Great food, great service. The menu really has a lot of great options. Loved the atmosphere too. There's a reason this restaurant has been in LoDo as long as it has.
Our server, Mike, was friendly attentive and incredibly helpful. None of his recommendations dissapointed in the slightest. We had a wonderful evening, I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.
Vesta is a jewel in Denver. Excellent, attentive and knowledgeable service meant that our meal was the best it could be. The food was absolutely amazing and the cocktails were exactly as they should be - refreshing, just boozy enough and interesting.
This place is fabulous! Take the time to try EVERYTHING.
Good food and always a nice night out
I had the scallops and they were to die for. Also, the tuna and pork belly appetizers were incredible.
The entire dining experience was terrific and the food amazing!!!
Vesta was delightful! The naan with five dipping sauces was particularly good, as was the Growhaus salad. Also good was the Shrimp Tempura, the tuna carpaccio and the smoked ribs. The lighting is wonderful and the noise level minimal. This was our last night in Denver, and Vesta was the icing on the cake.
Have traveled throughout many countries & the US. Vesta is my favorite restaurant in Denver & is in my top 10 worldwide. If you're visiting our area soon, you won't regret adding it to your list to go there one evening. If you live here, I'm sure you've been & loved it... so go again as soon as possible ;o)
Jeremy, the Manager & Michael, our server were friendly & knowledgeable. The cocktails were wonderful & the bone marrow appetizer was outstanding. Flavor on the lobster cioppino fabulous but wished there was a bit more seafood in the entree. It was also hard to get the mini lobster tail meat out of the shell. Could of used cocktail forks for the shellfish. All in all we had a fun dinner. Great wine too.
Great atmosphere, very friendly service and delicious perfectly prepared food made my visit extremely pleasurable.
The food was excellent and the service was amazing!
This was our first visit and we were impressed with the quality of the food. Many items on the menu - including charcuterie as well as their famous dipping sauces - are made in house. Friendly service, good wine list with some "off the beaten path" selections. The renovated warehouse setting lends extra atmosphere.
Vesta is an absolute must! The service is spot on and all the staff looks after your every need. You can tell the chefs have a passion for food. Every bite was delicious! We are already planning to go back next month when we have family in town :)
good meal, good service, good cocktails, good atmosphere
Food: See above.
Great place to have a fine dining experience. Excellent menu with favorable menu items, something for everyone. Worth the wait and the drive for an occasional and special night out.
Always a great experience at Vesta! I have literally never had one bad bite at this restaurant. This is our go-to date night & special occasion place. Service is always top notch too. Can’t go wrong at Vesta!
Wonderful dinner at Vesta. I'm gluten, dairy and a couple of other foods. They have a gluten free menu and a dairy free menu!!! The lobster cioppino was fabulous and came with gluten free bread. My friend's seafood was also wonderful. The Oregon Pinot Noir was perfect. The server Sean was knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent setting for a team dinner. It was quiet enough to carry conversation and the service was excellent.
Everything great, but a bit noisy. Been there before so it was not unexpected nor bothersome.
Vesta provided an excellent location for a large group business dinner. Service and atmosphere was terrific. Will definitely consider Vesta for future business meal needs.
Good restaurant week menu and attentive service.
We had the pleasure of being seated with h Kye and our server. We divided to do wine pairings without meal and he was super bowl informative about the ingredients in the meals and that allowed me to make a decision. Where it went above and beyond was when they redesigned the meal to meet my allergies. This was not our first time here and it CERTAINLY won’t be our last. Thanks Kye for another awesome anniversary experience at Vesta.
We went for Restaurant Week and we all were a little disappointed with our food. The drinks and service were good. However, our first course came out luke warm. The main entree was pork tenderloin and it was over cooked and dry. The garnish was suppose to be tomato and olive apenade and there was 2 bits of olives. The dessert was ok but nothing special. For a meal that came out to 72 dollars we were all left disappointed by the food.
Even with a special deal the food was over priced. And the cost of the cocktails were too high.
Went for restaurant week but wasn't too impressed with the restaurant week options (very limited) so just grabbed something from the regular menu - beef tenderloin. It was good but not great. The pork belly small bite was delicious. Our table waited 15-20 mins for drinks which is ridiculous. Extremely loud inside; it was difficult to speak to the people on the other side of the table without leaning in or speaking quite loud.
These are really the only points (both positive and negative) that stood out. Everything else was mediocre. I don't think I would go back as there are far too many excellent (read: better than this) restaurants in Denver at this price point.
Amazing food, atmosphere, and service. Every piece was well put together. The food was flavorful and the wine pairing recommendation was perfect.
The restaurant week menu was good, especially the chicken tikka masala— very unique! Also, the desserts are super unique!
We have been going to Vesta for 18 plus years. Always have great service and amazing flavorful food.
Had an amazing time with my fiancé. I believe that’s all I have to say. Oh, assorted cheese plate was good.
Food had great seasoning, I had pork and my husband the masala (we share our plates and we both agreed they were flavorful). We did request a more private table with the reservation and we were given a table at the front by the door and window ( not private but good people watching) so if you want any privacy this place may not be for you. They had space heaters by our feet which made for a hot and cold evening. Aside from that, the service was good and the plates a perfect portion. I would recommend Vesta to others, vibey restaurant in close proximity to music.
Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Service was a too rushed and servers didn’t get the signals that we were not in a hurry.
This is our favorite special occasion spot in Denver and we love going there. We shared the green salad with compressed squash and spices cranberries - great! Like eating Autumn! We also shared the burrito with hedgehog mushrooms and hazelnut truffle out - excellent! My husband enjoyed his steak and especially the whiskey hot sauce. I have a middle eastern influenced scallop dish. Flavor was perfect but I would have preferred cooked more thoroughly. The accompaniments with the scallops, a tahini and a clashes dukkah were fantastic as was were the mint yogurt and black pepper aoli sauces. I was not thrilled with the inventive take on tiramisu. I found the molded marscapone part a bit too gelatinous and not enough espresso flavor. Service as always was delightful well I formed and attentive.
Overall the food was good, but the dishes we ordered didn't have much balance: heavy on meat, light on veggies. Drinks are good and strong. However, we felt everything was overpriced, even by downtown standards.
Excellent service and food. Everything on that we ordered, especially the venison, was exceptional.
Food and service were outstanding! Best scallops I’ve had in a long time — large, tender, perfectly cooked. As was the prosciutto-wrapped halibut special. The sauces were very interesting and we enjoyed them with bread and naan. The accompanying vegetables were innovative and beautifully prepared.
Only restaurant that I’ve ever been to that has separate menus for Gluten-free and lactose-free diners — NICE!
Our friend had been there 20 years ago and somehow forgot to come back. She recommended it and we all benefitted.
Thank you — it won’t take 20 years for us to cone back!
Very happy they had a separate menu for vegetarian/vegan. It made our experience so much better!
I absolutely loved this place. The food was flavorful! Th service was great! The lights were dim, it was romantic! The only suggestion I have is maybe larger plates for the large plate options , they were delicious but bit small.
