Vault 244 Bistro | Lounge
Please note that we primarily a 21+ establishment. We do have a small amount of seating to accommodate minors but it is best to give us a call before coming in to make sure that seating for parties with minors is available.
Our dinners were scrumptious! Almost embarrassed to say that everyone was a member of the “Clean Plate Club” and that is not a reflection on the generous portions. Will be back soon.
Fine dining, noise level was a little loud this visit but still amazing
One of my favorite places for happy hour. Great food. I always have the best service. Delicious drinks.
Nice place, Service was very good and we has a nice time. The only negative I could mention was that the Steak I had seemed under seasoned and there was no Salt and Pepper on the table. Would go again.
Vault 244 far exceeds our expectations every time. We so appreciate the extra care given to us by the Head Chef-Rian. Amazing chef and our food is no less than PERFECT when served. Service staff is always a pleasure. Polite, friendly, and outgoing personalities. Hats off to a great establishment.
Always a great place to eat with friends. Best cocktails around and done right. Usually a few favorites on the menu plus a couple of new options to try. Tapas always are great.
The quality and varied offerings make visiting Vault 244 an enjoyable experience. The servers. Are very welcoming and care for their customers. This is a great place to enjoy good food.
If someone said they were going i would encourage them but i would never say “you have to try this place”. It was fine but not special.
Everything was splendid. We celebrated our 10 year first date anniversary (which was here). Even better than 10 years ago!!
Great food and service. A bit noisy, however. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to others.
Great food and cocktails!
Wonderful. My early birthday. Girlfriend & I went 2nd year. Food & service excellent. Our shared dessert came with a lit candle. AWESOME
Great steak! Great service! Timely and efficient.
Our food and cocktails were great as always! Our server was AMAZING (girl from Redmond) . She made our dining experience fun and memorable! We can’t wait to come back again soon! This is our favorite place to go to with good friends or a date night.
We had a wonderful time, food, service, atmosphere all top notch. So nice to have a great place close to home.
Very good for happy hour. Service can be great or so-so, this time was very good - as was the food.
Birthday celebration. We had 7:30 reservations but really wanted to go at 6:30. They were very accommodating.
The Vault was disappointing overall; probably won't return even though we have frequently dined there. Made reservation online but was seated next to restroom entry even though other tables facing bar were available. Probably explains the large fly buzzing our table the entire time. Steak was lukewarm, Caesar salad blah, but dessert (flourless chocolate torte) was great!
Always excellent. Good for adult meetings and get togethers
We were there for our 23rd anniversary!!
The whole experience was wonderful:-)
We highly recommend the Vault
Service couldn't have been better. Server congenial and efficient. Sat in back where it was quite and cool. W
Another great meal with great company at the Vault. Meatloaf was superb and the Pork Porterhouse with brussel sprouts was a killer! great flavor and great friendly service. Nice wine selection and spot on Negroni cocktail.
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year Wedding anniversary and The Vault was the prefect place for dinner and drinks! Food was great!
Great service. salmon and filet both cooked perfectly I'd preferred a different table it was close to the door to the patio seating made so it was very busy area.
The food was delicious, that much is true! Service could use some refinement. Wine arrived after small plates and our table was further ignored after that. As we were left desiring another dish our check quickly arrived, leaving us to venture further up the street to supplement our meal which ended with more interested attention.
This was our second visit to the vault having gone the year before so was really looking forward to it. We were celebrating a milestone birthday. We had reservations but were asked to wait at the bar for over an hour. We kept checking with the hostess and there were several open tables? The food we ordered was all hard to eat. We decided to order small plates. Everything either was very spicy, covered in mayonnaise or was over cooked and hard to chew. I will say the drinks were good. We decided to go elsewhere for dessert as after 4plus hours of poor service and bad food we had reached our limit.
5 stars for the chef & only the chef! Seriously whoever made our meals is legit! We travel often & He should ditch this place a go to San Francisco, San Diego or New York! The guy can cook & he clearly knows his stuff!
