Our service was terrible. Drinks empty for over 30 min before our waiter returned to get us another. Dessert was brought to the table and no one had any silverware. Despite attempts to get anyone’s attention we had to get up and get our own from other tables. Food was not great. I wanted to like this place. Loved the location, loved the decor, really enjoyed the music, but overall the experience was not good. Will not return. No dish worth recommending.

Check your receipts before paying! I dined with a large group and didn’t noticed until I got home that they charged us for multiple extra items: a drink no one ordered and they told us we can keep on the house, a birthday cake they also “gifted” before we even ordered dessert, and an extra drink they charged us just because. We ended up paying almost $50 + taxes + tip for these extra charges they sneaked onto the bill. Otherwise, food was great, ambience was great, service was okay. A bit overpriced for the portions.

The empanadas were amazing! I got the Partes Iguales cocktail and loved it! Don’t pass on the avocado quinoa salad - it was delicious!

We really loved Vela! Vela is a small bar/restaurant that is very cute, pretty inside. It has incredible drinks and the food is very good! We had great service with Christian, and we really enjoyed our experience. I would highly recommend for couples looking for a date night spot for dinner or even starting/ending the evening with a drink.

Vela was a great restaurant with delicious Mexican food. We decided to raid the appetizer menu that was full of great options. The tacos were delicious! Especially the pork. Ambiance was fun and overall vibe was chill. Service was good as well. Highly recommend.

The service and ambiance were great. Drinks were good Our waiter was excellent But the food was terrible. The guacamole had good flavor but the chips that it came with were terrible. They broke as soon as I picked them up which made it hard to scoop the guacamole up. We ordered the meat that can be shared. Only 1/3 of the meat was edible. 1/3 was very chewy and hard to swallow and the other 1/3 of the meat had mostly fat on it. The tortillas were cold and stiff. This made the overall experience poor. I wouldn’t consider this Mexican food. Nice place to take pictures though

We went to a tequila tasting and had a great time. I would highly recommend it. We met the chef who is highly trained and creative.
