This was the second time we ate here in a couple weeks. The concept is good... 6 tapas for $29 on school nights... but there were a few rough edges this visit.
The table and place mat was not cleaned properly... and several of the tapas plates were less than generous. For instance Fish and Chips were several chips... with one TINY piece of fish. How do you share that with 3 people?
Given a choice... I would rather spend a few more dollars... rather than leave hungry.
Delicious tapas menu and fast service! Great place for a date.
Perhaps our favorite Montreal restaurant. Friendly, professional and helpful staff, out-of-this-world food, and reasonable price.
12 tapas on school nights for a very reasonable price. All good. Hard to beat. Just don't try to park anywhere nearby!
Absolutly perfect! Great food with amazing service.
As usual foods and services triple a
You must go for Tapas night (Tuesday to Thursday) lots of food for decent price
we enjoy our diner very much, the meal was delicious but we were cold :(
We had the "tasting menu"... It was delicious. Every dish we tried was an explosion of flavors! And it was not expensive. Very good Quality / Price.
Location is within 10 minutes walking distance of subway station which is super convenient in winter. Also service was great as there was no wait time and the waiter was very polite and on point. The menu has many options and we decided to go with the tasting menu as it is the chef inspiration of the moment. The 5 and 6 courses tasting were both so worth it. We had salmon tartar, shrimps, cod, liver pate, duck and chocolate fondant. The whole experience was amazing and would recommend to anyone looking for a high end culinary tasting experience.
We were visiting Montreal for the weekend and found this place. The food was unique and tasty. The prices did not break the bank. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful in general! Great place!!!
We were in Montreal from Toronto and a friend recommended this restaurant as an amazing choice to enjoy something different...
Well we were quite surprised, in that Vertige exceeded expectations
Great food, friendly restaurant, lovely atmosphere
Montreal Restaurant festival #3: selected by my lover went to "Vertige" on Duluth 3 service menu for $31. Really good. Had the "crunchy salmon"(sort of a fish cake/delicious salmon nugget lol) followed by cod in a white butter sauce and finished with crème brûlée with a maple shooter for desert. I also tried a Quebec white wine vignoble rivière du chênes cuvée William which was an awesome discovery.
Received by a very rude waitress who dumped us on counter near a Windex bottle and the cash machine. Take it or leave. We left
Very nice menu with affordable wine list.
Nice atmosphere, excellent service and tasty food. I recommend!
Amazing food and service, thank you so much Rosie and the chef!
We chose the tapas style dinner. It was a good way to try the many different foods that the chef had to offer. We had four different courses plus desert. All the choices were well plated and tasted great. The waitress was very informative about the menu and made the dining experience even better. I’d recommend dinner their when in the neighborhood.
Great food, nice atmosphere, excellent service, and because the portions are properly sized - meaning for one person and not three - good value as well.
Menu Dégustation et Accord Vin excellents!
We enjoyed our meal at Vertige very much. The service was friendly and non-intrusive. A little larger table would have made it a wee more comfortable. We would recommend it to our friends.
This restaurant was a discovery - not a very lengthy menu but everything was very good, tasty and beautifully prepared. The 5 course group meal pleased everyone. The plates were big enough but not too big - you leave feeling good, not overstuffed. The food was very tasty and healthy (I often find restaurants do not put enough vergatables, which is not the case here). Great find and very noce hostess. Furthermore, the prices were quite reasonable!
The food at Vertige was the best we had in Montreal, and we also went to Brasserie T! And L'Express. Vertige was very attractive with comfortable sitting. The service was a little slow but it was worth it and we didn't mind waiting because the sound level wasn't too loud and we could talk, unlike at L'Express. The shrimp with saffron rice was superb. The pork cheeks, cod filet and duck were all delicious. We did not have dessert. We recommend Vertige highly, five stars.
While traveling in Montreal, we dined at Vertige, a locals restaurant, which proved to be excellent in many ways. Great food and an interesting, but limited, wine list. Each dish served was spot-on. The escargot was well seasoned and not overpowered by the garlic. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked. Our server was friendly and attentive. When in Montreal, give it a try!
Cute little restaurant, very romantic and good food at desent price😍
Since i left to live in repentigny i didn't get a chance to go back to that restaurant. It was a special occasion my wedding anniversary and it was a surprise for my wife.
Great service great food
Nice restaurant, excellent food and good atmosphere
Wife and I were in Montreal with brother and his wife for a short holiday. Couldn't get a reservation at Old Montreal restaurant as we were hoping. Started looking online and found Vertige. Dinner was excellent (Portuguese chicken) and service quite good. Recommend you try it! Only complaint was ver modest wine pour. Need to get real about what a glass of wine looks like.
Nice place, amazing food and wine, friendly service. The tasting menu (6-course) was worth the experience. We strongly recommend visiting that place! We will return for sure.
Overall great value, great food and good service and good wine. Can't really go wrong with that combo.
Vertige never disappoints. We had the arrancini and the fried Brie, which was served with blueberries, salad, and candied nuts. Everything was tasty and all of the flavors came together on the plate.
