Vernick Coffee Bar

Reservations are available in the full-service café for both breakfast and lunch. The takeaway area includes open seating for up to 48 guests, an excellent walk-in destination for all day dining. Vernick Coffee Bar is open Monday-Friday.
My favorite spot for civilized, delicious lunch. Food is amazing and mostly healthy.
Just came for a simple breakfast with my wife as part of spending the day in the city. The setting was really attractive, the service attentive without being overbearing, and the food--oatmeal souffle and basket of pastries--was outstanding. We'll be back.
Lunch was wonderful. Wild mushroom grain bowl with avocado has great flavor and texture and delicious. Attentive wait staff without being overbearing. Busy but not noisy - an unusual combination so that we could talk comfortably. Win/win!
The best service because it’s staffed with Four Seasons personnel, Lovely location overlooking the tree-laden lobby of the Comcast Tech Ctr. Great server and very good food. Maintenance d, or manager, Theresa is charming and special.
The food was good. But there are issues. They serve tiny little greasy Parmesan type crackers as the bread basket but nobody explains what they are when they put them down and when we asked for some more traditional bread or rolls we were given some sourdough a tiny quantity of tiny slices and charged two dollars each. This is at a place where the total lunch bill was $130 for three people - charging two dollars a person for mediocre bread is dumb. The menu is limited and the food is very saucy... to get a plain grilled piece of fish was impossible. There are three mediocre wine choices by the glass. There are plenty of waitstaff around but you need to stand up and jump up and down to get their attention. I felt that they were not well trained and yet snooty. A very weird vibe with the waitstaff. In the full-service fish restaurant vernick fish with the same of ownership the waitstaff is terrific. The napkins are very linty and got white lint on my black outfit- I asked ahead of time and the hostess guaranteed me that they are lint free. Also distressing because I saw that they did have some black napkins available. It seems like what I am sure is quite competent management in the company that runs this restaurant has just not really paid attention to details because it’s maybe its stuck over to the side of the Comcast lobby. There’s so much potential with this cute little place but they really have to get it together. The food was delicious, if not over sauced.

Nicole was person
Coffee bar serves wine and beer as well as lunch .upscale coffee spot with limited table seating
Youthful work crowd vibe . Food was great!
We enjoyed the lunch entrees. the crab and avocado tartine was delish! Also enjoyed the mushroom miso!
Service was spot on.
Excellent service and beautiful presentation! Three of us ordered the chilled shrimp salad and found it a bit spicy. One person had the roast beef sandwich and loved it.
Service is always delightful. And the oatmeal soufflé is delicious.
Initially, this very open restaurant/coffee bar in the new Comcast Technology Center lobby looks attractive, but not a place where you might expect to eat a truly amazing lunch. There's coffee of course, casual food to go, and amazing pastries and desserts (DO NOT SKIP) but if you're seated for lunch, there's a very thoughtful menu of select entrees. Our party of four each chose a different selection, and no one wanted to share! The shrimp with soba noodles had a delicious unami flavor. Check out the towering cold brew contraption and make a reservation for the full lunch effect. The space is lively but not too noisy.
Every once in a while, a restaurant stumbles. I’ve never had a less than exceptional meal at a Vernick restaurant and the service has always been professional—exactly what one expects, until now. Can’t explain it but our server did EVERYTHING wrong. From too long a wait to take our order to not bringing the complimentary crackers to waiting too long for our food to not clearing the table to not asking if we wanted dessert or beverages, I finally had to ask for the manager. The result of that conversation, a reduction in our bill, was much appreciated and not necessary. I hope our server was simply having a bad day. If not, Vernick deserves better.

