I love this place i also stayed at the hotel and it was also amazing
Great good and Service! Definitely recommend them. The drinks were also very good.
Terrible experience! 30 minutes in to our dinner reservation we were asked by the waiter if we could eat quickly as he was closing the area we were seated in.
Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, I was extremely disappointed.
We arrived and were seating promptly. The staff was great the drinks were strong and the limited menu was tasty. Overall had a great experience. I live in the DTLA South Park community so we walked but I’m sure parking can be tough so take that into consideration if you do make it out.
Quaint & Quiet an Experience!! The al fresco style was complimented with a poolside view and amazing hotel decor. Blissful dining experience. I’ve already recommended this to my friends!
Easy. Table side ordering was a breeze. Great ambiance and atmosphere.
Great food and margs!!
Really yummy Mexican and nicely done margs!!!
The restaurant was nice. The seating near the pool made it a nice setting. The food is overpriced. I paid a lot of money for chips and guacamole. The guacamole was just smashed avocado which wasn’t even finished being smashed. There were huge chunks so the chips kept breaking and no seasoning. The contactless service was a really nice feature though. One, because of covid and two, just because it was really nice not to be bothered by the waiters while we ate. The bite I had was a squash quesadilla and it was really nice.
Awesome experience and wonderful service!
They had like 3 things on their menu nothing of what is on the yelp page ... all seafood ... horrible service ... we left
We were served with plastic cups/plates/utensils for dinner. Not impressed
Veranda is DTLA’s best kept secret. All aspects are perfect - atmosphere, food and drink quality, service.
Everything about the experience was great- except the paper plates. The food was wonderful , service helpful and view by the pool was lovely. The only reason for an overall 4 is the paper plates... i realize this is Covid related but it does take away from the experience. I would happily go back as the food is delish.
Food is terrible. You pay online as you order even before they bring you anything. All in to go plates and drinks in plastic cups.
The food and service was exceptional. Just what I would expect from the hotel and restaurants
Menu was completely different online than what was available on site
Love the food and everything else with it, we are going back. Love it all!
The ambiance is stellar. Amazing hotel. Beautiful spaces.
We were sat without being told a waiter wouldn’t be serving us. It took my date and I about 7 minutes before we realized that we had to order our food and pay using our phone and the menus on the table. Once we figured it out, The food came quickly (on paper plates) and was very tasty. We had to remind a waiter that we still hadn’t received the desserts we ordered. I think under normal circumstances I would have enjoyed the service more however it was minimal at best.
Service was horrible, staff was rude and super slow.
Because of covid they only allow order to be made online though your phone. the system doesn't allow any changes which is a bummer in case you are allergic or want to take something away. other then that we ate the DINE LA menu which was great. The fish was a little dry but the pickled veggies were great along with the shrimp ceviche and quesadilla we shared. Ambiance is great, the hotel holds so much character and sitting out on the patio while the sun sets over LA added such a great vibe to the whole place.
I do wish they used glass cups and plates, having the food come out on paper plates and plastic cups, also better for the environment. All in all, would definitely come back to try more food and enjoy the great ambiance.
The drink were terrible and the ceviche didn’t seem fresh.
Beautiful space and delicious food and drinks
great food and ambiance, followed covid guidelines and very clean and attentive
Understaffed and not friendly.
Hubby and I came here in the late afternoon for drinks on our anniversary. The staff was so nice to us, helped us find the best spot to sit, brought us free champagne, and were overall just super friendly. The drinks were delicious, the ambiance was fun (even with Covid). We were so glad we came and will definitely be back!
Food was okay nothing special, fries were out of the freezer not fresh, drinks were in plastic cups, and the service was whatever.
Obviously with covid 19 the menu is much much shorter... only a handful of okay selections. Very expensive for what it was but then again you’re going for the ambiance.
Very nice layout and tasty food.
Had a problem ordering food with the new contactless service, but probably my fault using the app.
Love this place. Ive been coming here for a year and it’s one of my favorites in DTLA. Mexican food is delicious 😋
Very limited menu choices
Dining area is very poor
It was great!! Ceviche and drinks are wonderful!! GreaT escape during quarantine
Beautiful place but only tacos are served on menu.
This is expensive for Mexican food. Everything is a la carte. Chips and salsa , rice and beans all extra.
Drinks were average price$12.00 a margarita with very little alcohol. Minimum 2 drinks to feel anything. No need for ride sharing. The food was delicious and service was spot on. But after an appetizer, entree and dessert I was still hungry. I weigh less than 105 lbs. servings could be larger.
The space was a little chilly. Fortunately, I was seated next to the fire place. It is after all, on the Veranda and open.
The restaurant was closed and yet still appears on Open Table as being open for lunch
Overall good experience! A recommended establishment.
Amazing experience, amazing food, beautiful ambiance. What a hidden gem in the middle of downtown LA
Aside from the great food, staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall a great dining experience.
Very tasteful and elegant
beautiful food in a beautiful setting. would definitely go back.
