   I moved from Midland, TX years ago, but every few months when I return to visit, I always choose Venezia's as a must restaurant during my visit. Excellent food and choices, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

   Very much enjoyed our dinner and experience at Venezia. We were traveling from Louisiana and your restaurant was recommended to us by a sales lady in a furniture store in town. Venezie didn't come up on our google searches for "best restaurants in Midland." We were very pleased and will recommend to others who travel to Midland. My lasagna was some of the best I have had. My wife's fettuccini alfredo had very little flavor to it. Have had better, but all in all still very good.

    Food and service were fantastic! We had reservations for 7 pm, and it kinda seemed like they weren’t prepared for us. They sat us next to a very loud large party. Our table had metal patio chairs for seating, while you could clearly see that the padded interior chairs were all used for the large party.

    We went on Valentine’s Day, so they were completely overwhelmed with people, but they were still able to serve us well, and the food was very good. The surroundings are beautiful and we always enjoy going there. The noise level was of course, louder than usual, but overall it was a great experience, and we were glad we enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner there. It’s a special place.

    Disappointed in the menu they had set for Valentines Day. Didn’t know I couldn’t order off the regular menu. Otherwise I adore this place.

    My husband’s veal Marsala was tough. He said it was as tough as skirt steak. My halibut dish was delicious.

    Celebrating our 37th anniversary and the suggested wine Ruffino Pinot Grigio was great. Must try the eggplant Parmesan it is the best in town! Donavon our waiter and the staff were very attentive and courteous. Always a great dining experience. Thank you Venezia!

    As always, everything was perfect. We always visit Venezia when in town. The service, ambience and food are always top tier. Do yourself a favor and try the wedge salad and eggplant parmigiana (it’s not your typical wedge and eggplant parm). You’ll thank me later.

    We were excited to take my in-laws who are visiting from out of town here to celebrate New Years, but we were disappointed. First, on my reservation I had requested a choice of two of their specific rooms since I did not want to sit in the bar room. Well, they sat us in the bar. When I brought up my request to the host, she said there were no open tables in the other rooms. I mentioned that I saw some when we walked in (we were only a party of 4 so not a huge request) and she told me that those were reserved, to which I replied “yes, and I made a reservation in advance for that reason.” They finally moved us, but I really dislike having to be disruptive like that. My second issue was that they had a special menu for the night which was not advertised on their website and the only option for pasta at all was a lasagna, no other main pasta dishes or sides. I understand that they probably made this choice to be able to prepare a higher volume of dishes for a busy night, but we probably would have chosen to go on a different night if we would have known so that my in-laws could experience the full menu. The waiter was new and visibly nervous, but that is understandable. The last issue was their “special dessert” for the night. Advertised as a crème brulee bread pudding, we got bread pudding with piped on custard topped with sugary strawberry syrup and what seemed like a canned peach. It was bizarre and a missed opportunity to make what could have been very good. Otherwise the food was good and the fireplace room we sat in had a good ambiance.

    Third time eating here and each time has been fantastic - both the food and service. The Linguine Milano was outstanding, possibly the best I’ve ever had! My mother-in-law is a pretty picky eater. She had the spaghetti with meatballs and raved about how good it was. The tiramisu was also very good.
