The food was phenomenal and the wine selection quite good. The ambience is also lovely.
Very nice place, large and open. Was a little dirty and disheveled. could have used a good cleaning. Great location close to trains and buses, good place to meet and get a drink outside.
Beautiful restaurant with great food. The service could be a tad bit faster though, we waited a while to get our check.
Great service and food! Five stars across the board!
We stayed at this hotel this past weekend. Had dinner Friday night which wasn't bad. We just had burgers and calamari but they were both good. Service and ambience were very good. Sunday brunch was a whole different story. You have the choice of buffet at $27 a person or menu. We chose buffet and it was disappointing. Had to ask for a new coffee because it was cold on arrival, in fact all the hot food at the buffet was lukewarm at best. For $54 for two people it was a waste.
Service exceptional and food off the charts delish!! Will visit often
I am giving VERSA 5 stars because of the ambiance. The music is soooooooo good. The grapefruit sangria is probably the best drink I have ever had, so you must try that. We went because it says "rooftop restaurant" on Yelp, but we weren't anywhere near a window or a roof. It feels more like an indoor garden or patio than a rooftop. We had shrimp cocktail (awesome), a mediterranean salad with chicken (delicious but tooooooo big), and my husband had little pasta with pesto which was so delicious, just way too big of a bowl/plate. The service was ok, but we were there a while before anyone knew what to do with us. We were on a romantic date, and it worked for us. I think it would also be great for a large party because the music is the best ever.
Great Place will be back for my daughters B-DAY!!!!
VERSA was amazing! The food was so good, and the prices for some big dishes were so reasonable. The view is incredible, and I cannot wait to go back when there’s outside seating. The only problem is if you’re dining with a friend and want to split the check, they do not have that option and you have to do the math yourself. But overall, great experience! Highly recommend!
Great place for a large crowd ... wait staff was wonderful!
Delicious food, excellent and friendly service, great decor, fun atmosphere. Outdoor space!
While we had good food, it was punctuated by very poor service. We had more interaction with the water and bus people than with our actual server. When he did come to the table he wouldn’t even look at us because he was too interested in what was playing on their TVs
Really amazing food! Very impressed.
Perfect venue for a casual dinner before an event at MSG. Food was good, service was great but venue was a bit loud - both inside and outside dining areas.
I had dinner with 7 friends here on a Saturday evening. The apps were great, entrees were good, and cocktails were excellent. The restaurant is at the top of a hotel; I will be back in the summer for rooftop season. The restaurant is really spacious.
I was hopping off and on the Amtrak as it was going through NYC and needed a place to have a dinner meeting. This was perfect. They even watched my bag and coat for me while I had dinner. Have a reservation was super helpful.
The sharing portion of the menu is excellent and the service staff at VERSA is even better. Top notch and will definitely be going back!
Great plac e in the Penn Station neighborhood for a comfortable business lunch. It is an attractive venue (better in the warmer weather) and has an adequate menu for a quick bite.
Had business meetings over breakfast and lunch. Good environment to conduct serious business. AND, as usual, the staff was very attentive.
Server could have been a bit more focused especially as it wasn’t busy. Had to track her down for refills and the check. Otherwise a good business lunch. Healthy options, got us in and out reasonably quickly.
Great food, great service. A #1 all around.
incredible setting, food was okay, and great music by the DJ!
Welcome lunch for new employee
Awesome and for NYC pricing is extremely reasonable. Service is great
The size of the "share" items is rather deceiving. They're not much bigger than a regular appetizer for one.
It's a bit on the chilly side on a cold day so be prepared.
Overall a good visit. Great location.
The staff was great - informative on the menu and very pleasant. Surprised my wife with birthday dessert.
For Breakfast, they have a regular and a buffet. We had the buffet as it was included in our stay. The buffet is not elaborate, but there's enough to keep you satisfied. My eggs, fried potatoes (very good), bagel... and a nice banana parfait dessert was enjoyable. The croissants offered are weak. Lots of newspapers available. Great service. Nice atmosphere... so, we enjoyed.
We wanted to stay in the hotel, as hotel guests, and decided to try the restaurant for dinner... it was perfect. The space is awesome, lots of options... large bar, seating in the bar, open to the dining room, and an enclosed terrace (would be awesome when the weather is good). The ambiance is great.
Our food was excellent. The highlight was the KALE & QUINOA salad... with shaved fennel, avocado, green grapes, spiced pistachios, basil honey dressing. Great! The K-TOWN FRIED CHICKEN WINGS w/chile & soy garlic glaze were very good... meaty wings with a nice spicy sauce. The banana bread dessert was huge... good for sharing.
Good cocktails and beer selection. Service was friendly and professional. This place really enhances this excellent hotel.
First time here, we knew the server Brian who is wonderful, A1 service, attentive and friendly. Food was solid too. Very nice manager, Eric came and said hello and introduced himself which we appreciated. We will return! Thank you.
Nice mid town vibe for an after work beverage and appys
Shantel was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.
My wife and I had a great time there on Saturday nite. We will certainly be back to enjoy the roof top seating when the weather is a bit warmer.
Good, friendly staff, consistent good food, fast service !
Went for post work dinner and drinks with my brother on a weeknight and chose to be seated in the heated outdoor terrace. His burger and my Mediterranean salad were both tasty and reasonably priced given the atmosphere and that the restaurant appears to cater primarily to hotel guests.
The new menu is as good as ever. Tony adds the personality to give it that necessary vibe
Delicious food and amazing staff! We sat at the bar and ordered wine and a few appetizers. The hummus was our favorite!
A little loud, but the food was delish & the service was excellent!
It was a little cold in the patio area. Service was great..Hummus and the grilled cabbage salad was awesome!!!
Great pop in spot. Met up with friends for weekday catch up and cocktail. Perfect setting for just that.
We had a wonderful experience. It was Fun and the food was very tasty. The waiter was very nice as well
