The flavours of Korea and Mexico have formed an unlikely, but delicious allegiance, given equal billing at Canterbury's modern fusion eatery Vecino. It's an uncommon culinary mash-up, but not one you'll forget in a hurry, thanks to a creative menu packed full of big flavours. Co-owners Tony Lee and Eunice Lim play on the similarities between two famously lively cuisines, drawing both on Lee's Korean heritage and his experience working in Mexican kitchens across the world.

Vecino was fantastic! The food was packed with flavour and very filling. The service was also great, everyone was very lovely and friendly. We would definitely come back

We had an amazing meal there, highly recommend for group catch ups. Fried chickens are must try, huge potion and you can request half/half for flavours and they are so delicious! Nice Korean and Mexican fusion executed really well. I would love to try Rita cocktails next time!
Great values for your money and very friendly staff! Thanks for your hospitality, will definitely be back :)
