering them...about 30 minutes. And it also took quite a while for the dessert - probably 15 minutes for the Ginger Creme Brulee (which was delicious). Fortunately we had good company and conversation to keep us busy. Still, a great dining experience and I'll go back for the food, and our waiter was very nice despite the delays.
I've dined at Vesta numerous times and this time will be my last for a while. We had a group of 6 and requested a large round table one week prior to arrival and when we get there I asked if we had one of those tables. The hostess said yes and then when it came time to seat us she said it was no longer available and that another party took our table by mistake...not a good start.
The frustration started to set in when we didn't see or hear from our waiter for the first 15 minutes. We were seated 45 min before he took our order. Anyway, to make a long story short...food was great as always, people were nice but service was really bad. It was just not the service you would expect at a restaurant like Vesta.
The appetizers were especially delicious - particularly the shrimp dish. The dipping sauces were all yummy. Our waiter was extremely accommodating. Three young children were with us - there were crayons on the table with something to color, children's menus and sippy cups - all things, apparently, that parents appreciate. The venison was a particular hit with the adults. Cool decor; mostly excellent service (there were lengthy periods between drop-bys). Sticky toffee pudding was a great hit as well; lemon cream ice cream also very good.
The food was outstanding. I had no idea a sauce could add that much to the overall experience. If you like variety, or you have certain allergies ( like gluten) it's a great place to go. I will definitely add it to my list of the "best of" in my book. The meat and cheese tray was my favorite, and the cherry mustard was awesome!
I thought that it was good, but not exceptional. The food was fresh, but the dipping sauces were just OK. Tasted too much soy-sauce or Sriracha in the sauces, reminding me of PF Chang's. Drinks were over-iced to the point that you couldn't drink it without spilling it.
Food was outstanding. We both had the beef tenderloin and it was exceptional! Nice ambiance, very trendy. Only thing I can comment on in negatively is service. When we first came in we stood at the front for roughly ten minutes- seemed like hostice didn't know if we had a table or not & didn't communicate very well to us where to go.. just kind of stood around in front for 5-10 mins until someone showed us our table. Server was very very nice & gave great recommendations. However, it got busy during our meal & he might have been given too many tables? He was working hard but a little overwhelmed - because of this forgot our second round of drinks (cocktail + a 2nd glass of wine our table never recieved... but he was great overall.
The overall experience here was amazing! The food was absolutely amazing. We have a salsa sampler and it was great. The service was okay, we could have a little bit better service when it came to the drinks but our waiter was nice and knowledgeable. The was some of the best food we have had in a while. The price was a little steep but it was well worth it. I had the venison and my had the steak. The dipping sauces was obviously what the place was all about and it definitely lived up to its name. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. It was a little loud but it's on market street a very popular scene for the late night!
Very cool, contemporary atmoshphere and vibe. The dipping theme on all dishes makes this place far beyond cool. The food and drinks are fantastic, never had a bad experience there. My wife and I love it and bring all of our friends there when we want to impress!
Service was very good, plenty of staff around to make sure everything flowed. Food was quite delish. Some sauces seemed a little watery, eg. peanut sauce really s/b thicker. Beef skewers app was very generous. Duck and salmon just wonderful. We had cheese plate, 5 samples, all delicious; but stingy on the accompanying crackers; how are you supposed to eat all that cheese w/o enough crackers to go with? we had to ask for more; they never materialized, but aside from that, the wait staff was very friendly, knowledgeable. Sometimes hard to flag our waitress down but it was a busy Friday night. Quite loud atmosphere, but other than that, ambiance nice, dark, liked the brick walls and sconces lighting.
Vesta has plenty of variety for adventurous eaters as well as a few standards for those who want a simple beef or chicken dish. They have more choices of dipping sauces than you can think about if you're not familiar with them, but fortunately each dish comes with 3 sauces recommended by the chef so ordering can be as easy as you want. It's easy to share appetizers and dipping sauces so a group of 4 is perfect for sampling. Along with beers and cocktails, they have a good selection of wines in the $30-42/bottle range, with a few higher if you want to splurge, and the staff has been knowledgeable. Flavors are vibrant, meats are prepared exactly as ordered, and ambiance is nice. We'll return with more friends.
The cheese plate was very good. I had the flank steak entree and was less than impressed. For $30 a hoped for more than a small steak on a bed of fries and 6 cold clams. I don't think the clams were supposed to be cold and I wasn't sure if they were even cooked properly (had to pry them open and they were stringy) so I only had the steak and some soggy, blood-soaked fries. Awesome.
My date had the pork tenderloin and really enjoyed it.
This was a fun find. We are from out of town and after doing a bunch of research on places to eat for my wifes 30th bday I kept coming across Vesta Dipping Grill.
The atmosphere was fun and good for groups or those on a date. The service was exceptional, finding the right balance of there when you need them and helpful with selections. They even remembered my wife's birthday (which I only referenced on the opentable reservation).
We stayed and dined for a few hours and never felt rushed to open up the table like other places. The meats were cooked exactly how we ordered them and the sauces went perfectly with the dishes.
We will definately be back again.
Vesta Dipping Grill was highly rated on many different websites, that being said, the food was marginal at best, and the sauces recommended for the meats were poorly matched. Vesta Dipping Grill is over priced and not worth the money! I will never go back, and would not suggest anyone I know go there either. There are much better places to go for good meat, and at a better price. DO NOT GO TO VESTA DIPPING GRILL!!!! You will over pay, and not be satisfied with your meal.
