Excellent friendly staff ...nice setting ...great food

We booked a team lunch at Verace and overall it was a good experience. The food was good and fresh, however I would suggest a few changes to make the restaurant more appealing to a modern crowd - salad offerings were very average and reflect what a 'salad' looked like in the 90's i.e VERY basic. It was a hot day and we seated inside - the temperature was unpleasantly warm and to make it worse, the staff were not at all attentive to replenishing the water jugs. I suggest you also get some beers on tap. The toilet was not clean, out of toilet paper and quite disgusting. The staff also decided to increase the music volume just as we sat down which make discussion quite difficult. The display of awards and trophies is quite average and sad and overall I feel detracts from the decor. Let the customers be the judge of your food!

Verace always has great food, great friendly service and a great relaxed atmosphere. The Calamari fritte are the best

Friendly service and excellent food, they were able to seat us 30 min prior to our booking time, which was great. Will definitely come again.

The only downside was that we were sat at the furthest table outside. Got so many mosquito bites during dinnertime, which made for an uncomfortable experience, but nonetheless we will return solely for the pizza!

A family favourite. Never disappointed by their pizza.

First experience of the service staff was not very good with no acknowledgement as I stood waiting at the entry. I had to follow up my booking 3 times before we were sat down. It was very busy but the waitress I spoke to twice kept taking orders from other tables instead of finding me a table even though she said she'll find me a table. Pizza was very good but not exceptional.

Noise levels were very high. Good food and good service.

Had to wait for a table that had been booked (seated 10 mins after booking time, 20mins in total), which is a little disappointing when restaurant has a policy of cancelling bookings that are 15min late. Seems it’s okay for restaurant to be late. :)

Otherwise food was up to its usual excellent quality!

Excellent and genuine food. One of the best pizza I ever had. I would highly recommend it.

The option of a longer seating would be good. Our booking was for 2 hours, with no option (that I could see) to extend it. We would definitely have been keen to kick on for another hour or so. It was a shame to have to leave as we were having a great time.

A great find! Really loved it and the service was fabulous.

Service was horrible. Beware the fine print that sitting for a group is only 1 hour! Wouldn’t turn on the heaters and gave some pathetic excuse. Tried to overcharge us and had a bad attitude about it.

Food was amazing as always, took a few attempts to get salt, pepper and Parm cheese to the table bug otherwise, great!

The food was very pricey and quality was not up to the mark, not coming in again.

We heard about Verace pizzeria a lot so we decided to try which didn’t disappoint us everything was good the portions are big so next time we know how to order . We will go there again soon

Go here a lot. Always consistent good quality food. Being busy with not a lot of staff means you may not get water topped up or staff coming back to ask you if you want another drink. I meet friends there three times a year and we all like it. Not for a quiet romantic dinner but fast good quality food.

I'd eat here above almost anywhere else in Sydney. It's bustling and busy, the food is wonderful (pizza is second to none), and the service is courteous and superbly professional.

Great food, surprise how great the pizzas really were! Wonder why it not easy to get a table without booking prior.

Very nice food and in a quiet area. Make sure to request a table inside otherwise you end up around the corner along Kennard.
