Luv the ambiance.
The Food was not very good; I had the pork chop and it was so tough it was really difficult to cut. I asked to substitute the sweet potatoes for mashed potatoes; there was no problem with that, but the potatoes tasted like they were instant and came from a box. My husband said the same thing about his mashed potatoes which accompanied his salmon. He said his fish was just so-so. Our service person did not check with us at all to see if we wanted or needed anything, but the owner did come by for a quick chat. We all had a cocktail before dinner. My martini was great. We have been there several times in the past, but was really disappointed with the dinner this time.
The Blood Martini was delicious, and for my friend's birthday they gave him a complimentary Baked Alaska that was amazing. I had salmon and it was delicious (although a bit on the small side). My husband had the skirt steak and he really enjoyed it. I tasted it and thought it was really good, but a bit peppery for my taste. The server was very attentive and polite. Overall a great dinner!
Our server Tina made my birthday a very special occasion. She took my very unique drink order and was apply to translate it well to the bartender so I could enjoy my favorite Jeanne-tini . She gave us time between appetizers and main dishes and quickly supplied new fresh napkins or cutlery as needed while waiting on many other patrons.
The food was delicious and offered many different plates to satisfy all palates.
I’ve been to Vault 164 about 1/2 dozen times already and the service, food and wine list just keeps getting better and better. Kudos!
I was pleasantly surprised by the way exceptional service. From the sweet ladies at the front desk to our waitress and her incredible personality and service and the manager they all delighted us.
We were in a room that had a large loud party and it was noisy but the manager came over apologized and asked if he could buy us a dessert. It was so unexpected and so nice. We had their amazing creme brûlée.
Great food and service
We got there about noon for lunch. We were seated immediately as the restaurant was not crowded at all.
We started with the fried Brussel sprouts and the deviled eggs. The sprouts were good but the eggs, spectacular. We then order the cheese steak sandwich, good, but remember we're not in Philly. The burger was done well and the chicken club sandwich, very good.
I would recommend this place and plan to return for dinner some day.
Asked for steak to be medium and it was served dry and over well done. Waiter was really nice and took it right back, I was then served rare steak and did not eat it, the fries were gross they tasted as if they were fried in old oil and even fried twice. Was with a group of friends and did not want to appear unhappy, so I just paid for a meal that I did not eat.
The place was cold and un inviting, there were several large groups so it was extremely loud, and no one came to take drink order or welcome us for at least 15 mins. It was my sons bday and I had wanted it to be special, I had to remind them to bring a dessert with a candle and we order fries, and never got them. The food was good though, but not worth returning for.
The food here is excellent. For our fairly large group of 10, conversation was almost impossible; so loud in there. We needed to shout, to be understood by family sitting directly across the table. This would be a nice dining experience, with reasonable sound levels...
Took mom out for NYE dinner and what a pleasant surprise! Seated promptly (we had reservations) and the server was excellent! We had the cauliflower latke as an appetizer and the apple jam made the dish! The pork entree was juicy and the short ribs were eaten with a fork.
The dessert was a wonderful ending to a great experience- Baked Alaska. Very well presented with flambé and all!
