Vertigo First Street

My favorite place in Manchester for Vegan breakfast and lunch. Been few times now and plan on going every time i visit Manchester. The food and drinks are outstanding.

Excellent vegan breakfast, best I've had in a long time. Friendly staff & quick service. Would definitely recommend.

Decent food, staff OK, but a bit like sitting in a shop oroffice.

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff. Would have liked a little more choice of drinks - spirits / cocktails etc.

Lovely plant based food. Will be going again. The only negative is it felt we were sat too close to the next tables on either side. And the couple on one side spoke very loud.

My partner and I had travelled to Manchester to see Jarvis at the Albert Hall. The following day we decided to get lunch at Vertigo on First street.

The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was out of this world delicious 😋

I would highly recommend food at Vertigo and the next time I'm in Manchester I would go back!

The staff here are wonderful and very welcoming! Food came super quick with great presentation and tasted amazing. Such good value for money too. Overall, super welcoming, cozy and the menu has so much to choose from, will definitely be back when I end up in the area next :)

Lovely place with a vibrant menu. It did close a bit early and the coffee was a little bitter but the food was overall was delicious and at a great price!!

We were going to arrive a few minutes late for our booking so we rang the restraunt to let them know our expected arrival time.
The staff were very understanding and reassuring.

When we arrived the staff were welcoming and friendly.
The resteraunt experience has a very retro-modern theme.

The menu selection is not vast, so I suggest you explore the menu before booking.
Food is well presented, and tasty. with generous portions, that won't leave you looking for another coarse.

Prices are sensible, and value for money.

Our first time at Vertigo. It was really easy to find, we parked in q park.

It was very quiet, 7pm Wednesday.

Everything we ordered was great, starters, mains and desserts.

Service was great.

Went for dinner for one course. I had a hanging seitan kebab - which was fantastic, my gf had gnocchi in a lovely potato sauce. There are lots of places that do plant-based meals that have the ethos but not the cooking. I've had two meals there now and they've all been great, and well-priced. Wine was decent too. Staff nice, attentive, and the food is always cooked quite quickly too. Great affordable spot, especially if you're looking to go to HOME cinema or theatre afterwards. We got there at 7:15, deliberated quite a bit, and still made our 8pm film. Go!

Really lovely brunch had the full English and lotus biscoff pancakes. Was a perfect date.

Really creative plant based food. I could have eaten all the options, it was hard to choose! And vegan churros for dessert was a real treat!

2 courses with wine deal very good value for money. Very enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend.

Ordered the full breakfast. Was okay but whatever herb is in the beans is a bit strong. Standard baked beans would be better in my opinion. Choice of organic drinks was great.
