Vernick Fish presents Philadelphia’s own, Chef Greg Vernick’s exploration beyond the boundaries of a seafood restaurant. His ingredient-driven cooking style, paired with a love for global flavors, results in an inventive menu of fish and shellfish dishes, and a range of vegetable preparations. Taking a detailed, seasonal, and sustainable approach with small and large plate offerings, the kitchen brings new life to the favorite hallmarks of American oyster bar fare and raw bar.     Join Vernick Fish, for an intimate dinner benefiting A Meaningful Purpose at Reed's Farm in Egg Harbor Township on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in partnership with Cookie Till, of the beloved Steve & Cookie's restaurant in Margate, NJ. The evening will begin at 5:00pm with cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres, followed by a four-course, family-style, seated dinner paired with wine at 6:00pm prepared by Chef Greg Vernick, Vernick Fish Chef de Cuisine Dave Paterniti & our talented culinary team. This event is rain or shine; in case of inclement weather, the dinner will move to a covered area, or indoors. We recommend flat shoes for the farm setting. The ticket price includes gratuity, taxes, and fees

    I would’ve given 5 stars all around but 2 things that stood out making it lower. Made the reso a month in advance and we weren’t exactly in the dining room more like bar area. I ordered the scallops main plate and it was small. Some great things were the drinks and the raw apps. Service was great as well. Really enjoyed the grilled olive oil cake.

    No better seafood restaurant in Philadelphia or within 100 miles. Raw and cold-served seafood delivered to the table fresh and chilled. Fresh fish (for us, black sea bass and halibut) served hot from the oven, grill, or pan, all accompanied by uniquely delicious broths and sauces. Same for appetizers, sides, and desserts. Our favorites were crispy octopus, endive salad, eggplant katsu, and key lime pie. Only exception was the truffled fried rice, which did not meet the standards of the other exceptional dishes. Service is informal, friendly, and efficient, especially the food runners who seem to deliver everything within seconds of completed preparation. Only drawback is the noise level which seems to approach dance floor volumes at times. Dinner for four, one cocktail each, with tax and tip ran $150 per person.

    Excellent food. Very likely the best seafood we’ve had. Staff was very knowledgeable and made fantastic recommendations

    We had a great meal and the service was good. Unfortunately the final tab was considerably high I dine out frequently and feel Vernick is charging for name recognition. As mentioned the meal was great although the plates were small. I will avoid dining at any Vernick restaurants going forward as I feel you can get a similar dining experience for a more reasonable price.
