Basked in chic colours with touches of mid-century design, Velaa Bar & Grill is the essence of halcyon beachside lounging, morning till night. During the day Velaa serves as poolside dining, featuring a curated refreshment list centered on light bodied wines and crafted cocktails that are complemented by freshly light dishes to savour in the summer sun. In the evening Velaa transforms into a seafood grill, showcasing fresh seafood, meats and woodfired delicacies presented in a simply uncomplicated fashion.

    A beautiful meal in perfect surroundings to celebrate my birthday. Food was outstanding and the staff went above and beyond to make our evening special, including a beautifully decorated table and celebratory cocktails. Excellent service. Thank you.

    Service is outstanding every single time and food is 4.5 to 5 stars every time. Highly recommended if you are in the mood for grilled food.

    We had such a wonderful Time at Velaa. The staff is top notch. They all work as a cohesive team so much so you really feel the entire staff is invested in your one table! Emmy, Musa, Mega and Alina are the best! The manager Robin has created a friendly and warm environment for the guests! Thank you so much for everything! We will miss you all!! Mr.Michael and Ms. Michelle.

    We spent 16 days here and Wow Hanna and her team definitely took care of all us. The menu here there is something for everyone. Wood-fired Pizzas , Fish tacos, Wagyu Beef burgers Filet Tenderloin , Rib Eyes, Farm to table salads. The mixologist on site will create fresh cocktails with natural ingredients. We always felt like we were visiting our Family, Hanna and her crew always welcomed us with warm smiles. We will miss the island of smiles. Definitely recommend you get the Full Board plus package as it includes entree and unlimited drinks and cocktails while dining. package varies 125-155 at time of this review a la carte pricing 20-75 an entree.

    Excellent staff that made us feel at home. In the Maldives the people are friendly, but this crew takes it to another level. The steak was season well and the crab cakes and bisque were good. The basil ice cream was amazing, I could eat it everyday.

    Great place for lunch and dinner. Attentive and accommodating staff. Great view. Definitely try the catch of the day!