As for the rest of this place...it has major issues!!!
We made a reservation through open table at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Arrived and 7:15 & told “our table was still occupied & it shouldn’t be long.” There is no place to wait inside as there are literally dining tables next to the entrance which felt quite awkward as we were standing over the people who were eating!
We went outside and waited for about 20 mins at which time we decided to go back inside to check the status of our reservation since we saw several people coming & going. We were asked our name again and it was obvious the hostess forgot about us and possibly gave our table to others as she scrambled around looking for a place to seat us. We ended up in a table in the bar area next to the computer that several waiters gathered & chatted.
We almost left but stayed since we were quite hungry. To our surprise, the drinks & food we’re fabulous! We enjoyed a variety of dishes which were all prepared perfectly!
I noticed, the hostess who sat us also had to wait tables & serve food. We had a male waiter who clearly seemed to be “going through the motions” & would rather be anywhere but there! Truly, all of the staff looked so unhappy and possibly mistreated by management or the owner as they grumbled at each other quite frequently & quietly. It’s hard to figure out exactly what is going on here but something just doesn’t add up!
On a side note, a member of our party was celebrating a birthday which I put in the comments when booking the reservation but the waiter failed to say a word about it.
So I guess I would recommend this place if you want excellent food but sad service from a group of probably overwhelmed, overworked & underpaid people who give the minimum effort!
Items from the “Current Menu” listed on the website were not available on the restaurant menu. The server said they don’t update the website “Current Menu” every time the in-house menu because it is expensive. So, I ordered the fish tacos instead. The flavor was bland, making this a grossly overpriced item. Service for our 6 person group was slow and it took forever to pay our bill.
Great food; table next to the door is kind of a put off. We will come back :)
Everything about Vault 244 was incredible. The drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious. We sat at an intimate table in the corner and had a great time enjoying the experience and each other’s company. I would definitely recommend Vault 244.
The food was good, but not spectacular; and the waiter seemed a bit irritable. He may have been busy, and we may have been a handful, but a good waiter should be able to maintain a bit more patience and service orientation than was displayed.
Overall, an enjoyable experience. The biggest issue was no host/hostess. Our waitress ended up doing double duty as server and hostess so she ended up being overwhelmed with getting people to there tables and was unable to provide timely service to her tables. Also, the drinks from the bar were very well made, but it took a long, long time to gets drinks. I ordered a second cocktail when my food was delivered, and didn't get it until after I had finished eating my entree. The front section of the seating area is very dark and I overheard several older patrons mention this fact in a less than desirable way. Overall, food and drinks were very good. I had the Alaskan halibut, and my wife had the chicken saltimbocca. We were both very pleased with our meal. Had the floorless chocolate torte for dessert(because they were out of the pecan pie) and it was more like a mousse pie than any floorless torte I have ever had.
Wonderful food and great staff. Happy hour menu is great.
We go here often. The menu does not change much, but has some excellent things on it, and they are willing to make reasonable substitutions. I personally love the prime rib and lots of the sides. The bartender has a great reputation in the area. The only weird thing is that they don't give you spoons unless you ask. Nonetheless, one of our favorite places.
After doing both dinner and happy hour here, I think happy hour is the way to go!
Outstanding food quality and prep. Services is exceptional and the atmosphere is perfect for friendly conversation and dining.
Amazing food, amazing ambiance, and amazing drinks!
Our server, Ryan was superb.
As a retired owner/chef I find it difficult eat out due to my expectations. Food was prepared properly and service was exceptional.
Finally, a place that I am looking forward to seeing again
Great food, great bar & great service. Be sure to make a reservation.
We had wonderful service and really like the back room for a quiet dinner. The steak and meatloaf were excellent as was the risotto (but as a meal it was too much of the same thing). The dungess crab and shrimp salad was a bit disappointing because the crab was too salty. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time.
