Vernick Fish presents Philadelphia’s own, Chef Greg Vernick’s exploration beyond the boundaries of a seafood restaurant. His ingredient-driven cooking style, paired with a love for global flavors, results in an inventive menu of fish and shellfish dishes, and a range of vegetable preparations. Taking a detailed, seasonal, and sustainable approach with small and large plate offerings, the kitchen brings new life to the favorite hallmarks of American oyster bar fare and raw bar.     Vernick Fish is an outstanding restaurant with a creative menu and great staff. Our waiter, Sarah, was a great source for trying the various menu items. Sorry, Sarah, I don't think we tipped you enough. We'll be back.

    Fantastic dining experience. Our server was extremely attentive and the food was outstanding. Only complaint would be this - if you are seated facing the window, once it gets dark out the headlights from vehicles exiting the parking garage across the street are blinding. Perhaps some shades or tinted glass would go a long way.

    Outstanding!! This is our favorite Philly restaurant now. Service is impeccable, super creative menu, the freshest seafood, the BEST yellowtail crudo we’ve ever had, and the house sourdough with brown butter is to die for.

    My dining experience at Vernick Fish was spectacular from start to finish. The Hostesses were welcoming. My guest and I arrived for our 5 pm reservation on time and were seated immediately. The ambiance was vibrant and lively. Our server was knowledgeable of the food and drink menu and made great recommendations. She remained attentive throughout our dining experience. We ordered the sardines and sourdough, crispy octopus, endive and baby gem, whole fried sea bream, fried asparagus, and grilled olive oil cake for dessert. The food was fresh, flavorful, good quality, and great value. The portions were appropriate, but we did not finish our food as it was plenty for two. I'm looking forward to returning for dinner to try other menu items that appeal to me.

    The initial greeting was delayed and waitress was not responsive. She ignored me for a while until I brought it to another colleagues attention. I have dined at the restaurants many times and have always had a good experience.

    Great business dinner . Overall food was very good and on point. Not many vegetarian option though, someone from the party had not much choice. Service was a little distant and not attentive to refill / ask for more wine
