About Vesta

Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth, is the most beautiful of Roman divinities, bright and pure like the flame that is her symbol. Latins made Vesta a goddess who personified the earth and fire. She presided over the preparation of meals: Vesta was offered the first food and drink. The hearth conjures up visions of domesticity and peace, for the hearth is the traditional center of family life. It symbolizes warmth, security, and companionship a place for dreaming where it becomes possible by peering into the embers, to find physical and mental renewal and a place to discover the secrets of the future. At Vesta, we have combined these themes to provide a unique dining experience. Vesta is simplicity, quality, comfort, life, art, scent, relaxation, taste, sound, and fun.

Excellent service and food. Everything on that we ordered, especially the venison, was exceptional.

Food and service were outstanding! Best scallops I’ve had in a long time — large, tender, perfectly cooked. As was the prosciutto-wrapped halibut special. The sauces were very interesting and we enjoyed them with bread and naan. The accompanying vegetables were innovative and beautifully prepared.

Only restaurant that I’ve ever been to that has separate menus for Gluten-free and lactose-free diners — NICE!

Our friend had been there 20 years ago and somehow forgot to come back. She recommended it and we all benefitted.

Thank you — it won’t take 20 years for us to cone back!

Very happy they had a separate menu for vegetarian/vegan. It made our experience so much better!

I absolutely loved this place. The food was flavorful! Th service was great! The lights were dim, it was romantic! The only suggestion I have is maybe larger plates for the large plate options , they were delicious but bit small.

I sadly gave this review as my new husband and I went for a romantic Valentine's dinner. I have been going there regularly for at least 10 years.... it's a sure go to for all my out of town family , friends and business as well as special occasions. Servers were decent....
Menu was sub par ... I've never been to Vesta without being joyously overwelmed with the amazing selections. Well... my husband got the cioppinni .... bland and overcooked. I went with the elk, nice flavor, I enjoy my steak med well but because of the usual quality of Vesta , I went with med. Well , it was so rare .... it wasn't even rare.... bloody. I told my server , he said he'd order something else for me.... my husband was ready for dessert so i opted for the tikka chicken to go. We were charged for both dinners after being regarded rudely. When we got home chicken was HORRIBLE. I had to toss it. I felt so bad for my husband trying so hard on our first Valentine's day not worth the $150.00 (We don't even drink). Will definitely be keeping my eye on Denver's diverse culinary scene as Vesta left a bad taste in my mouth and pocket.

Very good food! Haven’t been in 4 years so it was good to come back. The prosciutto wrapped halibut should be a permanent menu item! Definitely on the higher price side but great for a date or special occasion and the wine pairing was quite good as well.

The service was great, but the food was incredibly overpriced for what it was. Almost everything that my group got was extremely salty in a very strange way. It wasn't awful but definitely not worth the $30 entree price point.

Great food and service. My wife and I have missed this little gem since we moved out of LoDo. It was great to see that the quality hasn't changed.

Our server, Emily, was amazing! The gentleman who delivered each course of our food had the most amazingly descriptions for each dish. He was quite entertaining. You could see the Executive Chef actually delivering food and checking every dish before it came out. Each dish was delightful, flavorful, and unique. It was pricey, but we feel that they earned every dollar that we spent. Wonderful experience. We will return.

I’ve not been back to Vesta since it was Vesta Dipping Grille. Our servers made note of this and the chef came to offer us something delicious as a welcome back. At dinner that venison was the best cut of meat I’ve ever had ever and the service at this restaurant was non-stop on par. Everyone at Vesta was on point the entire night and they made me remember why I loved that place to begin with. It was so great being back.

Vesta never disappoints. I went a few years ago and had a great experience! Our server Kye and food runners were on point. Service and knowledge of menu were top notch. I take clients out often and would say Vesta is one of the best, if not the best restaurants in Denver. Thank you for the hospitality, awesome booth and experience. See you soon!

My husband and I had our first date here, and couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate on our wedding day. We let the restaurant know what a special day it was and requested our old table to enjoy a meal. We’ve always been given truly exceptional service here, but we couldn’t have anticipated the level of care and attention we were given on our big night.

Not only did we get our old table, but the entire section we were seated in was left empty to give us a more private and intimate experience. We were immediately served with complementary glasses of champagne and our waiter, whose name I sadly don’t recall, made every effort to make the night special for us. I’ve never seen such kindness and professionalism. Our meal was exceptional; we didn’t feel rushed at all and spent 3 hours enjoying our meal. Every staff member who came by celebrated with us. Even the sommelier came by and checked that we were well taken care of and happy.

I don’t know where to begin in thanking Vesta for their service, and for making it another unforgettable experience. We’re so grateful for their attention to detail, their 5-star quality service, and their kindness in helping us celebrate our wedding day.

If you are looking for a night to remember, Vesta will make it happen. We’re looking forward to spending all of our most memorable occasions at our favorite restaurant in Denver.

We had wonderful service after a bit of a glitch asking for a booth and being told they were for 6 but they were set for 4 (???hmm) they moved us which was nice . Our server was really terrific super friendly and knowledgeable but only magically there when we needed him food - esp the tuna appetizer was very good . Everyone enjoyed their meals although my husband really needed one more scallop we think in his entree - we really loved the sweet potato donut thingie for dessert and the ice cream and kumquats were a great touch. Really great evening- thx!

Excellent service. Great choices of wine and bourbon. The bread meat and cheese plate is amazing. Dipping sauces for the bread are unbelievable. All entrees are winners but highly suggest the venison. Or Steak tenderloin. Made to perfection.

This is one of our favorite spots in Denver. Great ambiance ... great service ... very pleasant people that work there. The last several times have been more quiet and romantic. This past Saturday was high energy and much higher noise level. So, depending on what you are looking for ... still a fun place to go. We will go back ... but maybe not for the quiet conversations we have had there in the past.

Vesta was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. We went for a birthday dinner and it was great. The service was prompt and friendly and they were very accommodating and helpful with menu suggestions. We split some charcuterie and a salad to start and then split a main meal and they kept an eye on our pace and didn't rush the delivery of the main meal since we were having a nice leisurely time. It was so nice to have everything come out in a timely manner without feeling rushed. The food was really delicious and not fare you see on most menus so it was fun to try new things. Plus, the cocktails were great!

Cool place, would go back. Great food, worth trying. Terrible Service - two of us ordered red meat (tenderloin and venison) and also bottle of red wine for the meal, the wine never came. Waiter blamed the manager, manager apologized, offered desert, but never told us why he didn't bring the wine, or if we even wanted replacement wine. Both of them rookies. Guy introducing the side sauces, of which there are many and they're delicious, was a wealth of food knowledge and did a great job.

The service and ambiance was excellent. The menu lacked anything with fresh vegetables. Their dipping sauces, which we used to love many years ago when it was called Vesta's Dipping Grill, are now mostly thick creamy sauces which all seemed similar. Really wish I could rave about the food, but it was kind of ordinary...

I love the food. The dinner was beautiful, although the menu is kind of hard to understand in terms of what the unique names of ingredients actually consist of (meat is clear at least).
I ordered the beef tenderloin and it was perfect. I ordered it with the fig sauce and curried basil tomatoes sauce on the side. Just delious.
We ordered the dragons breath for dessert and it was so fun! You literally breath out the cold. We also ordered a sampler dessert and it to was a wonder mixture of tasty treats.
The staff was great and really did amazing with the presentation and explanation of its preparation. That made us feel great on what we were about to eat (even though we didn’t know when we ordered what exactly everything was).
Overall I had a blast and definitely would recomend going. Just don’t forget their sauces and dessert. And small plates means appetizers.
