Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth, is the most beautiful of Roman divinities, bright and pure like the flame that is her symbol. Latins made Vesta a goddess who personified the earth and fire. She presided over the preparation of meals: Vesta was offered the first food and drink. The hearth conjures up visions of domesticity and peace, for the hearth is the traditional center of family life. It symbolizes warmth, security, and companionship a place for dreaming where it becomes possible by peering into the embers, to find physical and mental renewal and a place to discover the secrets of the future. At Vesta, we have combined these themes to provide a unique dining experience. Vesta is simplicity, quality, comfort, life, art, scent, relaxation, taste, sound, and fun.

Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Service was a too rushed and servers didn’t get the signals that we were not in a hurry.

This is our favorite special occasion spot in Denver and we love going there. We shared the green salad with compressed squash and spices cranberries - great! Like eating Autumn! We also shared the burrito with hedgehog mushrooms and hazelnut truffle out - excellent! My husband enjoyed his steak and especially the whiskey hot sauce. I have a middle eastern influenced scallop dish. Flavor was perfect but I would have preferred cooked more thoroughly. The accompaniments with the scallops, a tahini and a clashes dukkah were fantastic as was were the mint yogurt and black pepper aoli sauces. I was not thrilled with the inventive take on tiramisu. I found the molded marscapone part a bit too gelatinous and not enough espresso flavor. Service as always was delightful well I formed and attentive.

Overall the food was good, but the dishes we ordered didn't have much balance: heavy on meat, light on veggies. Drinks are good and strong. However, we felt everything was overpriced, even by downtown standards.

Excellent service and food. Everything on that we ordered, especially the venison, was exceptional.

Food and service were outstanding! Best scallops I’ve had in a long time — large, tender, perfectly cooked. As was the prosciutto-wrapped halibut special. The sauces were very interesting and we enjoyed them with bread and naan. The accompanying vegetables were innovative and beautifully prepared.

Only restaurant that I’ve ever been to that has separate menus for Gluten-free and lactose-free diners — NICE!

Our friend had been there 20 years ago and somehow forgot to come back. She recommended it and we all benefitted.

Thank you — it won’t take 20 years for us to cone back!

Very happy they had a separate menu for vegetarian/vegan. It made our experience so much better!

I absolutely loved this place. The food was flavorful! Th service was great! The lights were dim, it was romantic! The only suggestion I have is maybe larger plates for the large plate options , they were delicious but bit small.

I sadly gave this review as my new husband and I went for a romantic Valentine's dinner. I have been going there regularly for at least 10 years.... it's a sure go to for all my out of town family , friends and business as well as special occasions. Servers were decent....
Menu was sub par ... I've never been to Vesta without being joyously overwelmed with the amazing selections. Well... my husband got the cioppinni .... bland and overcooked. I went with the elk, nice flavor, I enjoy my steak med well but because of the usual quality of Vesta , I went with med. Well , it was so rare .... it wasn't even rare.... bloody. I told my server , he said he'd order something else for me.... my husband was ready for dessert so i opted for the tikka chicken to go. We were charged for both dinners after being regarded rudely. When we got home chicken was HORRIBLE. I had to toss it. I felt so bad for my husband trying so hard on our first Valentine's day not worth the $150.00 (We don't even drink). Will definitely be keeping my eye on Denver's diverse culinary scene as Vesta left a bad taste in my mouth and pocket.

Very good food! Haven’t been in 4 years so it was good to come back. The prosciutto wrapped halibut should be a permanent menu item! Definitely on the higher price side but great for a date or special occasion and the wine pairing was quite good as well.
