   We love Vero Pizzerio and think they have the best pizza that we've tried around Atlanta. We got here on a Sunday night early, and it was quiet but started to fill up by the time we departed. Cad took excellent care of us and let us try a couple of wines before we decided on which wine to order with our meal. I always love the fungi pizza, so that's what I ordered (and took home half of it). My husband has tried other pizzas, but this time he settled for the carne, which he said was delicious.

   My expectations were high from the description. First, the service and facility was top notch - attentive, courteous, clean and organized. Ordered a salad and pizza- the salad was amazing with quality ingredients. The pizza also had quality ingredients but the flavor of the crust was nothing to write home about and the combo of toppings was just ok.

   For years I've told my wife how incredible Vero was, but we had not had a chance to visit, then 2020 arrived. I wanted her to have the real experience of eating the pizza fresh out of the oven, so we finally got around to it in early 2021. We decided to go for date night last week. We had made reservations on open table and were seated promptly by Cat. She provided great service, and was very personable. My wife and I love white pizza and veggies, especially mushrooms so we ordered a half/half Fungi and Americano. The Americano is good, but the Fungi was spectacular. Can't wait to go back.

   Pizza dough is sourdough They can't make a regular kids pizza (dough, sauce, mozzarella) they out that fresh mozzarella and the sauce is tangy. Not good for kids

   If you are looking for great brick oven pizza with a dinner and wine list shared with an excellent Italian restaurant (i.e. Valencia next door), then Vero is your place. The staff is casual and efficient. The pizza is always served hot and it is really good. The outdoor sitting area is perfect when the weather is good.

    Visited while working off the Thanksgiving Turkey. Had a trainee for a server - she was OK, no real problems, salads and pizza were quite tasty, wine meh. Prices were a bit high for what we received, overall I would go back.

    Cat was a treat for a server. Very knowledgeable regarding the menu and made great recommendations. We had the Vero salad and Americano white pizza. Perfect portions to split for 2 people! If you’re a dipper, ask for the Vero salad dressing. Will def be back.

    We used our Atlanta Passbook Savings to try this restaurant, and it turned out to be very good. Kat, our server, took excellent care of us. She let us taste the savignon blanc before ordering a glass each (it was good). We each ordered our own pizza, and got appetizers first. My husband enjoyed his meatballs, and I enjoyed my arugula and kale salad, but the dressing was too mild - I would have like a stronger garlic flavor. I took home most of my fungi (mushroom) pizza, and my husband took home the rest of his meaty pie. We sat outside, and it was a very pleasant evening.

    The 2 pizzas for $20 deal on tuesdays is amazing! However Vero should consider adding fans to its outdoor patio - it was very hot and flies were everywhere

    It's convenient and close. The margherita pizza was pretty lame but then we had just finished watching the "Ugly Delicious" pizza episode on NetFlix so had higher expectations than we probably should have had.

    We enjoyed the vibe and our meal. I thought both the Vero and the arugula salads were both very good. The men really enjoyed a meat lovers pizza. I had the funghi pizza and thought there was too much cheese. I like the thin crust.

    We enjoyed the food very much. So nice to find panna cotta on the menu, and it is excellent. We forgot our box of leftover pizza slices on the way out and our server was kind enough to run after us on the sidewalk out front. Everything about this place is first rate. Good wine selection, too. Two Super Tuscans! We will be back.
