At Verbena, Chef Scott Morozin is presenting composed and refined American Cuisine. Verbena is a small 36 seat BYOB in an intimate setting. We offer our guests a high standard of cuisine and service. We source our products locally whenever possible, yet quality is the highest priority. Our menu changes frequently and seasonally. As we grow, we will present to our guests a continuous evolution in fine cuisine. Our menu changes almost daily and each component is prepared from scratch in house. Chef Tastings of 6, 8, and 10 course menus are available daily by request.

As we are a BYOB, we do not serve alcohol. We have a non-alcoholic beverage program that lends itself very well to any spirits our guests may like to bring. We do have a corkage fee for wine but our guests are welcome to bring beer and spirits at no additional charge.

My wife and I invited a couple out to dine with us as we love BYOB's. Everyone enjoyed their entree. Our waitress was very knowledgable about the menu and how every dish was prepared. The entire staff was friendly and attentive to the details.

Very delicious & memorable dining experience. A meal you’ll fondly remember. I highly recommend this unique restaurant. Everything is prepared with fresh & unusual ingredients, a symphony of beautiful flavors. A rare find & a definite must if you’re anywhere in the area.

This was our second visit to Verbena. The first visit blew us away. This time, I was not impressed with the menu. I hope it was because it was Mother's day weekend. The choices were very dull. I really wanted the chicken that was on the menu in the winter. Alas there was no poultry at all. I ordered a fettuccini that had ground chicken. That was disappointing. My husband ordered the ribeye. It looked good to me, but it was not medium rare, it was very rare. I hope the chef gets back to more creative choices. He is certainly capable of it.

Loved this BYO. It was a bit of a drive for us but well worth it. Our Server Nenayre was a gem. The pace of the meal was perfect; not rushed and not slow. My Partner is Vegan and there were Vegan options available on the menu. Try the Asarasi Tree Water; so delicious. I loved the Lamb Kofta for a starter and the Lancaster Farm Chicken. Everything on the menu was so tempting so we will be back.

I’ve been hearing about Verbena from local foodie friends and then read the write up in Chadds Ford JunXion magazine and decided I had to try this place. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a reservation on a weekend on short notice so we went on a Tuesday night. I figured what better way to experience it all then the 6-course chef’s tasting menu and I am still smiling and thinking about the creative and delicious food. One of my guests is a world traveler and his comments and body language said this place surprised him on the upside. The chef came out and spoke with us for what seemed like 20 minutes or more and my world traveler friend was totally engaged with him. 5 Stars from this food and wine snob!

We had the privilege of enjoying Chef Scott's tasting menu. He accommodated 2 vegeterians in the group. Our meal was fresh, delicious, creative and beautifully presented. Kudos to Chris, our server. A 'must' when in Kennet Square.

We truly enjoyed our visit to Verbena. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The chef/owner who is Hyde Park CIA trained came out to greet the diners and welcome us. A very nice touch.