I brought friends for lunch as a birthday celebration. Food was delicious, setting was wonderful, service was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend Vernick Coffee Bar for any reason.... don't miss the carrot cake pie for dessert!
Excellent new breakfast/lunch/brunch spot in the new Comcast Technology Tower. Recognized a lot of faces in the dining room--giving it a "Power Philly" breakfast feel. Creative and exciting entree choices. We had the oatmeal souffle (very cool) and the "eggs in purgatory" (a shukshaka-like dish). Both quite flavorful and filling. Good beverage options as well. Did not get a chance to try the baked goods--next time.
Really great surprise to have a “coffee shop” be such elevated dining. The round table was perfect for our group of six. The environment is vibrant with views of the lower level of Comcast and the soaring ceilings. My grain bowl was the best I’ve ever had, interesting mushroom combo, perfectly cooked grain, a delicious drizzle that had just a hint of wasabi flavor. A few others raved about the grilled Romaine salad and the tuna tartare plate. Both were beautifully presented. Lots of great coffee & tea options and even a few wine choices. Service was efficient, friendly and respectful of our group get together. Terrific meet up spot.
Service just outstanding from beginning to end. Food wonderful.
Same fine quality as the original location. Loved the romaine salad and the cheese crackers and the butternut squash soup and just everything else.
Really great, wonderful food, terrific service and delicious coffee.
Could use a bigger menu
We came for the Sparkling tasting event and it was awesome.
The food is excellent, I had the spicy miso soup (which isn't spicy), crab and avocado tartine, which were both great. The ambiance in the newest Comcast Tower is very relaxed with great natural light despite being next to a busy office lobby.
Had lunch and enjoyed the Nicoise — was somewhat surprised it wasn’t on more greens. Service started out great but our server didn’t return after food was served to offer pepper/salt (I would have liked some) and none was on the table.

Food was great, service was spotty. Love the vibe.
Great lunch bowls
Beautiful and yummy food in a super mod and yet intimate setting. Kind and conscientious staff
Super cool conveniently located space. Service was good but a bit slowish. Shrimp Soba dish is the pick. Tuna Niciose so so. A bit on pricey side for what you get. Would return for convenience but more for coffee/pastries than lunch.

I took a friend for a Birthday lunch. Wonderful service wonderful food just all around great.
Two of the four of us are gluten free and the wait staff was very accommodating in helping us to make our selections. I love the squash soup. It is excellent! The wait staff is highly helpful and plentiful. I'd definitely recommend Vernick's Coffee Bar to anyone looking for a "special" place to have a lunch date.
Delicious breakfast and outstanding service! Hot coffee and I was able to hear my table mate. That's priceless.
Business lunch
We had the friendliest food runner guy ever. He deserves a raise. I had a tasty crab avocado toast and my husband enjoyed his udon shrimp dish. We bought a bunch of baked goods and so far they all were very good, specially the croissants.
Bakery items are exceptional
Servers very helpful and friendly
Service was disappointing. We sat at the dining area and no one came to check on us until I went to the bar area to put in an order. Space is nice enough although I was expecting a more intimate atmosphere.

This is not your place if you're looking for eggs and hash browns. On the other hand, if you're motivated to try the wonderful oatmeal soufflé or one of the quiches, you're at the right place. I was disappointed in the pastry basket for $10. Warning--they choose the pastries not you. No croissant among the three pastries selected. Instead a slice of pumpkin loaf, that was very ordinary. Great coffee.

Delicious, creative food and drinks and spectacular desserts all in a really lovely atmosphere. Excellent staff!
No need for a reservation - the cash and carry area is easy to grab a coffee or beverage and light bite or sweet. I made a reservation not knowing and felt as if I was bothering the servers in the reserved section. The reservation was made for a business meeting, and despite the server who made us feel like we were bothering her cause we only ordered drinks (it is a coffee bar), the meeting went well.

The building is impressive in and of itself, and the Vernick Coffee Bar space is open and relaxed. The food was good, although I wish my acai bowl had more acai (switching the proportions of the bowl around). I look forward to trying some of the pastries next time!
Went to lunch with friends and their young baby after walking around the city all morning. Called ahead to ask about stroller stowage and high chair options. The Hostess was incredibly considerate, professional and made it work for us. She was very clearly also being extremely considerate of preserving a certain level of experience for fellow diners while accommodating us. Thanks for a great, stressless meal in a place that is better for business than babies! Food was EXCELLENT and building is gorgeous. Tea and coffee bar look very inviting.
This was our first time at Vernick’s Coffee Bar, and we were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of both the food and the service. Plus, the new Comcast Center is amazing. We will definitely go back.
