Good food, quality service
Great meal for our friends from out of town. Always so fresh and healthful spin on traditional Mexican dishes
Great meeting place for a business dinner. Attentive wait staff. Something on the menu for every imaginable dietary need. Every was delicious. Only hassle is parking.
great place for "mixed diet" groups, accommodating those on restricted foods as well as offering great selections for those who are not. service was excellent, food was great. would absolutely return
Great food. And great place if you have dietary restrictions.
The food was so bland, that i didn’t finish 3/4 of my meal and left hungry. They called it “chicken fajitas” but was really a bowl of baked chicken, kale, carrots, a piece of onion and a side of garbanzo beans and 2 corn tortillas. Not like any fajitas I’ve had! Despite looking well seasoned, it had no flavor! My fiance said his steak was “not like BAD bad, just bad”. Service and atikoapgwde were fine.
Great food with fresh ingredients for a reasonable price. Plus lots of delish vegan options.
Creative preparations, fresh ingredients, deliciousness served in a friendly, engaging manner by people that really seemed to be concerned with your enjoyment of the food and experience- nice job!
Food was great. A little on the expensive side for what you’re getting.
The vegan fajitas with grilled shrimp; to die for!
well prepared and good food albeit somewhat expensive
About average, large portions.
My date and I were impressed with the uniqueness and quality of the food. Not another Chevy's by any means, but still familiar enough so as to satisfy less than gourmet tastes.
Fantastic food. The brussel sprouts with bacon are amazing and could make a full meal by themselves. Having a menu with paleo and vegan options was great.
Excellent find! Tasty food! The brussel sprout appetizer was on point!
Always delicious. Highly recommended. Brunch is my favorite!
The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Theyvare always great here. Love the food and the people
We were blown away by this place. As someone who eats vegan and gluten free especially amongst a group of others who don’t have restrictions, it was amazing to have such a huge menu of options for all of us.
But most impressive was the food itself. Just wow.
This restaurant had great vegan options. I would definitely go again.
Excellent food! I wish there was a location in SE Portland. Only disappointment is that there is no decaf coffee.
The food looked delicious - very nicely presented but we all commented how the meat was so bland - no seasoning except the pork. Pork had nice seasoning but chicken and beef had zero seasoning so very bland.
Thankful to the staff for serving such a large group excellently, but the food was really quite bad.
Went for dinner before a play at the Armory
The food was healthy and tasty and they had plenty of vegan options for the plant-based eaters in our party!
Delicious food but 3 stars because the service was very poor. Our server was unfriendly and miserable. We went for brunch and it wasn't busy at all -- maybe 3 or 4 other groups in the entire place so there truly was no justification for the poor service.
Had family in town and they loved the food & cocktails! Kid friendly and warm and friendly staff!
Great food and service.
We took out-of-town visitors, knowing that it would cater to all our differing food tastes, and it more than fulfilled all our expectations.
Food was good and was a novel fusion of traditional dishes with a modern take. Overall our server was very good too. However, the hostess that ignored us while making ride huffs as she walked by made our first experience in the restaurant quite off putting. This only got worse when she decided it was time to seat us. Truly one of the rudest people and worst service experiences I and the rest of my party has ever had. We ended up leaving after apps to find another place it was so bad. For Management's reference, it was the female hostess working at approximately 7:30 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2019. Our actual server was very good, but the damage was done and we could not continue our patronage in good conscience.
Great food and Marguerites!
Atmosphere was cramped - not the best spot for a large party.
Food portions were large and well plated.
Food was prepared well, and did not have any flaws.
Service was very "Portland" ... the waiter was aloof, did not know that many people in our party were not aware that the restaurant was gluten free.
It was a strange fusion of vegan and hispanic foods. Overall not outstanding and I would not make a special trip to eat there again.
Everything was good except for the service was bad considering we were pretty much the only ones in there. The food was good.
Restaurant was annoyed at our presence. Waitress forgot to put food order in and then we had to leave for a show. I told them when we arrived that we had to leave an hour later for a show.
Part of our party had an emergency and could not make it. We offered to move so they could free up more tables and the waitress got very irritated and told us not to bother.
Fresh, healthy food that tastes delicious. A fun place to eat and you can feel good afterwards!
I've been to the Hillsdale location multiple times, so when I had out of town friends staying in the Pearl, I assumed this would be a great restaurant to share. Only one table was occupied when we arrived, and we also had reservations, even though the restaurant was so empty. The two servers ignored us for a while before saying they'd be right with us. Then our hostess/server was not only unsmiling and unfriendly, she was to the point of rude our entire stay. We felt as if we were interrupting her time by being there. When she took our drink orders, she looked bored and impatient and we felt rushed. Because of this one server, I would not go back to this location. The food was as delicious as it is in Hillsdale.
For a 630 reservation on a Friday it wasn’t overly full which was nice. We were served one drink in the first 35 min. We ordered an appetizer which was upon reflection the best part of the meal. Tried to order a second drink twice and with no luck for a total of another 20 min. Then sat on the bar for another 10 after that. Main course was underwhelming from all of the rave reviews we read I just didn’t get it. Maybe it was an off night in the kitchen. The fajitas were served soggy, and the the replacement ones offered burned fingers. The chicken served with the fajitas was a mess and there was a large puddle of whatever the dinner was cooked in pooled at the bottom of the plate. Honestly, I try to find the positive is most experiences, however for the price tag and overall service level here was dismal. I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend.
I found the construction of the dishes to be very off putting. Kinda a big pile of all the ingredients slopped together. This was the case on several dishes. Super off and unappetizing.
Always a wonderful experience!
