It was great food was really good ,service was excellent the people had great attitude
Very good Italian dishes with friendly and responsive service. Very much enjoyed our experience.
Beautiful view of the water. They also have outside seating for the warmer weather.
The food was very good, as usual. The service was also good. The chair I was seated in was falling apart. Our waiter, Tommy, said they would fix it right away.
I enjoy coming in to this restaurant. It is a welcoming place with views and great food. I really enjoy the wine list and the lemon marscopone dessert. Yum!
Valentines Day menu was not that diverse however the service was good and overall we would go back again
Service was excellent but wish I could say the same about the food. The food was very bland and had no flavor. Food is overpriced in my opinion.
Very nice Italian restaurant. Great view of Puget Sound from most of the tables. The food is excellent and if you can try to swing by on a night when they have Osso Buco. Out of this world.
It was lovely. The view was gorgeous and the food was superb!
The food was over priced! The brunettes was hard and burnt. The dish my husband got was over priced and ok.
Our waiter was very kind and gave us another bruschetta, two pieces to makeup for the burn pieces. The bread was so hard it was like a brick!
Verrazanos has good food and service but it is overpriced for Federal Way. Happy Hour is the best value.
New Years Eve family dinner. Our family has a tradition of steak & Lobster for NYE. In the past few years we’ve adopted a pescatarian diet, do now it’s just lobster. We searched and found great reviews for this restaurant and the menu shows they have lobster on their standard menu so it seemed to be a win-win. I received a call from the restaurant the morning of our reservation to let me know there would be a special limited menu for the holiday evening. Several items on the menu still fit our diet and they were still serving lobster, so all seemed well. Most ordered the pasta menu option, but I stuck with the lobster. We all had wine, we had the caprese appetizer, and most had salad to start. First off, the waiter was pleasant, fun, and just attentive enough without being annoying. The starters were good as was the wine. When the meals came out, I was surprised to see my lobster (what I thought would be a tail) was chunks of lobster cut up, mixed in an Alfredo sauce and served inside the tail. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to traditional lobster, but it was ok. All said the food was a bit under seasoned, but we did notice most of the clientele was elderly and that could be why. We did order desert to go. The cannoli filling was just about the best I’ve ever had. We will try it a second tube with the regular menu to see how we feel for sure. We would also like to see the view in the daylight.
Beautiful view. Very friendly staff, food was very good
I hope management reads this review. The restaurant is lovely, the food is good, not excellent. We had nice service but the waitress was filthy! We arrived 1/2 hour after opening and her shirt, pants and apron were very dirty which tells me she came to work in dirty clothes. Not appealing.
This is a great find in the area. We will go back
We just started a new tradition... to go to this restaurant every Christmas Eve Everything was perfect. Food. Service. Atmosphere. Everything. We will be back more often than once a year!! Thank you!
We had a big group on Christmas Eve and they did an awesome job. Everyone loved their food and service. We’ll be back!
Great dining experience. Service was great and do was the food and atmosphere
Our holiday dinner was fantastic Saturday evening. Ryan took very good care of us and our meals were all delicious. Thanks again for the exceptional service and great food. This was our first time in since buying a home on Star Lake. We will be back soon!
Service was great. Food was terrible. Ravioli not cooked enough one person in our group got sick after eating just a small portion of her meal. To be fair server did excellent job. Will not be dining here again.
I truly love this place. It is my favorite place to eat dinner with family and friends.
Wonderful Greeting. Bread is amazing! The Bacon Scallops were on point! Sadly the Calamari was over cooked and rubbery. My husbands Tenderloin & Prawns plate was delicious, as was my Lobster & Prawn Fettuccine Plate with the exception of my lobster being over cooked and rubbery as well, but it was easy enough to eat around. The Parm Plate was huge and full of flavor. Can't remember what my son had, he said it was good.
I would have given higher rating, but due to the Calamari & Lobster being over cooked. When it came time to serve 3 dishes came out and 1 had to wait 5 mins for their plate to arrive. Which is always uncomfortable for, everyone. Do you wait, do you eat, its such a strange thing.
Overall we had a nice evening and enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully it was just a little hiccup with the food.
Beautiful table with a view, excellent service and the food was fantastic. Great holiday dinner overall.
A fine dinner in a relaxed setting. Very nice evening.
Our waiter, Tommy , was amazing. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Thanks again Tommy. We will be back.
Excellent food and service.
Great value for the cost.
Food perfectly prepared.
The spaghetti was too al dente. No one wants mushy pasta, but it was definitely undercooked. The daily special pasta, with hazelnut cream sauce, was perfect & delicious.
Very good food and fun atmosphere. The bartender makes an exceptional gin and tonic with muddled lemon and lime. The halibut special was fresh and really good. My friend really enjoyed her spaghetti and meatballs.
As always, our server Tommy who we requested was personable and attentive.
My wife and I thought our dinners (scampi, halibut special) were dry. The pasta must have been cooked much earlier and was dry and cool. Very high noise levels so it was difficult to talk. Appetizers good as was dessert. Service very good.
Always great food from a menu that all of us can find a favorite. Our favorite server was-is extraordinary! Tommy is knowledgeable, an excellent guide, friendly, and so entertaining! We always feel comfortable and have a wonderful meal at Verazano’s.
We were seated within seconds and drinks minutes later. The staff were very friendly. Dinners were amazing. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. We will be going again.
The food was very good. Our server Thomas, aka. Tommy, was an excellent server. Haven't had that great of service in any restaurant in a long time. He's a keeper.
A very nice and cozy place to have dinner with friends and family.
My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our one year anniversary. The food was delicious. I had the clams for an appetizer, the broth was so tasty. I ate the entire thing myself. For dinner I had the seafood fettuccine. It was delicious as well. There was plenty of shrimp, clams, 2 big scallops, and smoked salmon, so much so that I had leftovers to take home. My boyfriend has the lasagna and Cesar salad, both he said were delicious too. The ambiance was very nice. We had a table right by the window facing the water. The sun was setting and it was beautiful. The tables by the windows were not booths though so we sat across from each other. Our overall experience was wonderful.
Our server, who I believe was also the bartender, was wonderful and helped make our anniversary celebration even more special with her knowledge and pleasant attitude. The food was very good -- not the best of our experiences here, but still really good. I tried to branch out a bit on the entree, but will next time stick to the scallop and prawn risotto. It's ah-mazing!
Always great, having been going there for years. Should have better Italian wines by the glass tho.
Our waiter Tommy was very personable. A well informed, engaging wait person makes so much difference in a dining experience and he was top notch!
We've always loved Verrazanos. My husband proposed to me there, we've spent countless hours in the bar, outdoor seating. We told our waitress it was our 31st anniversary and that my husband had proposed to me there. I kind of thought maybe we might receive a candle in our dessert or dessert on the house. Left feeling a bit sad. Steak was really good. Seafood fetticini was ok.
