Brought my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday we got a wonderful surprise- tour of the kitchen which was immaculate, if your a foodie this was a fun treat I enjoyed.. our waiter Robbie outstanding he was thorough in explaining thier menu and very pleasant and attentive,everyone that we came across was great and went out of their way to be of help to us and make our experience all the more pleasant. The ambience of the place was wonderful . We live in the area and as soon as we walked in we felt as if transported into another world The jazz, the decor, all of it a perfectly orchestrated vibe-great choice in music. Then the live jazz band was such a romantic touch to our evening. Now the food…definitely don’t pass on the milk buns omg!! I couldn’t stop.. I ordered raw starters for my main the aged yellowtail- just wished I could’ve had this as a main dish -it was so delicious and refreshing as well as the wagyu tartar.. which I had never had that was amazing ,wagyu was like butter in my mouth so good-the tiger prawns w avocado such a wonderful display and mix of ingredients that all complimented each other fresh and delicious. My man got the almond wood NY steak w the best Peruvian style beans we have ever had! The food felt worldly a touch of Asian, Latin, Peruvian vibe so many amazing flavors. I look forward to returning.. so much more I want to try. You won’t be disappointed.. Price wise, I honestly think it was all well worth it. We had 3 mixed drinks as well as the food and spent around 240- Definitely think this is a great date night or night out with friends to check out.

Great service and cool ambience with a live jazz trio performing. The food was good, but not outstanding. Probably the appetizers outsined the main courses.

This is my third time at Verse. The food is a disappointment each time. However, this time it was worse. The most paltry, thin, poorly cooked prime rib roast I’ve ever had. Thin & tough drowned in a sloppy dark thick gravy. Every other item we ordered was mediocre. Concept is cool in theory and the Ambiance is ok, too many servers around. Never coming back.

Easy reservation. The food is great! The location it’s hard to find bec there is no sign. The staff are very friendly. Costly somehow but it’s worth it. Place is very clean and the eaters are friendly too.

This place was absolutely WONDERFUL all around. Beautiful restaurant, immaculate service, pricing is on point, clean, creative, great date night. Highly recommend the scallops and the crab pasta. Was all to die for! We will be back. Thank you so much!

Celebrated Father's Day at this amazing hidden gem! We started with milk buns, croquettes and octopus. All very good appetizers with exquisite flavors. Next, we ordered a flight of tequila and a couple of drinks. Followed by our meal. It was vinyl record soul R&B night with live piano playing. We had an elegant enjoyable night. Our waitress Lauren made our evening even more enjoyable by her wonderful attitude and service. We will definitely be back!

This is our third experience Verse and so far, they are 3–0. Exquisite ambience and service that I believe to be unparalleled in the San Fernando Valley. The jazz quartet was excellent and vibrant and somehow soothing with a delicious meal. The milk bread is completely off the chart delicious. The croquettes had a nice little spicy, subtle kick to it in the apple salad has a nice citrusy vibe. For me, the star of the show is the braised beef and lamb pasta. These dishes are absolute standouts and a must at this restaurant. I’ve already booked my next two reservations and look forward to the smoky old fashion and excellent servers that have taken care of us the last few times we’ve been there. One sidenote, we arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation and they were accommodating and extremely kind and sat us immediately.
