Verace: True Italian Ratings and Reviews
Went for Thanksgiving day . 3 people . And the service was horrible from beginning to end .
The place wasn't that busy at time . 530, 6pm .
My waitress was not in the mood of been helpful nor nice .
I don't recommend this place to go on a special holiday, is gonna be a true disappointment.
They don't seem to know how to cook a Medium-Rare Steak probably the most expensive item on the menu and it's barely pink in the center. The were willing to take it back but I never trust anyone when sending food back. The did send over desert to make it up for it
My wife and I have been eating at Teller's next door for years ... but this was our first experience at Verace with our friends and We Loved It!
From the moment I met Mario I knew that I was going to have a GREAT experience!
Many thanks to my new friend, Mario and his all star staff ... we even got a visit from the the Executive Head Chef, Mike during dinner!
My kind of place and I found my new spot!
The Verace Wellington was absolutely superb. The best of the wine dinners yet. The Arancini was also good but the sauce was a little too spicy for my taste. As for the cannoli, I usually can't finish a whole one, but this was so light and tasty, my plate was clean.
What can I say ...the food is always outstanding, the chef is a genius...the combinations of flavors is truly remarkable ....everything from the wine dinners to the main menu is spectacular...a real treat eating in this establishment....this restaurant has the whole package... food , service and the friendly staff make them worth every penny...a must try ..Thank You Verace.....
Excellent food and great service. Decor minimal and it was very noisy. We sat in the upper dining room for dinner and the noise, mostly coming from the lower dining room, at times made talking difficult. This was coupled with the music trying to compete with the other sounds .
I absolutely love Verace . The food is always fantastic with large portions and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is a little loud but I still love the look and I am very comfortable there. It is beautifully designed. Service has always been top notch. Friendly and courteous staff. Well worth the money And the trip.
Was there to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was a group of 7 ladies and we were seated in the upstairs room. Our waiter and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Drinks were good and the food was fresh. In addition the entrees and pastas we ordered were good portions per person. Great time and great experience overall. Everyone in our group said they had a good time and would be back. Looking forward to the warm weather so that we can also experience the outdoor area.
The service was absolutely fantastic. Our waitress Savannah was amazing. The chef was a gentleman and came out to ensure the meal was delicious. However we were a little upset when we both became sick later on in the night. We thought nothing of it but when we spoke with someone who was there the following night and also became sick we became a little hesitant. Would love to rate this place five stars but we can not. The service and ambiance saved them from getting a 1 star review for becoming sick off the food.
We were on the road and searched Italian restaurants and this place jumped out. We showed up with no reservation and they said 45 minutes. Went to open table and got a table for 8:15. Were seated 10 minutes later. Loved the food, ambiance, waiter was great. Greeter was not very greeter friendly. Lots of open tables but acted like it was full. She said would you like to get a drink at the bar next door? A little strange since they had a bar 10 feet away in the restaurant.
Third time is NOT a charm in this instance.
Will not return. Service --- with an attitude.
Food...very average..... noise level...crazy loud. Not just a bad night there as it was our third dinner there and for $170.00 (for two) wish we went to McDonalds (only kidding about that.. but not the review)...goodby Verace
Celebrated my wife's birthday with friends at the Wednesday Harvest Wine Dinner. Enjoyed the wines and the food pairing. Our waiter, Chris was excellent. Attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The meal was beautifully presented and , thanks to Chris, well paced. Overall, a wonderful experience.
