Our Neapolitan Pizzas

Verde's twelve inch pizzas are crafted with the combination of authentic ingredients and methods used in the 150 year old art of Neapolitan pizza-making. Our homemade dough is created using preservative-free Italian '00' flour, which is milled and blended in Italy, using the finest grains from around the world. Our Pizzaioli use traditional Neapolitan techniques to gently press and stretch the dough on a stone surface to form a light, airy crust. The pizzas are baked in a wood-burning oven at a blistering 850°F for 90 seconds, creating signature charred "leopard spots" and a crisp, yet soft crust-hallmarks of Neapolitan pizza. Premium ingredients are featured on all of our pizzas, including housemade fior di latte mozzarella, imported bufala mozzarella and other cheeses, sauce made from San Marzano tomatoes, Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, fresh herbs and local seasonal vegetables when available. Our gluten free pizzas are made with 100% gluten free flour, imported from Italy. They are prepared in a kitchen containing flour and may contain trace amounts of gluten flour. Add $6

The pizzas we ordered were better than anticipated, and I had high expectations. Service was quick, attentive, and friendly, despite being close to closing. I am planning on coming back frequently. The pizza is a little expensive, but it’s top notch, nonetheless.

Everyone was really nice and the food was amazing. All the other positive reviews are true it’s just really great pizza. They have an extensive pizza and drinks menu so if you’re indecisive or picky just stick to what you like and you can’t go wrong!

I made a reservation for me and 5 friends and we were placed in the private room on the 2nd floor and it was an awesome experience. All the food we ordered was delicious! I go back here every few months because my husband and I love this place!

Jose was an amazing server! He was well verse on the pizzas and drinks that would pair well with the food. I would recommend Thursday Night Date Night, you can't beat two pizzas, an appetizer and dessert for $60.00!

We had a reservation for two and specified it was for our Anniversary. Hostess tried to seat us at a small table for two right next to the kitchen. I asked for a different and larger table. She said she couldn't seat us at a larger table due to other reservations. They also were short staffed, so did not seat anyone upstairs. While the hostess moved us to another very small table slightly farther away from the kitchen area, other groups of 2 who arrived after us were seated at the larger tables. This was very disappointing. We were cramped up against a wall and didn't stay long due to the suboptimal seating. The food and drinks, however, were great as usual.

We came for the date night special and when we ordered we forgot to ask for the GF crust. When we asked to modify our order, Tyler made it happen without hesitation. The GF crust is so good we forgot that it’s not the standard crust. Thanks All!

Dinner here was my wife’s birthday request and we all had a great experience. Service and food were fantastic. With advance reservations, they accommodated the seniors in our party with first floor seating. We love Neapolitan pizza, and Verde has one of the best. It was a great birthday!

Decent food but way too expensive. Two twelve inch pizzas were almost $50. Our meatball appetizer was cold. We ate at the bar and the bartender was friendly. Service overall was very good.

To start off the food was amazing but the service was terrible. Our table of 7 was seated and waiting for over 10 minutes before a waiter even came over. We watched as the bartender and other waiters talked about who was going to serve us which was off putting. Our server took our order and only came over once after that. At the end of our meal, we all stacked our dishes. When the bus boy came over we jokingly said “sorry we didn’t stack these too well” and he said “yeah no you didn’t”. Overall good food but most likely won’t be coming back.

My husband and I were craving a margherita pizza after watching Stanley Tucci searching for Italy on HBO. While I am sure an authentic margherita pizza in Naples would be otherworldly delicious, Verde did not disappoint! I got the pizza con burrata and it was delicious! Just what I had been craving. It was even delicious the next day reheated.

I (25) came here on Friday night w my sister (28) & cousin (26) for dinner & drinks as they were visiting me at my new place for the first time. We were seated normally, our server asking if we wanted to start off w something to drink. We asked for another minute to look at the menu, & ordered 3 glasses of wine when she returned. She asked for our IDs & commented on how we were from “all over” (NY, PA, MD). We laughed politely & she walked away. She came back a moment later asking to see them again. We said of course & she took the NY ID, bending it & calling over another server to check. He said everything looked good to him & they walked away. The waitress came back a third time, looked at my sister (28, PA ID) & said she didn’t feel comfortable serving her & couldn’t risk her job/their license. I asked if they had a scanner, & she looked at me like I had 3 heads. I asked if they could look at her social media and see her life and career milestones, & she reiterated she needed a “legal form of ID”. We were laughing in astonishment as was the table next to us, while she called over a third server to now check our IDs. The server apologized saying they all looked ok, and we were brought our first (& only) glass of wine, as we were denied the second glass upon request. The waitress was rude, rolling her eyes & talking loudly about us at a nearby table. For the first time in my life I requested to speak with the manager. I explained to him how I would not have stayed or ordered food at his establishment if I knew I wasn’t going to be able to continue drinking as we intended. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable paying for the entire meal. He stared at me for 30 seconds without saying a word, as if to say “so what?” He said he had the right to refuse us service, and when I said it was too late for that & to take back the decision to serve us ridiculously bizarre. He then OFFERED ME ANOTHER GLASS ? Again, contradictory & bizarre. We were forced to pay full price.

Unfortunately, the reason I don’t give Verde a good ranking anymore was the service we received dining there last night. We made a reservation and when we arrived, we were told to wait 45 minutes. When I inquired about the reason, the seating hostess was very abrupt and rather rude. She told me it was so I could be placed in a line to wait and that she couldn’t guarantee a space for us. She then accused me that I was requesting other guests to leave so I could be seated, which I was not. It was a little off putting and ruined the experience for me.

Food was great as always. However, we felt pressured to finish eating quick. We were asked about 4 times if we wanted to bag our food. Not sure if restaurant week was a factor on that.

The Brunch menu is really limited and the food was fine I wouldn’t write to a friend about it. There were 5 to 6 workers that seemed to be doing multiple tables and at the time we went it wasn’t that busy we still waited a while for everything.

Enjoyed our cocktails and meal. Portions are smaller than I expected from an Italian place (had lasagna and a salad) so recommend getting an app too if hungry.

We love Verde soooo much! It’s honestly THE closest pizza to REAL pizza in Naples Italy… This experience was extra special. We celebrated a few bdays with family. It was so nice to take everyone to a restaurant we love soooo much!
