Great to visit!!
By far some of the best food I’ve had. Wine list and cocktails are great also! We will go back for sure! Kelvin took great care of us!
If you are looking for a trendy spot in a Historical hotel give it a try. The food was good, service fair and ambience nice... for a new restaurant we were surprised to see dirty and worn cushions. Fun to try but probably will not return.
Beautiful decor of the restaurant but the experience was not as beautiful. The server was not very attentive, disappeared for long periods of time, and she did not tell me they were out of several items after I spent time asking questions about a few things and ordered them. Then she decided to tell me they were out of them, which was a decent amount of items on the small brunch menu. We ordered bottomless mimosas and rosé but only got refilled twice. We asked for additional refills and that never happened - it defeats the purpose of bottomless if they only allow you a drink or two. The food was fine, nothing spectacular but I was not able to try the items I wanted to because they were out. They were out of duck, so they had chicken and waffles instead of duck and it was pretty good. The hostess was very pleasant and accommodating though.
Disappointed in food
Decent wine selection by the glass
Phenomenal steak tartare. The escargot was an unique presentation
First, we arrived 10 minutes early and had requested a booth in the reservation (there were at least 4 empty booths), and the hostess said if she gave us a booth, we would have to make sure we were out in 90 minutes (nice greeting). We got the booth begrudingly, Secondly, entrees came in fits and spurts. My wife ordered the lobster as an entree which came with brown butter sauce. When the lobster was served it was without the sauce. Five to seven minutes later the sauce arrived, still my steak frites entree was not served. A few minutes later the spinach side arrived, still my entree was missing. After waiting another five or so minutes I asked the person bringing the food out to send the spinach back and warm it until my steak came out. A minute later my steak came out and we had to recall the spinach. So in other words , my entree came out 15-20 minutes after my wife's entree. What the....? Waiter was great, hostess and waiter's assistant not so much. Kitchen seems disorganized and no one was watching the serving sequence.
Delicious food. Especially enjoyed the Lobster Pasta small plate and the old fashioned.
Subpar food for both steak tartare and duck mousse. Duck and waffle is good.
Best brunch in Chicago! The pancakes and seafood tower were amazing!
Brunch was wonderful with Bloody Mary starters and eggs Benedict for the main. Our waiter, Xander, was most attentive and helpful in every way. Great way to spend a Saturday morning!!!
Nice place, nice people, good service. Food was very unremarkable. Not bad but nothing good either. More show and form over substance. Very overpriced too. I enjoyed it. Wouldn’t go back.
Everything was perfect, staff was friendly, knowledgeable and timely. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was amazing. The seafood is very fresh and prepared food was delicious. One of my favorite spots in the city!
Hoping for a lively French style brasserie experience but it was just a generic restaurant. Everything was fine, the food was well prepared and good quality but it was pretty expensive and lacked atmosphere.
Thank you for an enjoyable brunch! The bottomless mimosas were a great deal and the Banh Mi breakfast was out of this world!
Food was good and creative—a little on the pricey side.
A nice selection of French bistro classics plus a good selection of oysters, cocktails and the classic American hamburger.
French toast was mushy and awful sent it back and even though the waitress asked if I wanted something else I didn’t want anything they were offering will never go here again the drink I had was the only decent thing I had
Went for Brunch…the “Eggs 5 ways” were amazing, the French Toast was divine and what’s not to love about bottomless mimosas?!? Service was great and the atmosphere was charming.
Steak not well cooked
Souffle very uncookked at the bottom
Service was good but the food was not
Nice people good quality food. I love the chicken burger and desserts these are my highlights
We had an excellent brunch of 5-way eggs, Croque Monsieur, and Benedict.
Techno/disco was a little loud, and I am not a fan of low lighting mixed with intermittent small, super-bright can lights, one of which I was sitting under. Half our table was in the dark with the other half spot lit. So sit in front room with natural light if you can, would be my advice.
Had a lovely time there. The food was fantastic. Try the roasted corn and leave room for the Grand Marnier soufflé!
Exactly the right amount of attention and interaction but they let the food speak for itself. Perfect French bistro that took us back to Paris Gare du Lyon neighborhood joints and lovely seafood towers. Everything was just great.
Very creative French cuisine. Nothing is as one is used to. The entrees are wonderful especially the steak and the chicken. The caviar plate was terrific. Interesting presentation.
Zander was simply the best server! Charming and knowledgeable, he made our brunch experience extra. Highly recommend the seafood platter too.
Had a few small plates and the grand seafood tower. We described all the food as “dry” and the seafood was improperly prepared and overcooked. This fell short of many similar restaurants in Chicago.
The food here was excellent, really well made bistro favorites and we especially enjoyed the steak frites and the delicious, fresh oysters. Our drinks were superb and the wine list also excellent with a wide variety of choices from different countries. It is not overpriced for the quality. The place definitely has a hip vibe but not at all snooty and our server was top notch.
When we arrived the bar was packed and there was a great vibe! We had delicious drinks and the entree's and sides were some of the best we have had.
I had the salmon and my husband had the halibut. We shared the carrots and marinated cucumber sides. Doesn't sound exciting but both sides were such a mix of flavors.
Can't wait to go back!
2nd time in a week. Great service. At this time we tried the whole duck! The best.
Server was horrible much preferred the bar service at brunch a few days before .
this place is overrated . starting with the service and ending with the food.would not recommend
The escargot was excellent. Overall very good dining experience.
The hostesses were dismissive and unapologetic for us having to wait 20 minutes for a table. Then we were seated at a high top in the bar, asked to moved to another table and were seated near the kitchen. We asked for a booth that had opened, which we were eventually given, grudgingly.
We received our first courses at different times and waited long periods between courses without being checked on. At least there good was good but the way we' were treasured took away from the experience. Won't likely be going back.
Excellent food, high quality and beautifully presented. The staff were great too. Definitely worth a little splurge.
Everything was great. The staff and food were amazing! We will definitely be coming back.
Lots of fun to be there. Good was great and well presented. Service was very good. Delightful fine dining experience
Very hip and cool. Extremely loud. Many marginal entrees. Whole duck good; not great. Salmon very good. Escargot C rating. Eggs basically a mini-omelette. Soufflé not edible. Service nice but ‘off.’ Won’t go back
Great food! Very reasonable prices!
Very loud and over stimulating but the service and food was wonderful
