In May 2021, this 40year-old-neighborhood gem on a hill underwent a full renovation. Venetian Palace is now sporting new digs with crisp modern decor and an expanded wine list. The impetus for the revamp was new ownership. Yes, the rumors are true... Valentino’s Restaurant Group which began in NE Baltimore city has now come to Harford County!

The food is better than ever, with highlights being the seafood pasta, the jumbo lump crab cakes, the grilled lamb chops, artisan handhelds, and the breakfast choices served all day.  Whether you are dining in or picking up carry-out do not forget the dessert!

    My family has a family dinner once a month. Each month it is at a different location / restaurant. My sister suggested Venetian Italian Eatery. We are usually a group of 9 or more. It was great to be able to make reservations. Many restaurants don't allow this. Venetian was ready for us. The table was set. The server was pleasant and worked with us. The food was exceptional. We had a nice time and we will be back.

    This was our second visit this week because we enjoy Sunday brunch and were interested in trying the Venetian's. This was the second meal I didn't enjoy because of the excessive amount of cheese on the omelet. I don't now if it was the type of cheese but I could hardly taste the other ingredients. The pancakes were also rather doughy. The espresso martini was terrific and my husband enjoyed the turkey sausage. We intend to give them another try perhaps for lunch before we cross them off our list. We happened to notice on the menu that 15% gratuity is included which didn't see on Thursday. Eventhough our server was terrific on Thursday, I would not have left a 20% tip on top of the 15% already added to our bill. I just didn't read the bill but just looked at the bottom line.

    First time trying this restaurant, we went for breakfast and were very impressed with the menu not your every day run of the mill breakfast. We looked over the menu and certainly plan on returning for dinner.

    This was our first time dining here. The Charcuterie was wonderful. We ordered pizza which was a bit too cheesy for our taste and one of the ingredients we wanted wasn't available . All of the wait staff was great particularly our server, Miracle. We will return to try one of the dinners.

    Every time we come here, we are amazed by the food, staff, and atmosphere. I have never had a dish I regret ordering, and the staff is courteous, funny, and makes you feel like you are part of the family.

    We were greeted immediately, although it wasn’t clear where we should go to check in. The promptly sat us, provided menus, and water. Then we walked out after 20 minutes as no one ever returned to our table.

    We did reservations to this place. We arrived at the restaurant. No one came to our table for 30 mins to take orders. We asked who is our server and no answer. Finally someone came and we waited for long time to get our sparkling water on the table. Looks they were all confused and no server was assigned to our table. Finally we get up and told manager at the front of the register. Finally we received food and server brought our soft drink, appetizer and entree together. We weee expecting to have drinks and appetizers to come first. Anyway this was big disappointment We saw 4.5 start’s reviews on OpenTable and went there. I would not go to this place again.

    We came on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded at all which we liked. Louis was our served and he was exceptional. Very personable and shared his experiences from the Philippines with me and my daughter. We had the fried ravioli as an app, a couple of frozen drinks, pizza and the NY strip. So glad we took the 30 minute drive to try this place out. We'll be back.

    We had opportunity ti visit during restaurant week. The staff was amazing! The food was delicious! There is something for everyone to eat and drink.I’ve the remodeled look! The menu is extensive!

    Was in the mood for Italian and seafood but mom only eats land animals so we tried a local spot to satisfy all palates. From the outside the restaurant looked like a diner, inside was fresh and modern. Every employee was friendly. Our server Linda was excellent and attentive. The menu had many options - it was hard to choose. We got a variety of apps, all delish! The portions were huge and the food tasty. We all left with boxes for the portions we didn’t eat. This place exceeded my expectations. Will definitely return to try other offerings.

    First time visiting the Venetian and was pleased. Clean, beautiful decor, kind and friendly employees. I had the chicken and waffles and was surprised the chicken was wings with the bone. My only suggestion would be to use boneless chicken for this dish. Otherwise, good over all. Looking forward to returning for dinner.

    First time eating here. Food was delicious and server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Tables are a little close together but we didn’t have someone sitting right next to us so that was fine. If crowded I don’t think I would like to be that close to someone else. But we will be back for sure!!

    This our second time and the food was really good. Just like the 1st experience we enjoyed all of it. Service was good the 1st time. However this time was outstanding. Grateful the business is here 10yrs later. Withnew owners & new life its a beautiful update throughout. From the updated dinning area to the staff hopefully it will be around many decades!
