   I walked in stood in line to the host to confirm my reservation and I was met by this huge bouncer who was very rude announcing that there were no hats allowed in the restaurant. I was shocked that he approached me: because the rule is no hat in the dining room not the restaurant. I look up to him and say. I know the etiquette of restaurants: I’ve been here before. At this point I wasn’t being nice because his approach wasn’t necessary. He then proceeded to tell me that I was going to check my hat which I didn’t. I honestly have never been so uncomfortable in my life. I frequent this restaurant and I’ve come in the door with my hat on before and I remove it on my own without being told. I sat down an I asked for the manager. He took a long time to come but I explained my experience. He was apologetic and very professional. I have to admit that the food here is amazing and It would be a horrible thing to loose business over this aggressive big guy. I’m still going to go here at least one more visit to see if I happened to come in on a bad day this guy was having. Up to now I have never met a big guy who wasn’t a gentle giant. I work in the industry and I see bouncer’s almost every day. He made the experience dark. If you have an issue with this guy. Call the manager. If he’s really a nasty person he shouldn’t be working in this popular establishment.

   I’ve been to La and ton three or four times and every time I go back the service and the food gets worse. And then you’re paying for high-quality food and you’re getting poor quality food and service. I will not be attending your place again thank you for everything. Hopefully you’ll resolve your issues and you can get more business. Thank you.

   A lot of atmosphere but the food was not up to par. They have an entire sushi menu, but the quality was poor. The fish was tasteless and it seemed that the rolls were remade -not fresh!

   The food has no seasoning. It was overcooked and dry. You snuck in a tip without my consent. Just deplorable. I can get better service in midtown

   The venue is beautiful and the ambiance during brunch is super chill. Smooth tunes from the live band and comfortable volume level as well. The food and drinks were good! We had margaritas and you can't go wrong with these beauties - the taste was refreshing and the added kick of Don Julio paired up nicely. Recommend this place for families, dates, or girl time during brunch. Great scene!

   They turned our Friday night into a nightmare. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. We had a reservation of 4 people and 2 of our friends were running late as a fire alarm got off in their house. We requested the front staff to let us seat as we were hungry and I have a health condition but they refused to let us seat till all 4 of us were here. The food was average and it took 1 hr to get the food after ordering. I wouldn’t come back to this place even if it was free.

    I won't be returning to this establishment. It's one big vacuum to clean out your wallet. They charged $10 for valet parking plus tip. They automatically charge 18% tip on the bill. Then the waitress reminds you that any additional tip I would like to include would go to her directly to her and that cash is preferable. They also have attendants in the restroom that squirts the soap into your hands and of course you have to tip those guys because they are standing in the bathroom for hours. They play the music so loud that people have to shout to be heard by the other people at their table. It was a total disappointment. I'll stick with the restaurants in Montclair and Ridgewood.

    When arriving I had to pay $25 (cash only) for the valet. They charge you 18% included gratuity, that being said, the service was so-so, the staff seemed tired and unhappy. The food was pricey but some dishes were really good. Not my best restaurant experience. I don’t think I’m returning.

    Not much to say my wife and have going here for awhile now and service is always great as well as the food the atmosphere was amazing we had such great time for this Father's day the menu was prefix and priced $170 with some decent menu options drinks were not included but it wasn't a big deal but really they were I had two frozen margaritas very good our waiter was amazing he even tool our pictures can't wait to go back there again

    Food was good, but not great. NY strip was super fatty, and everything like the sides were ala carte, which is fine, but portions were very small fornthe price. Gratuity of 18% was also automatic, but service was not up to that value. We had a birthday at our table, and they didn't do anything except let us choose a dessert, they charged us, brought it over and dropped off - no singing by the staff or nothing special at all for a birthday. Server explained, it was a policy not to do anything. With a few drinks, expect your tab to be over $500 for a group of 4 - for that much money, if a great meal is sought after, you can find better places for the price. Energy of the restaurant is vibrant and a scene - go for that, not the food.

    Everyone was very welcoming and friendly . Amazing food and ambiance . Follow Dress code! Saw peopl coming in with timberlands , or streetwear. Come presentable saw Mutiple people refused . It’s a nice place so bring out your nice polos/ button ups .

    Loved the ambiance. Went with my wife for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and had a great time. Food was delicious. I definitely recommend this place. I will be revisiting soon.

    Was very disappointed! I have been going here for years and the service has gone down, prices up, & 20% gratuity was added on for a reservation of 2! The manager Angel is great but they need an overhaul of their staff for hostesses to waiters and bartenders!

    The octopus wasn’t cooked enough. They forgot to bring out our Lobster Dumplings. The Branzino was overcooked. We were sitting outside. They turned on the space heaters. It was so hot, we were burning up. We asked them to lower the heat. They refused. Had to move to another table! All in all, not a great experience.

    I had a great time at Ventanas. The ambience was beautiful and server Elyza had a very pleasant attitude. She did her best to accommodate my friend who has dietary issue. She was truly a sweetheart. I would definitely recommend this for a birthday celebration.

    Our first time at Ventanas. We were celebrating a few birthdays. Bishop was our sever and he was excellent, very attentive and provided great suggestions. The ambience is beautiful with outdoor, beautiful backdrop for pictures...a very lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed it!

    limited menu, lack of staff "problem in the kitchen", limited drinks out of 50% of food and drink. Waiter didnt come over ever. Asst waitress who was pleasant but had no knowledge of food or drink wasted alot of time. We had to leave after 30 minutes waiting for a waiter to come by. Shame on you David Burke.

    Went for my husbands 40th, it was perfect. They take professional photos of you and frame them for you to purchase at the end of the night which was a big hit! Will definitely be my new spot for special occasions.

    I really enjoyed my dinner at Ventana's. Of course I wasn't paying the bill, as it was a business dinner. My Body Heat cocktail was delicious, but not sure it was worth the $27 price tag. Our waiter Jeisson was amazing. Very helpful and great attitude. I ordered the Yellowtail Jalapeño appetizer which was good, not GREAT. We also got the Clothesline Bacon which was really good but again...pricey for 3 pieces of bacon. For our entrees we ordered the Ventana Roll which was good, not GREAT, the Crispy Pork Shank which was good and the Mahi Mahi which was Good. The Hipster Fries were AMAZING but...pricey. We had the Churros which were really good. I really live the space and the vibe and would like to go back to experience the outdoor space. It was raining so we couldn't take advantage of this. Of course if/when I go back...it will need to be a business dinner as the price tag is a bit high for me.

    Great ambiance. My wife and I love coming here because we like the energy, the crowd, the food, and the service is always nice. We look forward to coming back in the summer; I’m sure the outdoor patio and bar will be amazing.

    The beauty of the setting is not matched by all other features of this noisy place with average food and excessively slow service. Our family does not appreciate the policy of serving only when all guests are present, as our daughter lives an hour away, and traffic can be brutal.

    We had brunch on Sunday. The food took 90 minutes to arrive. a very loud trumpet-led band started playing and even outside on the patio, it was abrasive.I don't think was a good value for the money.
