   This was our second visit to the restaurant The first was when it first opened What astounded us was the prices for what we got We shared two item One was disappointing My husband s pasta small plate was tasteless My raw plate was good I sampled three wines before I chose and I didn’t really like that There also was almost two much service and super cheeriness If we go back we’ll stick to eating the raw choices at the bar

   Overall quite good but not mind blowing. Found the sea bass to be extremely salty but our waiter graciously had the chef remake it with less salt. Highlight were the octopus and scallops!

    This was our second time dining at V.Fish. We loved it the first time so we were excited to go back. It didn’t meet our expectations this time. We were seated right under a speaker which had 80’s music blaring. I asked if they could lower the volume a little but they wouldn’t (it was 7:00 and a little early for that kind of music). The menu was smaller that we remembered but we found things to order. Unfortunately there were issues with some of them. Sardines with burnt bread, dry swordfish, too crispy,crispy potatoes and mushy vegetables that came with the black bass. The prices were was too high for the quality of the food. Sadly, we won’t be back again

    Everything was great! Have not been back since Feb 2020…pre-covid! So happy we returned !!. Corey was excellent server, food and cocktails top notched , flavorful perfection!

    Booked because of rave reviews and part of Four Seasons. Was to celebrate a birthday weekend. All in all very disappointing. I ordered the panko swordfish, it was dry and brick hard. Resembled something that had been deep fried the night before, refrigerated then reheated. It really did not work at all. Worst fish dish ever. My recommendation would be to avoid if my dish was representative. There is lots of choice in Philly with some great fish restaurants like “Prime”

    Wonderful experience. Service exceptional! Food excellent, but overpriced. Be ready for a bill of over $300 for a party of two without any alcoholic drinks.

    The food was great but I didn’t like the server. Not a good fit for this restaurant. Not friendly and rushed us so much. I come to Philadelphia often because my son goes to college there and this time i didn’t enjoy it as much. The food is exceptional as always but I wasn’t happy with my sever.

    It is a great restaurant. Food is great. Bronzino and Broiled oysters were incredible tasty. Staff is very warm, helpful and knowledgeable. It is always great dining in this restaurant. Every time I come to Philadelphia I dine here.

    Superb plates and an amazing team who give incomparable service. Everyone was great, from the hostess to Jon the bartender who is justifiably proud of his family legacy, profession and ability, to the 20-something bartender who knows how to pick 80s tunes. It’s not cheap but what you get is all-around worth paying for. Thanks!

    Beautiful space, generous spacing, elegant tableware, excellent service. The food was delicious, with generously sized portions, although a tad fussy and a bit too rich. Our only drawback was the overly insistent and loud music, which elevated the sound level too much. But overall, highly recommended for the food.

    Delicious food, inspired combinations, fun atmosphere. Really great meal. I did a round of house oysters, the raw yellowtail with black garlic and potato chips, and the swordfish schnitzel with jasmine rice slaw. Outstanding flavor and food.

    The food was much better than I expected and very flavorful. We started with some cocktails which were great. We had grilled octopus and sardines on toasted sourdough bread for appetizers. The sardines were fantastic. The service was excellent.

    From start to finish, absolutely delicious. We had four different appetizers and four different entrées and they were all wonderfully prepared, not overly seasoned so the flavor of the ingredients really came through so beautifully. Can’t wait to go back.

    Amazing, fantastic, incredible, impeccable, Quite possibly the best Meal I’ve had. The service wonderful, Cory (server) was knowledgeable, guided to proper wine(s) and choices. Did I say amazing experience? Have 4 more days in Philadelphia, just might have to go back again. Pescatarian, I had grilled octopus starter….Black Sea Bass w/Royal Red Shrimp main.     Amazing experience as usual and the staff made even more special and memorable. Erica is a super star. She’s a hotelier at heart and her hospitality gene is dominant. Love her approach and attitude and most importantly her recommendations. Will be back and ask for Erica
